Thank you for once again changing my kids appointment. I make their cleaning appointments 6 mos in advance- yet right before the appointment you call to reschedule. If it was a few days or even a week difference I could understand but over 2 months!!! This happens almost each time their cleanings come up. And when I spoke with the front office about my frustration they couldn't have cared less. I will be changing all 3 of my boys dentist and will never refer you.

Every time I go I am always impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Kinnee and the team! I had a mouth gaurd replaced and it was the best fit and so comfortable to sleep in! My cleanings and Dr.Kinnees work have all been top notch. Highly recommend!

Everyone at Missoula General Dentistry is very nice, and really seem to care about our well-being, not just how shiny our teeth are. I've never gotten a lecture here about what I SHOULD be doing, whereas at some other practices, you could be a dental rockstar and they'd still give you "that look." We originally came here because another practice wouldn't take in an emergency, but the staff here have definitely earned our business for the long-haul.

This place is garbage. They call every other day to see if you can come in early, even when requested to not do so. They will hit your insurance for as much as they possibly can as well, and sneak in an “exam” every time without asking, of course charging you more. The wait staff is both rude and condescending, especially if you’re paying out of pocket. I’d go elsewhere for certain!

I was a recent patient at this facility. Upon paying my bill, I noticed that it was higher than my husbands who was just cleaned a couple weeks prior to my visit. I was charged $45.00 higher. I was told this is because I had an exam as well. I never asked for an exam. I was scheduled for a cleaning.I told the dental assistant that the lady who did my prior filling left an edge on my tooth that consistently cuts my tongue. She than brought in the dentist to look at her prior work. She saw her mistake fixed it and was on her way. Mind you I already paid out of pocket 500.00 for these fillings. This should have been no cost to me. I would have had no problem paying the exam amount if they were upfront about it. To me it felt like they were trying upsell her "exam" which she didn't do and had me pay extra for her time which was literally 30 seconds. Ridiculous. None of the personnel had any professionalism, when I tried to explain my situation. The snootiness of staff was unbelievable, Customer service is not their priority. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Strict policy against children? How is this woman still in business? Dentist refused to even do an evaluation, not dental work, just the talking part, because I had a sleeping baby in a car seat. The Dentist made a SCENE in the waiting room in front of other patients because I had a sleeping baby with me she ordered me to reschedule and never to bring children again as it is against their business policy. I said absolutely not, no I will not reschedule, I simply will never do business here and turned to leave with my child whom I love and respect. She then got all huffy and even more rude as if the entitled you-know-what never had a person stand up to her out of self respect and respect for their child before. Then...oh yeah there's more...she actually stooped so low to hurl snide remarks at me as I was calmly excusing myself from such an abusive and undeserved situation. Yes, as I was walking out the door with my sleeping baby, her mouth was still going. As I walked away, I could still see her through the office window standing in the middle of the floor of her waiting room in front of everyone after throwing her little fit almost like, "Oops, what do I do now .. awkward!" I hope she was ashamed. She probably wasn't but she certainly should have been. She acted like I was supposed to be ashamed, of having a baby. She turned her nose up in disgusting at us like "eww...how dare u bring such a horrid creature in here" ...it was truly unbelievable. Again, this was in front of a lobby of patients, this was the Dentist not an assistant, and all I had done wrong? Show up with a sleeping tiny human. Such an utter disgrace this woman. I told the receptionist I had a baby when I made the appointment. If she had told me the Dentist hated being in the presence of human offspring so badly I certainly would not have wasted my time making an appointment. Instead I was verbally assaulted in front of other patients as I was standing in the middle of the floor in shock as this horrible woman was throwing me out of the dental office because I dared to have a sleeping baby in her presence. Terry Kinee is such a disgrace.

In a word, "un-impressive". I was a new patient to Dr. Kinnee and her crew, and I had just two visits with them in 2015, but I wouldn't consider using them again. Like most dentists, they started-out by tapping the insurance for almost everything under the sun, including full x-rays and cleaning, and then they promptly identified multiple things wrong with my teeth, from fillings to crowns and other high-dollar procedures that they felt I desperately needed. But the worst part was the poor quality of the dental work done and the complete lack of follow-up customer service, including their failure to honor their own work! Dr. Kinnee installed a substantial amalgam filling in one of my upper molars, which cracked and fell-out shortly after installation, and yet, when I phoned their office in considerable discomfort and pain, with the beginnings of a possible infection, hoping for an appointment to get Dr. Kinnee to repair the faulty filling, I was told that she couldn't see me for over three weeks! THREE weeks!?#@&?? When I asked why such a delay, her receptionist told me that Dr. Kinnee only worked TWO days per week and that all other appointments were filled by patients with routine procedures already scheduled. Cool! But I'm 65-years old now and I'm admittedly 'old school' in my views. When you screw something up, you should be prepared to stand by your work and fix the error, period! A patient who has already paid for your services, should not have to wait months in pain for what amounts to YOUR error(s).

I am a current patient and I cannot say enough about Dr. Kinnee and her staff, they make it as comfortable as possible for a dentist office. They take the time to go over your treatment plan and make sure you understand it. I would send anyone I know to her office.

Not a good experience. My husband went in for a tooth ache, they took xrays then he saw the Dentist, for a few moments, and was given a treatment plan for everything he might ever need done and that was it. They never asked about the tooth ache, although they did note the tooth was infected. My husband had to ask for a prescription of antibiotic - as they did not asked him anything about the pain in his tooth during the visit... We will not be going back, terrible bed side manner.

My family really likes this Dental practice. The wait isn't very long which is really great. At our old Dentist in Ohio, we were constantly waiting for at least 30-40 minutes at a time. Holly was our dental hygienist and she's such a sweetie and Dr. Kinnee is always fantastic.

Also I had an appointed set up to get my wisdom teeth out after they told me I have cavities when I don't... I know stupid me anyways I just got a call saying they dont do sedation that day... when I set it up with them.

I hadn't been to a dentist in close to ten years when I went to see Missoula General Dentistry. Not only were they easy to work with, they helped me get back on a path of great oral care. It's so important and until you go in you don't understand the importance of preventive maintenance on your chops. Teresa is my favorite dental hygienist and Dr. Kinnee and her staff are not only professional but a fun group to get to know. I'm happy and smiling, thanks MGD!

Making major policy changes and not informing patients!! Strict policy against children in the office!!! I know I will be finding a new dentist after my recent experience in this office!! I went in for my scheduled apt that I had made 6 months prior, just a routine appointment for a cleaning and exam. I had my 5 year old daughter with me, when I walked in. She went over and sat quietly on a couch in their lobby with her iPad while I checked in. The gentleman at the front desk, who also happens to be the office manager checked me in for my appointment, I then walked over and joined my daughter on the couch. Where he then very loudly and rudely from behind the desks and across the lobby looks at me and goes you have someone to watch your child during your appointment correct right. I was caught off guard by this because never have I been met by such a question for having my child with me, so I said excuse me? And he repeated himself, so I then told him no. He proceeded to tell me that I was going to have to call someone in to watch my child or reschedule my appointment. Because they now had a policy against children in their exam rooms. I asked since when and he said January 1st of this year. I said don’t you think you should inform your patients of this, he said we are as they come in. I said prior to their appointments that they have planned their days around and are now being forced to reschedule. As I’m also a patient with braces and had to schedule two appointments around this to have my wires in and our. He states they have over 8,000 patients how do I expect them to inform them all before their upcoming appointments, so now this is also the office that sent me 5+ text messages to remind me of my appointment for almost 2 weeks prior to my appointment, how about putting a note in one of those. I asked if there could be an exception made since I wasn’t informed of this changed, was a single mom with no one else to watch her, and had planned my day around this, he said no and got rude, loud and was yelling at me at this point. And then told me he wouldn’t allow it back in the room! I at this point made it my mission to inform him my child standing next to me at this point, wasn’t an it! She was a child, a human being, a girl in fact. He then told me I was off the schedule, and I told him I wouldn’t be rescheduling either! To make things worse my poor impressionable child asked me as we got in the car “Mommy wasn’t I being good?”, as my child thought for one minute this grown mans deplorable behavior was her fault! I will not be going back to ever! And I’m wondering if he was referring to my child as an it because she is biracial! Not an office I would ever recommend doing business with!!

The man in charge of scheduling had a personal problem with me. He was rude from day 1 and for one appointment i didnt recieve a call beforehand like i request every time since i am homeless it helps me tremendously. I missed that appointment, and now he refuses to reschedule me.

Today I visited General Dentistry for the first time. I was so pleased with how professional and friendly the staff was. Upon having my exam Dr. Kinee explained everything that needed to be done and what my options were. She was very kind. In the past I have felt like I have been judged and looked down on because of the poor condition of my teeth. Today that was not the case. She made me feel like finally getting that million dollar smile is possible. Also, at the end of my appointment one of the gals sat down and went over my treatment plan and how my insurance works. This is the first time anyone has ever taken the time to do that. I am so grateful I found this dental office!

Horrible customer service, treat people a like disposable trash. They require a 24 hour notice of cancellation, if you cancel or dont show up for 2 appointments they kick you out of the practice entirely. I understand that no shows are frustrating, and I admit that I did forget about a cleaning appointment. I called and rescheduled, all was well. The morning of the rescheduled appointment my son got sick and I had no choice but to call and cancel. I called the office as soon as I knew I needed to cancel, at 7 am. I was planning on leaving a message because that's super early. But to my surprise someone picked up, I explained the situation and they agreed to take me off the schedule for the day. I had already made an different appointment for a crown that I desperately needed looked at. The next day I called them back and made sure that even though I missed the cleaning I'd still be able to come in and get the crown taken care of. The lady on the phone assured me that yes, I was still on the schedule. Fast forward to the day of my appointment for my crown, I come in at 9am when my appointment was scheduled and they inform me that because of my 2 missed appointments I was no longer on the schedule because I didnt give them 24 hours notice when I canceled. Seriously? How incredibly unprofessional of them to remove me and then not notify me of that. They require a 24 hours notice....okay what about my 24 hour notice? I drove all the way in on my to be told this information after being assured on the phone that I still had an appointment. Waste of time. Do unto others as you wish to be done unto you Missoula general dentistry. To top it off, this isn't even the first time I was kicked off the schedule without being informed and I stupidly went back and gave them more of my time and money. Please dont go to this office, they dont care about people. Only their bottom lines.

I rate the staff highly for professionalism, the hygenists are competent and caring, and I'm usually seen right when I'm scheduled. I cannot rate Dr. Kinnee as highly, unfortunately, nor does the staff deserve any credit for follow-up care. A phone call the day after a 3 hour procedure to see how I'm doing would mean a lot.
