I love this office. Everyone is so kind and non judgmental. I have a lot of problems with my teeth, for a long time I was too anxious to even get my cleanings done regularly. Since switching to Legacy I have rarely missed anything. Dr. Darling is amazing at why she does and I love that she takes to time to show me my xrays/pictures etc and explain what exactly is going on and what needs to be done to fix it. I’ve been going to this dentist for a couple of years now and the service is just as good as the first time I walked in. Absolutely lovely ladies working there, super friendly and they treat everyone like an old friend. Such sweet people, and excellent care to boot. They show you everything they’re writing and explain it in plain terms so you know what progress you’re making and what will help you without any guesswork so you can have a real conversation with them about symptoms and problem areas. Always spotlessly clean and smells lovely— not clinic-y or sterile smelling but just clean. If you are someone who gets anxious about the dentist then definitely come try this place out.

I have been using legacy dental for 3 or 4 years. I have jumped around to a few dentist because I feel they tried to push extra services on me that I didn’t need. I like legacy dental because they tell you what’s going on and don’t pressure you to do anything. They are thorough and monitor problem areas with keeping track of progressive photos. They are friendly and I like my hygienist Carry- she is the best. They do send you a bunch of reminder texts and stuff but I think you can opt out and I need to reminders anyway. So yeah I like them and I feel they care about their patients. You can trust Dr darling.

5 Stars or A Hundred Stars Are Not Enough My situation is unusual but a great example of the extra mile this office goes too. I did not want to go back to my previous dentist. My daughter recommended Dr. Darling and Legacy Dental. I had a vacation trip planned out of the country and I wanted get a temporary fix to a huge filling I’d lost which was put in by my previous dentist. I contacted Legacy Dental; Nicole was able to squeeze me in for an appointment. Because of a medical issue I had to cancel that appointment due to medical testing. I’m having open heart surgery in 2 days. Because I would not be able to drive for 4 weeks I checked with Legacy to see if there might be a cancelation. I spoke with Brandon explaining my situation to see if I could still get a temporary filling before my surgery. Brandon worked some magic and I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Darling and her team. What I thought would be a temporary filling turned out to be a significant infection which could be life threatening during my surgery. This is a prime example of what can happen by letting your dental care go. At this appointment I worked with Jordan who did a great job getting x-rays and pictures. When Dr. Darling found the infection she immediately got in touch with my Thoracic Surgeon telling him about the infection. Dr. Darling herself did not have to contact my surgeon, she could have just had me get hold of their office. Dr. Darling wanted to make sure she personally let my surgeon know the details directly. My surgeon wanted 3 teeth extracted immediately. Dr. Darling’s office tried to get an appointment with an oral surgeon. Nothing was available so Dr. Cayo from Legacy stepped in to extract the 3 teeth yesterday. From the time I walked in yesterday morning being greeted with huge hello from Shanna and her warm smile I felt at ease. This time I got to work with Bre who also is fantastic and assisted Dr. Cayo. The paperwork with Crystal was very easy. Shanna and Brandon’s follow up making sure I was ok means a lot. I had 3 teeth extracted and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had with any dentist. In the business world customer service is very popular these days. This office takes customer service to a new level. Honestly, with every person I have met at Legacy I felt more like family than a patient. If you have any apprehensions, fears of going to a dentist please visit Legacy Dental. I begin to perspire when I just look at the dental chair. I just had 3 teeth extracted without any issue whatsoever. From the moment you walk in you know this is different from most dentist offices. The staff is genuinely glad to see you - always happy (not fake), polite and professional. And that positive, friendly, caring attitude can be found in every person in the office. Honestly, I would hang out with these folks - they instantly felt like old friends. The dental assistant and dentist truly care about making you comfortable - and I’m not just talking about the chair position or television channel. During the entire visit it feels like they are being very gentle in every movement and giving you the utmost attention - rather than juggling patients in multiple chairs. I’ve never had this sort of pleasant experience at a dental office before. So far I’ve had cleanings, fillings and a crown and I actually no longer fear a trip to the dentist! Plus you get free teeth whitening trays on your first visit. If you are looking for a dentist or are tired of feeling like your dentist is basically a mechanic who is just working on another set of teeth, you deserve to visit Legacy.

I had an appt today and had a migraine. I asked if they had a pillow for my neck. It was wonderful. They furnished a pillow that Dr Darling had especially made for patients. I sat in comfort for the rest of my appointment. I even gave Dr Darling my e-mail, and she would check w/ the lady that made them. I loved the pillow so much as I suffer chronic migraines. She went the extra mile as the office does to make you you comfortable. I hope sometime in the future they would start using nitrous oxide because I really hate Nova cane.

This was, by far, the worst example of bad dentristy! I've had two visits so far and they... were... amazing! I mean all the ladies at the office are so friendly and sociable. What kind of business is being run here?! Every other experience I've had with dentists have been painful, uncomfortable and downright awful. Just like you might expect from most dentists. Oh no! Not Legacy Dental Care! My second visit was for a filling. I was treated with the utmost care and compassion. My exam room was small but had a television. What kind of dentist has TVs in the exam room? Malarkey! I was shocked when the doctor came in and was so polite and nice. She numbed my tooth to get the filling done. I couldn't even feel the numbing needle! The filling was done before an episode of Property Brothers had finished. After my procedure was done, I was sent to the front to settle up my visit. I was also given a welcome gift before leaving. Whaaaat? I can NOT recommend this practice to anyone who likes bad dentists. I CAN recommend this practice to anyone who wants gentle, caring, painless, professional and courteous dental care. Summary: Best dentist ever! Highly recommended!!!

BE CAREFUL! BE CAREFUL with their estimates! They charged me an additional $1000 for crown! They told me it’s because I reached insurance maximum, BUT they should state it in estimate before I make a decision of doing the treatment or not. They DIDN’T! They gave me a wrong estimate, pushed me to do multiple unnecessary treatments and charged me a lot after all treatments have been completed! REALLY DISAPPOINTING!!! I paid for trusting them. Hope you don’t. I chose them because I saw so many positive reviews, unfortunately it turned out to be the other way.

I was originally referred to Legacy Dental Care from my mother-in-law and am very thankful. They have a wonderful referral program that includes a teeth whitening program. I have been going there every since. The technology the office uses is up to date, the office staff is knowledgeable and professional, they have an automatic appointment reminder system that even includes text messages and in person phone calls, and a variety of dental supplies in office that can be purchased for oral care. The staff and doctor ensure comfort throughout procedures. I have been utilizing them for both my well check ups as well as my Invisalign care and maintenance. They are also very consistent with recommendations for screening and prevention for illnesses such as oral cancer. If you are looking for an office that also offers snacks, water, and coffee during your wait it is the perfect place. The waiting room is clean and family friendly. All around this office gets 5 stars. I would recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Darling‘s practice in St. Louis for 10 years. Every time I arrive for an appointment I am greeted by name, with a smile, and asked if I want something to drink. This continues to the chair where everyone is kind and courteous and still calls me by my name.Treatments are performed diligently, with upmost dignity, and with details communicated every step of the way. All the staff gets along well and interacts personably with you. You can tell a lot of time and effort have been put into making every client experience seamless and professional: from the auto-text reminders and confirmations, direct phone calls, to the earbuds the staff uses to communicate to each other throughout treatment, to the front office staff who schedule appointments and their super supportive billing & payment plans. They also seem to be using the latest industry technology, equipment and techniques which shows investment in advanced treatment. This is one top notch practice and I have recommended it to several peers and families who have continued coming.

The staff and doctors at Legacy Dental Care live up to their name: CARE. They are friendly, prompt, professional, and thorough in their care. I grew up in an era where going to the dentist gave me extreme anxiety--the painful pinch of injections not to mention the smell of the drill and the "spit" bowl which, despite all of my efforts not to, left a string of saliva to be dealt with. I have zero anxiety about putting my dental care into the hands of Legacy Dental Care. My last visit to have a cavity filled was painless and stress-free. The staff really takes time to make sure you are comfortable and calm and cared for. Legacy Dental Care you are knocking it out of the park!

The administrative staff were friendly and courteous, and one of them even gave me a formal tour of their facilities. The dental hygienists that cleaned my teeth were very thorough and they explained literally everything to me in plain terms. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. At the end of the session, Dr. Darling came in and treated me very professionally and courteously. All of the staff and dentists also treated me like a human being and not simply as a client, as they asked about my personal life, education, etc in a wonderfully appropriate manner. I was honestly surprised at the level of care and individualized attention they gave me, since I did not expect it, but it was a great experience! I was more nervous than my daughter who had a pretty good experience with Dr. Darling considering it was getting cavities filled. Because of this, my daughter is NOT afraid of going to the dentist. I love all the modern dental gadgets she has. Dr. Darling and her staff are just some of the nicest people to work with. They are ALWAYS friendly, helpful and easy to work with. I feel like I could just keep singing their praises all day long. We've moved around a lot over the last 20 years and of all the states we've lived in and all the dentists we've seen Dr. Darling is by far one of my favorites!! After going, I would drive a great distance to see Dr. Darling and her staff. Everything from making the appointment, to how they explained processes and what my choices were, to the cleaning was professional, thorough, and done with great care. Everyone was extremely friendly, the office was super clean and had a great feel to it. I will definitely be back and I know that I will be coming here for years to come.
