We were new patients calling because my daughter said her tooth hurt. They got us in right away with no hassle. Friendly staff started from the front, to the hygienist and right to Dr. Kevin. Clean facility, so cute and kid friendly. My daughter just ended up having a really wiggly tooth and was able to sign up for the cavity free club! She was so excited about that!! I love taking my children to Dr. Rencher's Pediatric Dentistry! The best part about it is that my children love going too! First of all, their office is amazing. The jungle theme along with the electronics definitely put my kids at ease, from my youngest who loves the animals to my oldest who goes right for the video games. Dr. Rencher and his staff are so friendly; they take the time to actually visit with my children and I before cleanings, yet still manage to be very efficient with appointments. I like that they tell my children what they are doing before they do it. My kids no longer worry about the dental tools in their mouths because now they know what each one does. Hands down, best dentist! I also appreciate that Dr. Rencher donates many hours of his time to the local Health Co-op in Helena to provide free dental services for needy children. Not to mention that so far every year my kids have played YMCA Soccer, they have received jerseys courtesy of Pediatric Dentistry. So awesome--love that they give back to the community!

The staff are so interactive with the children, I love how Dr. Rencher and the assistant all talk directly to the children instead of talking over their heads to the parents as some Doctors tend to do. 3 Rivers (in particular Dr. Z and Sarah!) has changed our experience with the dentist. I used to drag sobbing, screaming, hyperventilating children into our old dentist office and we would *all* leave crying even harder than when we came. Now, one of the kiddos CHEERS when it's time to go, and the other one (who has some medical trauma, so this is still huge) comes willingly albeit nervously, but once she is settled in and remembers that no one there is going to touch her without her permission and that they care about her safety and comfort, she is able to relax. We always leave with big grins. Always. The staff here clearly cares about children's autonomy and making sure they feel secure and cared for as much as they care about teeth health. They do incredibly well with children with special needs (I have one kiddo with orthopedic needs, and one with mental health stuff; both have generalized anxiety disorder), and with kids with major fears of the dentist. We couldnt possibly appreciate them more. ♡ Thank you 3 Rivers for helping my family overcome the fear of the dentist, and for making sure we always feel safe and cared about!

Dr. Rencher is the best pediatric dentist in Montana! He is wonderful with my children he interacts with them and makes the whole process fun for children. His staff is awesome they all enjoy working with children, they make cleanings fun and involve the children in choosing what kind of cleaning paste they want to use, children can lay back and watch a cartoon that they have with an TV overhead so that they are not bored or scared they also accommodate the children in all ways as possible. You walk into the office and it is very inviting for the children, they have made the waiting area kid friendly with games to being able to watch a show. I really enjoy having my children being able to go to Dr. Rencher and not be scared, they get excited when I say we are going to the dentist.

Dr. Rencher is one of the most kind and compassionate human beings you will ever meet. From the moment you walk into his state of the art clinic, it is very obvious that your child is in the hands of a highly devoted pediatric dentist, who truly loves what he does. His clinic is amazing! My kids look forward to their visits with Dr. Rencher, which is typically not the case when is comes to the dentist, as most of us know. His staff have always been very accommodating. They welcome us with a smile and are very knowledgeable. They always take the time to answer any questions I may have about my childrens' dental hygiene, without making me feel like my questions are silly, or that I should already know the answer to my questions. We have always enjoyed our interactions with all of his staff. Whether your child needs extensive dental work or a basic teeth cleaning and preventative care, I highly recommend Dr. Rencher. Your child will have a wonderful experience. And who doesn't want his/her child to actually look forward to dentist appointments?! As a side note: My child did have extensive work done and I was able to go back with Dr. Rencher. To be COMPLETELY honest, I wish I hadn't. I think it made the whole situation worse for everyone. I feel that it was an added disruption not only to Dr. Rencher and his staff, but also my daughter. It was also very, very difficult for me. It is a very trying task to perform extensive dental work on children. Actually, it's not just difficult to perform dental work, it's difficult to put a cast on a child, evaluate a child's ears, or even perform a routine eye exam. You think you will make the experience better for your child by being there, but believe me, you don't. There is a reason they suggest that you do not go back with your child for more extensive procedures. I strongly feel that it is imperative to trust the professional healthcare workers. They're the ones who know what they're doing, and what is best for your child.

Their office is very easy to find and get to without having to battle the heavy flow of traffic like the other location. Everyone at 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry is amazingly friendly, caring and very welcoming. This office has a more relaxed vibe compared to Missoula Valley Pediatrics Dentistry, although I liked bringing my kids there as well, it felt like they were trying to rush as many people in and out as quickly as they could and the staff was constantly ping ponging back and forth from room to room. 3 Rivers feels more relaxed and the office feels more organized. They all go above and beyond to make the kids feel comfortable. They explain every step they are doing in plain english so you know exactly what they have to do and what your kid is going to experience so there is no surprises in the end. We will definitely keep coming back and refer 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry to my friends!! Keep up the great work!!

My 2 year fell on his sippy cup and pushed his tooth up into his gums on friday. Made an appointment for the following week on Wednesday. Plus the 24/7 emergency phone line was a comfort for us all. There are TV screens on the ceiling with kid friendly movie options playing to help distract kids if they feel anxious. We LOVE 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry - but not as much as our kids do. Our son is 4 1/2 and has gone here 5 times now for things ranging from cleanings to check ups to getting a filling on a tooth and LOVES the ladies who work there (especially Celeste). Our daughter just turned 2 and although she is a little more reserved, she has gone twice and has left smiling and and loves how the gals show her how the dental tools work. He is very good with kids and takes a lot of pride in his job. He is very gentle and educated. My nephew fell on the playground and busted his tooth out. My nephew was so scared. Dr. Rencher took the time to keep him calm and fixed his gum that was completely broken. Many dentist offices do not allow you to go back with your kid. Many kids react differently when parents are present. Do some research about this and you will see, that at least two other practices in town do the same thing.

Though I LOVE Dr. Kevin to death. He was/is both my children dentist. He is the nicest person, straight forward, easy with the children. But today unfortunately due to him being gone I made my child's appointment with Dr. Mari, I expected my child's checkup to go as usual, the nicest assistant tried to brush my two years old teeth. I could tell my two year old was uneasy which confused me. Then she was horrify. So the assistant waited for Dr. Mari. Which was fine. After my toddler was crying Dr. Mari made my fiancee and my older hold down my toddler to brush. She was bleeding at the gums where 3 months ago hurt herself. After the horrifying experience of watching. She pushed on a issue we had talked to Dr. Kevin about 2 months earlier. I got so frustrated I walked out. As I made the next appointment FOR Dr. Kevin..which we adore him. Dr. Mari made a very loud rude comment. Besides some issues in the front office. I will not be making any more appointments with Dr. Mari. Though i understand his office issues. Dr. Kevin is the greatest dentist I had for my children.

I love everything about this place...except billing. We had a 6 month fiasco where they couldn’t find the payment from our insurance and kept billing us for it. Eventually we sorted it out and they were very nice about it. At our last visit, Kiara was wonderful with both my kids, treating them with respect and care.

Had a great experience with my very busy and sensory sensitive 3 year old. The hygienist was super patient and creative and followed my daughter's lead in what she was comfortable with. I was worried we would have a screaming fit but she ended up letting them clean her teeth AND take xrays - plus she made a new buddy! She has been talking about the dentist all day! I randomly stopped in to get an appointment set up for my not so doctor friendly three year old. They offered to see him right away and handled his terrible toddler attitude with grace. To top off the chaos my 8 month old filled his diaper during the visit and (being ill prepared for all things) I didn’t have a diaper on hand. The staff was so friendly and had diapers and wipes on hand for me to use. What could have been a disastrous COMPLETELY RANDOM visit, was turned around by their relaxed nature and loving atmosphere. We are very happy we stopped in and left cavity free and a priceless experience.

Really love the office and the staff. Everyone is so nice And welcoming. They make sure you and your child are comfortable with and understand what procedures they are doing or are going to do. The office and dental rooms are not tight, there’s room for both parents to be in there with your child. Lots of natural sunlight that the big windows let in makes it you feel like you are not in a closed in space, it is more relaxing.
