The waiting room is clean and attractive, the front staff are friendly and willing to work with you on insurance, finding the right appointment time and send you home with information regarding your visit for your files. The comfort of the patient is important to each of the staff and Dr. Teri. They take the time to do the job right, offering options and developing a treatment plan that works with the patient's schedule. A solid team of professionals.

One thing you will discover right away about Tere is that she has a passion for making all her clients feel as good as possible about their smile and how it affects their lives. She and I talked about what I didn't like about my smile, and she made some suggestions. There was absolutely no pressure from her to do it which I really liked. We did everything at my pace starting with braces. Well that took awhile to accomplish. Then came the thought of veneers. It took awhile but I finally decided to do it. Tere explained it all and I knew she had it all under control. Again, it was a long process, but it was so so worth it. Tere is not just a dentist, she is an artist. My teeth and smile are beautiful. Totally recommend Tere and her great staff. I walked in as a client and left as member of the family.

Arrived at 12:30 pm with chipped bicuspid that had an old amalgam filling. I left at 6:00 pm with an enamel/composite crown fully seated. 45 days later I am still very happy with the result. Everyone of the ladies in the office were polite, informative and professional. Being from out of state, I appreciated the prompt excellent attention I received.

Dr. Tere has a passion not just for good oral, physical health but also for empowering the patient with information to make decisions that make them simply feel better about themselves. In this manner we have fixed my smile, which had been altered with years of grinding my teeth down to all flat surfaces. She was the first dentist that made the suggestion that both protected the teeth and gave my smile some of it’s “geography” back. I love it. At the same time she and her staff see us every six months, do a gentle , detailed and complete cleaning and exam. Many of the issues we have do not get worse as we work as a team to prevent them. Those we have to fix are done before they get big and painful. My children are young and we also are encouraged to bring them in, get fluoride treatments and they even diagnosed my son’s reverse swallowing, which has since resolved. The office staff has helped us plan and schedule our procedures in a manner that uses our insurance in the most efficient way possible and kept our out of pocket costs low. We are very pleased with Dental Distinctions!

I was first directed to Dental Distinctions by another dentist when one of my front teeth decided to let go, let God, and leave me feeling embarrassed and in a bit of a panic. Dr Tere's graceful ways put me at ease at once, "Your smile (face) is how you interact with your world, and it matters." As a RN I notice and appreciate all of the cares and details Dental Distinctions attends to by listening to my concerns: numbing swishswash for cleanings, multiple relaxation tools (weighted blankets, music or movies, expert&gentle injections, and at times a reassuring pat on the hand to check-in with their patient's experience). From the front desk to their lab, Dental Distinctions practices excellence and beauty in their expert work and quality of care.

Great people! Never liked going to the dentist, and stayed away for 6 years. After cracking a tooth, I had no choice but to seek dental care. After getting me in right away to begin working on the cracked tooth, they easily took out a couple of small stains I had on other teeth that my past dental offices had failed to remove. On one of my recent visits I had extremely high blood pressure without any symptoms. I went to my healthcare provider and got the issue resolved however had my blood pressure not been checked at the dental office I would have never known how high it was! thank you for having such a professional practice!

I am EXTREMELY phobic when it comes to dental work--that's how I ended up with Dr. Nelson. For the past 15 years she has meticulously worked to help me overcome my anxiety and to improve the health and look of my teeth. Her empathy and concern for my anxiety and the attention to even the smallest details, like vaseline on your lips during a long procedure, puts her at the top of any list. However, she recently went WAY BEYOND the call of duty for any dentist. She informed me that I needed a root canal (possibly two) and that she would prefer I go to an endontist for the procedure. I burst into tears! The thought of going anywhere else literally terrified me. When I arrived at Dr. Reed's office for the first of two root canals, it was 4:30 in the afternoon--and Dr. Nelson was there, waiting for me. She stayed with me throughout the entire procedure, which lasted until 7:00 PM! She massaged my legs and encouraged me, distracting me every time I was about to hyperventilate or fall apart. I can't explain how reassuring it was to have her there, and she didn't have to be. She chose to be there for me, giving up much of her evening in order to ease the fear of one patient. I know it wasn't just because I have gone there for 15 years. Tere and her entire staff would do that for anyone. There is no better dentist out there. She is the best at her craft, and she is the best at making every patient feel understood, valued, and genuinely cared for. I will never go anywhere else as long as she is still in practice.

I went to my healthcare provider and got the issue resolved however had my blood pressure not been checked at the dental office I would have never known how high it was! thank you for having such a professional practice!

I am EXTREMELY phobic when it comes to dental work--that's how I ended up with Dr. Nelson. For the past 15 years she has meticulously worked to help me overcome my anxiety and to improve the health and look of my teeth. Her empathy and concern for my anxiety and the attention to even the smallest details, like vaseline on your lips during a long procedure, puts her at the top of any list. However, she recently went WAY BEYOND the call of duty for any dentist. She informed me that I needed a root canal (possibly two) and that she would prefer I go to an endontist for the procedure. I burst into tears! The thought of going anywhere else literally terrified me. When I arrived at Dr. Reed's office for the first of two root canals, it was 4:30 in the afternoon--and Dr. Nelson was there, waiting for me. She stayed with me throughout the entire procedure, which lasted until 7:00 PM! She massaged my legs and encouraged me, distracting me every time I was about to hyperventilate or fall apart. I can't explain how reassuring it was to have her there, and she didn't have to be. She chose to be there for me, giving up much of her evening in order to ease the fear of one patient. I know it wasn't just because I have gone there for 15 years. Tere and her entire staff would do that for anyone. There is no better dentist out there. She is the best at her craft, and she is the best at making every patient feel understood, valued, and genuinely cared for. I will never go anywhere else as long as she is still in practice.
