I've never had a cavity, so take my experience with a grain of salt--or sugar--if you may. ;-) I was a little late and Kristen, my hygienist, still got the exam and cleaning done--so I didn't have to come back--which was great. It was just a cleaning and x-rays, but I'll be back in six months for sure. They are in the Delta Dental plan and had good reviews (which enter you into a drawing). Oh, yeah, and a little fleece blanket with first visit. The chapstick freebie is mostly organic which is nice. If you feel lucky in drawings, you might try this place. Someone said they were giving away a Jeep. Whoever is in charge of their marketing is doing a good job. It brought me in.

Went to this office when I first moved to C Falls. The assistants were very friendly and Dr. Miller seemed competent. The office staff had issues with my insurance and then I was treated like a criminal. They did not want to help. I had to figure it out. Then when I needed a root canal they scheduled me for over 2 weeks out, said they would call if there was a cancellation. I was miserable, found an endodentist. Why not refer me if you don't have time? The second time I needed a root canal Dr. Miller left the office for the day without even addressing my request for a referral. Have never been treated this poorly by a dentist.

My elderly mother provides this office with her insurance number 3 months prior to her appointment and drove 2 hours from Trego to come in. I took the day off work to come with her At the time she arrived they said her insurance did not cover the visit. They had her insurance information for 3 months, and even called to verify her appointment, without ever taking the 2 seconds it took them today to look and she if she was covered or not. Then they called her after we left, wouldnt let her speak, and then hung up on her. Everything about the way they handled this was wrong.

When I was referred about 7 years ago to the Columbia Falls Family Dental center - it was the best referral I have received in a long time. I have been very satisfactorily treated by the whole staff. It's "unusual" but quite awesome - they process their dental claims accurately and thoroughly; to make sure the patient is receiving any $$ benefits that ordinarily could be easily overlooked.

Excellent experience! Wonderful staff! I had not been to the dentist in 10 years and was terrified to go. My main fear was pain from shots. To my surprise Dr. Miller did such an excellent job with the injection that I did not even feel it! I am no longer scared to go to the dentist and would highly recommend this office to everyone! They are not pushy with treatment and it was a very comfortable experience.

The dentists themselves are great, but the office staff is completely lacking competence. I had a credit card denied because of how they put it into their system (confirmed with credit card company) and the staff would not call to try to fix it. I also had to make an extra 30 minute drive because the card we always used was in my name and my husband was the one that had the dental work done and they wouldn't except the card due to me not being their, then didn't even check my ID to confirm it was me. If you don't mind that the staff wastes your time, then go ahead and go here, but if you want to be treated like your time is worth something go somewhere else.

I am beyond terrified of going to the dentist which is why it has been difficult to find the right fir. From the office staff when you first walk in, to billing and procedure questions handled by Naomi my first impression was so positive. I needed immediate and significant dental intervention after breaking a tooth. Dr. Miller was outstanding with my extreme anxiety and with providing excellent medical treatment. His dental assistant Carrie was absolutely incredible. So kind, understanding, reassuring. She let me hold ( tightly squeeze) her hand as often as I needed. She and Dr. Miller worked to communicate with me in a way that made all of the difference. I am so grateful for the entire staff at Columbia Falls Family Dental Center. I look forward to my whole family, including our child with special needs, being under their care!!!

We had 1 day left before our insurance didn't cover our procedure and they literally opened back up for us at 8pm to squeeze us in to get it done last limit. They are booked for a reason people and this is why. There that good. I mean seriously what business would do that. Come in this late and open for 1 person to get a root canal and crown this late. The dental hygienist we've had are thorough, gentle and capable. Our dentists are knowledgable and although I'm certain they could work anywhere with their education, they chose our valley. Again, i never feel pressured into unnecessary treatments and am always given the time. I would easily reccomend this center as a good choice all around - we actually drive from our home town of Whitefish to be in their care.

We've been clients now for about 3 years and we cannot say enough how professional and personalized our care is. Every question is addressed, every option is provided with a no pressure atmosphere. The dental hygienist we've had are thorough, gentle and capable. Our dentists are knowledgable and although I'm certain they could work anywhere with their education, they chose our valley. Again, i never feel pressured into unnecessary treatments and am always given the time. I would easily reccomend this center as a good choice all around - we actually drive from our home town of Whitefish to be in their care.

Great experience! While on a road trip 2,000 miles from home my son had a really bad toothache- they fit us in first thing the very next day, and were very nice and extremely professional. The office is very clean and we were in and out quickly and able to continue on our vacation. Highly recommend!

Wow... from the first phone call with the receptionist, who was happy to help me navigate what amount of care I needed and fit me into their schedule, to the hygienist, who was informative, clear and concise (not to mention thorough and efficient!), to the dentist, who was respectful and straightforward, overall the best dental experience I've had. I haven't been to a civilian dentist since i was a child, and was very scared to go. the man i had back then was a massive body builder, and was none to gentle. technology and the tools used at Smile Montana seem very advanced, from what i remember as a child. When my insurance was about to run out, Emily made me a special appointment and came in on her day off so I would still be covered. She is an incredibly sweet person. They have the perfect amount of friendliness, and chit chat while focusing on customer comfort. I am so glad I decided to go with Smile Montana, and am not even "terrified of the dentist" any longer ;).

Amazing staff and great care! Everyone in this office always goes the extra mile to make your experience as easy as possible. The staff knew I was in pain and got me in ASAP. Truly the sweetest ladies in the front office. Dr. Ashe was very accommodating and helped me with my pain. Naomi was very informative about the financial aspect and even called other specialist in Kalispell until she found one that took my insurance. This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to! I can honestly say I have found my forever dental office. I highly recommend them for your dental needs!

I have been going here since I was a young teenager, and have always had a good experience! I usually don't write reviews, but yesterday I had an cleaning that I was nervous about since my gums were so swollen due to plaque build up & hormone changes due to pregnancy. Zoe did a great job of numbing everything up and cleaning, and its the next day and the inflammation has gone down significantly and they no longer hurt! Also, my 4 year old daughter loves coming here for her cleanings and we never have any issues. :)

You have heard about people traveling south of the border for dental care? Well, that is exactly what we have started doing from Southern Alberta once we met Dr. Miller and all the great staff in Columbia Falls. It started with an emergency visit last summer and our experience was so good we decided to just make them our regular dentist since we are in the Flathead all the time anyway. The customer service and dental care are second to none in a comfortable setting. At my last appointment they told me it was Throwback Thursday and I got to watch Top Gun through noise-quieting headphones. What middle-aged woman doesn't love Top Gun. They all have a great sense of humor and you can tell they enjoy their work.
