Dentist Joni Richmond and her team are phenomenal. They make both the children and the parents feel at ease and welcome. My children both like that they get to go in by themselves and are talked to directly by the dentist. I appreciated Joni's approach to introducing the idea of orthodontics with my daughter. She was sensitive to the topic and addressed it in a manner that allowed us to discuss it as a family and not make my daughter feel bad about her teeth. Finally, Joni and her team are very supportive of Veterans and went above and beyond to thank me for my service in a big way. This was greatly appreciated and impacting for me and my family as it is a rare event. Thank you for your warm and professional services and personalized approach.

I cannot recommend them enough! The staff is friendly and extremely patient with the child being treated. The parent is allowed in the treatment room, which was very important to me. Dr Richmond also doesn’t push for anesthesia even if more extensive work is necessary, unlike other pediatric dentists in the valley.

I’ve been taking my kids here for years because of how well they responded to dental check-ups and treatments since the beginning of new baby teeth. The staff are great and all very friendly, my only issue is the last two times I’d been in with my kids (6 month appointment spacing) there has been a screaming and crying child patient in their office that I could hear from the waiting room. It wasn’t just screaming, it was like blood curdling crying that went on for what seemed like forever... My first thoughts during the second appointment was, “is this a sick joke? Do they have a screaming child soundtrack playing somewhere?” The chances of having to endure listening to someone’s little kid flipping out twice within a years time is slim, but for heaven’s sake, I was ready to start investigating myself to see what the heck was going on. It sounded like child torture. I’m surprised my kids weren’t too freaked out to stay for their exams. Maybe the office could play music to drown out the screams...?? Or perform their exams and procedures under anesthesia for certain small and scared/uncooperative patients to spare them and the rest of us!! I’m honestly thinking about switching dentists for my kids. The dentist is the last place I want my kiddos to have a bad experience with!

Such an amazing team! My 3yr old had his first time in the big chair last week and he was a rockstar- very much due to the amazing gal working with him. Prior to getting in the chair, she showed him all of her tools, let him touch and see what they did (complete with silly names for everything, which he loved). He got a full cleaning, flouride treatment and X-rays on his first big boy appt, crazy! Thank you Mariah!!! Everyone there was totally amazing, would recommend over and over again!!
