Dr Galea is my daughter's treating physician. My daughter was born with a incomplete/complete bilateral cleft. From moment one, Dr. Galea was stellar. He was reassuring and extremely calming to two new parents. He performed her primary lip repair about a year ago and will be performing her primary palate repair shortly. Dr. Galea has always made himself available for questions both prior to and post surgery. Northern Nevada is very fortunate to have his level of care and expertise.

I was referred to Dr. Galea for wisdom teeth extractions. I am very nervous about any dentist visits, but the entire staff made me feel very comfortable. Maggie the receptionist was extremely helpful from start to finish. The assistants were great. Everyone was professional. Highly recommend!

I had oral surgery preformed by Dr. Galea six months ago. Parking was easy, and staff members were prompt, professional, and kind. Surgery went well (pain, and stress free). Any post-operative discomfort was easily handled with ibuprofen (two days). Overall, I was very comfortable with the entire experience. One doesn't require an Oral Surgeon everyday; I would highly recommend Northern Nevada Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to my family and friends. Thank You very much and Good Luck, Dr. Galea!

When my son and I went for the consultation, Dr. Galea took time to explain exactly what needed to be done and made sure we were comfortable with the explanation. He was fine with answering questions about his education and experience. He made my son feel comfortable with the expected procedure. Dr Galea removed some of my teeth under sedation and him and his staff were all amazing. I have issues with anesthesia and they gave me the correct anesthesia mixture and I had no problems. What a great atmosphere, and good vibe the staff/Doctor give off in this office! I was a dental assistant, and yes...completely terrified at the thought of getting one of my own teeth pulled!!! The assistant and Doctor were both wonderful!! They had me laughing the entire time!! Would definitely recommend Dr. Galea, and his office! 5 stars!!

He consulted with my er physician on a Thursday around noon and told them to have me ready for surgery that evening I was restricted to no food or drink. 7 hours later when I am transferred to facility where surgery is to be performed he isn't available and hasn't scheduled xrays needed for surgery. He is unavailable all night but claims he will come by around 10 next morning. Next morning he fails to show up and can not be reached I have been on food a drink restriction for 24 hours. Not until nearly 2 in the afternoon did he finally contact hospital. This is not a person I would trust to do a medical procedure when he doesn't even show reliability in meeting commitments or basic responsibility to let you know he can't meet those commitments
