I’ve seen multiple children walk in that office and be scared until they’re with her- she’s compassionate, caring and loving to all patients. The paper work wasn't redundantand time consuming. Had an appointment and they needed to make sure i wasn't pregnant and so they tested me and I was negative but then they refused to fix my teeth anyway. Then they went and rescheduled without telling us and didn't tell us until a few days before our appointment. They then got mad cause we coudnt make the appointment they decided to schedule and said if we coudnt make it then they'd have to let us go and we'd need to find a new dentist. Pure rudeness and disrespect.

We went to this office for the extraction of six baby molars, as advised by my 13-yr old son’s orthodontist. The dentist didn’t check to make sure my son was numb before she started the extractions, nor did she ask how he was doing along the way. I’ve never experienced a dentist not checking in with the patient during a procedure. My son was stoic in the dental chair then sobbed in the car afterwards.

This dental practice shamed, threatened, and physically restrained my five-year-old child who was scared out of his mind and has sensory issues--and this was after his first visit, where they were brusque and abrupt with him instead of making him feel welcome and relaxed. As a result of their irresponsible actions, he still suffers from dental anxiety even after a couple years time. They also performed a procedure on my child that they told us was necessary--without telling us it could later "go bad," which it did, and when asked about this they just shrugged. After their poor treatment of both my son and myself, we took him to a different pediatric dentist in town, who has never treated him with anything but firmness, respect, and understanding. Perhaps this practice would be better served spending some of their exhorbitant fees on staff training and less on fish tanks and tchotchkes.

Dr. Tiede screamed repeatedly at my six year old child when she cried from pain. She threatened my child that she would force me to leave if she cried. She threatened to restrain my child. She tried to shame my child for crying from physical pain and fear. Please do not bring your child to her for treatment.

I first met Dr Tiede 15 years ago when I was working with severely developmentally disabled adults. At the time she was one of the only dentists in our state who was willing to work with clients in that realm. I was impressed with her professionalism, guenuine kindness and caring for these clients whom are frequently looked upon with disdain and discomfort in the general public. Her calm and guenuine demeanor won over even the most difficult client. 6 years later I had my first child and began bringing him. Now with the birth of my 3rd son I look forward to continue seeing Dr. Tiede, Dr. Foster and the many caring staff. We've had several emergency teeth issues (3 boys) that their office was immediately willing to see m. They always tell me exactly what is happening, I have never had any issues with procedures happening without my consent, they even accept my unwillingness to use flourish without giving me a lecture. I feel confident that my children are reciting top notch quality care, we are all being treated with the utmost respect and that at any time I can discuss any concerns or issues I may have with them without any repercussions.

I first met Dr Tiede 15 years ago when I was working with severely developmentally disabled adults. At the time she was one of the only dentists in our state who was willing to work with clients in that realm. I was impressed with her professionalism, guenuine kindness and caring for these clients whom are frequently looked upon with disdain and discomfort in the general public. Her calm and guenuine demeanor won over even the most difficult client. 6 years later I had my first child and began bringing him. Now with the birth of my 3rd son I look forward to continue seeing Dr. Tiede, Dr. Foster and the many caring staff. We've had several emergency teeth issues (3 boys) that their office was immediately willing to see m. They always tell me exactly what is happening, I have never had any issues with procedures happening without my consent, they even accept my unwillingness to use flourish without giving me a lecture. We took him elsewhere in town, and they capped a tooth and called it good. Here we are, almost 3 years later, and his teeth are still fine. No pain, no issues. Walking out of this office and never coming back saved an immeasurable amount of suffering for my little boy, and a pile of money. I suggest you do the same.

As a parent it is hard to watch someone else discipline your child to watch your child have to go through something that no one on this Earth enjoys like a dental injection or even just a dental visit I have been there first hand as a parent but as a past dental assistant at Missoula pediatric dentistry I have seen what looks like chaos from a mother's view work magic kids who came in for their first visits and would not even walk in the back office with out being upset Dr. Tiede would take the time to make the visits always end on a good note no matter what the child had to have done or how hard it was for her to work on a moving target and before I knew it the very same child would be so excited to see her I also have to give her props on how one room can have a upset child that she is doing a filling on but when she walks out that door her focus is on your child one hundred percent I trust her judgment as a dentist always I have since working here for 4 years moved to North Dakota and travel back to bring my daughter to her I have seen her do some of the most selfless things for her employees she is always available and flexible for her patience and their parents.

I absolutely love Dr Tiede, she’s very kind and gentle, she loves every child that walks in her door as if they were her own! My grand babies love her to death my grandson is always asking to go see his Dr Tiede!! I also worked for Dr Tiede for 15 years I would still be there today if I didn’t have a medical issue that hit me hard last year! She still keeps in touch with me and is the only one that is constantly checking on me to see if I need anything or just to say hi! We love Dr Tiede and will NEVER go any where else!

I loved the environment for the kids. It's probably one of the nicer offices I've seen. But do NOT miss an appointment. Apparently they have the right to refuse children if the parents miss an appointment. Now my kid has been complaining about his mouth hurting and the refuse to take him.
