Amazing dental office! I had a full redo of my bridge and Dr. Munninger was very thorough. From choosing the color to the placement of the bridge, the quality of his work was very important to him and outstanding for me. Also, I got a call from the front office to let me know I had a refund due based on my type of insurance so they were on top of it as well. I would highly recommend this office for any dental service.

Went to my dentist appt for the first time. They couldn’t do the cleaning and exam the same day. I went there and waited 30 mins to be seen. The doctor was awesome but the staff that worked with me didn’t even greet themselves. I got a call the next day to come up with prices for root canals and fillings. The person on the phone told me the receptionst didn’t tell me the X-rays THEY GAVE ME was not covered under my insurance but my insurance covers bite X-rays 100%. She also gave me a quote if 736$ for one root canal and my insurance covers 80% of all dental work. Way to over priced and miscommunication with staff and clients.

I haven’t been to the dentist in literally years(gross, I know) and I have to say that this is a really well operated staff. Brad immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He came in with a smile, greeted my family and I and assured me that the problems I had would be taken care of. I have never felt that way in any doctors office or dental office before. It was really a pleasant visit and I have complete faith in this place. It was an awesome experience. Brad is the man to see in there. Absolutely a very cool guy to be around.

I saw Heidi and Brad today. Both were very fun and professional. They were also very gentle and informative. (I am a weenie when it comes to the dentist.)Very clean and nice office. Facilities seemed very new and all equipment up to date. Staff was very kind at each stage of the process, from making the appointment to actually showing up today. They allowed my boyfriend to come back and hangout with me during my cleaning, which he really enjoyed, and made the not always so fun aspect of going to the dentist a much more enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend if you are in need of a dentist in the Fernley area!

The staff, the facilities, and the doctor were all really great! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive experience with very experienced doctors and very attentive staff. The equipment and building are all newer, and they took extra time to make sure I was comfortable. I needed a crown done in 2012 and Dr. Munninger was willing to come in on a Saturday morning for a few hours to do the work with little to no notice, on a difficult tooth, I have mile long roots. >.> He made sure to medicate me throughout the procedure, and I was very comfortable. What prompted me to write this review is that 2 years later, the crown failed, apparently a small percentage of them always do, and their excellent 5 year warranty covered the cost of replacement at my new dentist, 1200 miles away. All I was responsible for was "labor". They were even very prompt in sending payment to help me avoid billing issues. These guys really care for their patients and I am very happy to have been a patient their!

I went to Desert Valley Dental with a severe toothache. They were totally booked and still made the time to get me right in and extract the tooth. The staff was amazing and the dr did a fantastic job. He made sure i was completely out of pain and comfortable before he attempted to extract the tooth. Desert Valley Dental is the only dental office i will go to.

Horrible Customer services.....Cancel appointments if they can't get ahold of you...godforbid you work two jobs to pay for your kids ridiculously expensive dental bills...I made the appointment for a reason....take off work and they do that...would of spent a lot of money in there but now it's going somewhere else... you should too...they obviously only care about money not the well being of their patients very sad.

I was traveling from Texas to the Wildfires in Redding, Ca., somewhere while in Utah I broke a cap and was in excruciating pain I called this office and explained my situation and was told they were full but if I wanted to come in they would try to work me in. Lucky for me after the paperwork, I was seated quickly, the Dr came in, explained my options, repaired my tooth and I was on my way, The staff was very kind and super efficient and best of all very affordable. Thanks guys, Great job!!!!

Most were OK; a couple were less than OK. I started going to Desert Valley Dental when it opened its doors here in Fernley ... and since then I've never given a moment's thought about going anywhere else ... because Desert Valley Dental is the absolute BEST!! Dr Homze, Dr Brad, Temple, Sandy, and everyone else on the entire staff (naming each one individually would take a lot of space) are beyond outstanding, they are all ultra-outstanding! In the many, many years I've been going there, I have had a wide variety of positive experiences. I'll mention two. Many years ago, a shattered front tooth. Not much of it remaining. Called, seen the same afternoon, 30% of the tooth saved, the destroyed 70% reconstructed so expertly by Dr Brad that now it is a decade later and that 30% / 70% tooth is still doing exactly what a tooth is supposed to do. Then, a year and a half ago, during a routine cleaning, Temple noted that some teeth seemed damaged. Dr Homze checked, concurred and urged an immediate consult with a sleep disorder specialist. He would not even allow me to leave until I was given a list of area doctors specializing in sleep disorders. Long story shorter ... Temple's astute observation and Dr Homze's fast assessment and recommendation led to a sleep study which eliminated any physical illness ... BUT ... which DID identify a combination of medicines that, when inadvertently taken together each night as prescribed, create a drug-induced sleep disorder. Today, eighteen months later, I am no longer taking two medicines that I had been taking for eight years, unknowingly, in steadily stronger doses --- steadily stronger doses that were slowly increasing the possibility of a grave medical incident. And all of this was discovered because a wonderfully professional technician at Desert Valley Dental observed something suspicious about my TEETH! So, yes, I'm rating Desert Valley Dental a 5-star agency, and I'm gratefully recommending that anyone who in seeking the finest dental care imaginable go there.

The dentists are gentle, trustworthy, patient and incredibly fun, too. It's crazy but, we look forward to our checkups lol.
