Expensive! My son chipped a front tooth, and it cost us over $600 and the tooth wasn't even capped. They said he was too young at 12 for a cap. They used some type of filler and then after told us he couldn't use his front teeth to bite apples and carrots and such anymore! I will never go back.

So far so good, have another appointment where stuff will actually be done. Had a bridge procedure done and they failed to take care of the nerve. Very unhappy with the procedure and wasting my time on several occasions. Staff was very pleasant and caring but the doctor misdiagnosed the treatment now I have to spend another 800 to fix what dr Melton failed to diagnose the first time.

I have had numerous positive experiences at My Dentist. First, the receptionist staff is always friendly and professional. Members of the staff or well groomed and helpful in answering any questions I may have about billing. The dental assistance and dental hygienist or likewise exceptionally professional and very pleasant. They are always quick to answer my questions and also are honest when they don’t know about something. the dentist that has done the work on my teeth at this clinic has done a very effective job. They are always quick to get me in to an appointment and they are always helpful when it comes to dealing with my teeth. I believe the pricing at this clinic is very fair and they have given me an option on at least one occasion for some type of a payment type of plan. While I have only been a patient here for a year I feel like the quality of the work has been superior.

Here I was looking for a great dentist place, then I remembered that I meet someone thru a mutual friend who is a dentist that works here, so I decided to call and set up an appointment. My first day here, I felt very welcomed. I filled out paper works and got attend to see a dentist. It had been a very long while since I've been to the dentist, so a lot of work had to be done on my first visit. My goodness, the exceptional care that I received was very satisfying. As I was getting work done on my teeth, they kept asking me if I were okay, making sure I'm not in pain. At the end of the day, one of the staff drove me home in my car because they didn't want me driving right away from the amount of work that were done on my teeth. Every visit back to the dentist ever since has been a smooth sailing. I always feel welcome. The environment is very calming and relaxing. They take exceptional care of you. I recommend My Dentist to every family because they make you feel like family. What are you waiting for?

My first visit was great. The people really seemed to care and the clinic is very nice and clean. However, when I went in for a build up before a crown, Dr. Melson hit my nerve. He didn't care and just put more anesthetic near the root of my tooth. He never spoke to me and proceeded to build my tooth directly on top of my nerve where I would bite down for the rest of my life. I experienced pain for a week before calling. I go in for an adjustment and leave with a prescription for penicillin. Dr. Nelson never once came out and spoke to me. He was on the other side of a wall and I heard him tell the assistant, "she's supposed to get a crown so I'm not going to mess with it." The assistant said that since it wasn't that bad when I came in (thank you ibuprofen), that I just needed to give it some time and take the antibiotic. I had already waited one week and now I've been waiting another. Two weeks after my build up, I am facing great sensitivity and my whole jaw hurts now too. I went in there in the beginning to get a decaying wisdom tooth pulled. Now I have wasted money, wasted time, anger, and still a freaking tooth to get fixed.

The assistants are very patient and explain to me my treatment and what needed to be done immediately and what can wait. Dr Nelson is very nice and gentle. I really enjoyed my hygienist she put my fears at ease. The Dentist was in a rush which I understand. I have used this office since they first opened. Today was an experience that will have me seeking a different dentist. At checkout the dark haired lady with chest piercing was rude. At first when she was explaining the billing to me I wondered if maybe she was just coming across like that. I went on to let her know the billing we have done for years asking if something has changed. She again was rude in explaining it. I said I would seek dental care elsewhere where they could work with me on crowns. She then said okay here is the copy of your paper have a good day with an irritated giggle. My family and I went there for annual cleanings, which was covered under insurance, received no cleaning, just an exam and told us about additional services we needed and the bill that would go along with it..They charged us $60 for something they said themselves that would be covered under our insurance. When I talked to them about it, the woman on the phone said it must've been a mistake and that she would take care of it since they told us it would be covered. Now its on my collections to be paid! I would not recommend to anyone!

Mark Melson is the worst dentist you can go to he doesnt do his job properly hes incompetent with his work and his staff too.. they lie about It's terrible that this situation has happened between my mother n I we both were patients And you mark melson we could of had another patient my sister she just entered the work force my mother on 2 occasions had serious issues with her teeth it was emergency issues first one was on a Friday called in morning nobody could help her had to go to another dentist the next day Saturday morning And spent cash to be seen that dentist felt real bad for my mother The last situation was this passed Monday and again nobody helped my mother again had to go to another dentist Monday afternoon My mother was in alot of pain My mother is a diabetic on top of all this Maybe as a dentist and your staff should be a little more professional and do the right thing Instead of brushing your patients off and not caring if it wasn't for patients you would not have a business My mother and I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but this ridiculous and so disheartening

Horrible after 3 weeks and my temporary crown coming off 3 different times and cracking I would say absolutely do not I repeat do not use Dr Nelson!!! The last time my temporary broke I had to go to a different dentist and pay extra to have a new temporary made! Then when I went in to get my permanent crown put on Dr Nelson didn’t even come in and apologize or check and see if the crown fit! He didn’t say thank you nothing! He will never touch my family’s teeth again! Beware of Dr Nelson! Horrible bedside manner!!!!Beware!!!!

This dentist office by far is the best dentist I've ever had. Whenever i have called with an emergency they have always accommodated me somehow. They are attentive and understanding of your pain and are eager to work out any payment options they have to meet your financial needs. They are my place to go for dentistry. I've been coming here for 3 years now and have never had a bad experience. If you haven't been to this dentist then go and walk in just to listen to the music if nothing else. I had an "old capped tooth gone bad" emergency and MY DENTIST in Springfield, Missouri worked me into their schedule to help resolve my painful situation. The dentist that put the cap on my tooth originally had retired unbeknownst to me. Because I'm one of those people that only puts themselves on the dental torture rack when they have too, I hadn't been back to my dentist for several years. By the way, I brush and floss two to three times a day religiously, but s*** happens. This bad tooth incident flared-up overnight and the next morning when I went to brush my teeth and floss, the second I rinsed my with mouthwash, which was at room temperature, my knees almost buckled from the huge amount of pain I received in the aforementioned capped tooth. I had to take my vitamins and prescription meds with warm water and I couldn't eat anything. Of course, when I called my dentist who had retired and closed his office, I had to go dental practitioner shopping. Luckily, via MY SMILE CARE credit account, the folks at MSC helped me find such an entity that accepted this type of payment in Springfield, MO which is forty minutes south of where I live. The local dentists, of which there are three, in the closest town to me other than Springfield, did not accept this particular type of payment. So, I called the MY DENTIST office in Springfield and the nice and cooperative folks there squeezed me in. Once I got there and signed-in, Dr. Kevin Pierce performed a root canal on my painfully capped tooth and all was well again. I was totally impressed with the modern and well lighted openness of the office and patient treatment areas, which was a far cry from all of the other dental facilities I had previously had to use in different states over the years. Also impressive were the new techniques and high tech equipment used to perform my root canal. The whole procedure wasn't nearly as nerve racking as other times I've had to utilize this type of facility. LOL Unfortunately, it took an emergency root canal for me to find MY DENTIST, but it all worked out in the end. Thanks MY DENTIST & MY SMILE CARE, Terry Shackelford

Right now, I'm laying here a week after 3 fillings and one of my teeth is in more pain than before. I say that because 1, that tooth never even hurt to begin with and 2, the dentist practically shaved a crater into the tooth! I have to use my pain medication from a different injury to make the pain stop and it is ridiculous! Yes this dentist did a wonderful job on redoing a messed up crown, as for doing my fillings I'm very upset and in very severe pain.

My first appointment and last. My appointment was for 10 am on a Friday. I arrived 15 minutes early as was requested to fill out the initial forms. After I handed them in at 10 am completed, no one said a word to me. I sat down and waited for 30 minutes and no one ever said anything to me. I am self employed and if I ever showed up 30 minutes late without so much as a heads up as to why I'm so late, I would never get the job. I find it totally unprofessional, rude and completely unacceptable that they showed no regard for my time. I had an appointment after this appointment to talk to a client and I would have been late if I continued to wait for them to get around to getting me in so I got up and left. Not a very good way to run a business.
