My dentist of choice since i moved to STL. The entire staff from admins to professionals are excellent. Until the other day, it was just routine visits, twice a year. While traveling i chipped a tooth. When i returned to STL they fit me in the same day and provided excellent restorative services too. The admin staff is welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Dr. Kim and Dr. Dan are great. (I have not met Dr. Bob, but since he started the practice i would assume the same.) They have all the latest technology and the "bedside" manor to be highly effective. I would highly recommend them to anyone. update Nov 7 2016: OK this time I chipped a tooth prior to work travel. the office staff worked hard to fit me in and Dr. Dan worked extra hard to repair my tooth and still accommodate the other patients. What a super team! thanks again for fitting me it and ensuring i was pain free for my work trip.

My appointments have been too quick to take advantage of their myriad of comfort services like movies, blankets, pillows, headphones etc, but not because they were rushed, simply because I only needed cleanings. She did a very thorough cleaning and exam and wasn't rough on my teeth and gums. I have experienced those cleanings before...ouch! They discovered a dental problem that I had had for several years, but other dentists missed. It could have been more serious situation if it had gone unnoticed. I can't say enough great things about this business. If you are looking for dentist in the Ballwin/Manchester/Chesterfield area, I would highly recommend them. I just moved here from out of state and my wife and I are glad to have found such a great and conveniently close dentist!

idk where to begin found this place on the net on accident i make an appointment to have a tooth removed i walk in and im instantly greeted and given a new Patient goodie bag then a brief tour of the place like i was a king or something, filled out the necessary paper work and had a chair within mins. The Dr. omg she was amazing. Dr Kim was the best dentist i think ive ever been to made jokes and made me laugh while i was there went out of her way to make me comfortable. the pricing was upfront clear and extremely reasonable. I felt no pain once the procedure began. I cant thank you enough for this experience Dr. Kim and all your staff AMAZING i will be back in the future.

I had a couple of fillings done today. I love the fact they stay open late to accommodate those that have crazy work schedules. Dr. John and his associate had such an exceptional bedside manner. I suffer from TMJ disorder and both of them made sure I had plenty of breaks during the 25 minute procedure to rest my jaw. They made sure I was comfortable and even offered me a super soft blanket to keep me warm and let me choose a Netflix show I wanted to watch during that time. They asked multiple times to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain too. I will be much more relaxed in the future knowing I am in good hands.

The ladies up front are so nice! They were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I have a little bit of fear going to the dentist, but the dental assistant and dentist did a great job keeping me calm during the whole process of checking my teeth and when he cleaned them! I can't remember their names, but they were very informative about what was going on with my teeth and reassured me that everything will be okay as long as I take care of what needs to be done. I looked at my teeth in the mirror as soon as I got to my car and I cried because they look 10× better! This was my first visit to Ballwin Dental Care. The people at the front desk were amazing. They made me feel very welcome and seemed genuinely concerned with my comfort. I was surprised that he did everything on my first appointment except the cleaning. He wanted to do everything himself on the first visit. Usually I wouldn't see my dentist until everything was finished. The "poking" of my gums was very uncomfortable. I had never had a dentist do that. It was like a needle going into my gum above every tooth. I hope that doesn't happen on every visit. Other than that short discomfort, Ballwin Dental Care far exceeded my expectations and all past experiences with a dentist.

Dr. Simonds gave me the alternatives, and it was easy to choose what I wanted to do to get it fixed. She was able to start the work, take the impressions, etc., to get it fixed. Such responsiveness! Had a cleaning and this was my first appointment with this office. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They took time to get to know me. That was an unexpected but welcome change from previous dentists. Nothing was rushed. They did a great job with the cleaning and did a gentle flossing. They did not try to sell me on extras NOT covered by insurance (example...adult fluoride and cancer screening rinses etc...). Also, they did not bring up the fact that my teeth are not perfectly straight and pressure me into braces. In fact they did not bring it up at all and that was very much appreciated. I feel that this dental office did an excellent job making me feel important and does not seem to put profits first. I hope they continue to do business this way!

They were able to get me an appointment in two hours and fix my tooth. Never in my life have I enjoyed going to the dentist, but this place is top notch. Dr. John and his assistant were polite, professional and most importantly knowledgeable. Expert practice: administrators, hygienists, and dentists alike are all very friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. This is probably the best experience I've ever had at a dentist in almost fifty years. Their service is spa-like, putting the comfort of the client first. For example, I was asked what my greatest concerns were, e.g., pain, time, cost, explanation, and then the service was customized to address those concerns. In addition, every detail seems state-of-the-art, whether it is scheduling, payment processing, x-rays, cleanings, or the procedure itself. Families, especially, will appreciate the individualized music, video, and toothpaste flavors during the procedure. You won't feel like a number in line here. In fact, it's a bit hard to leave. Yes, that's right. You'll want to stay and enjoy the people at your dental practice. When have you ever heard that?

After going to one dentist to consult about a broken tooth I felt hopeless and confused. I was told by the dentist I should consider implants and if not, he would need to do a complete over haul on the tooth that would result in the same price as an implant would. He reassured me with, "Trust me, I am a dentist. I think I know what I am talking about." The problem was though, I had no idea what he was talking about. I knew I was in need of a second opinion, maybe three or four actually. I did my research, looked online at reviews and quality scores of dentists in my area. Called around and spoke to many dental offices. After much searching, I felt that Ballwin Dental Care sounded like they would be able to fit my needs. Calling and scheduling was simple. The receptionist was able to have the doctor view my x-rays from the previous dentist and explain what procedures needed to be done all via email within a couple hours. The ladies were so sweet on the phone and were able to give me a quick estimate. It was three times as LESS as the previous dentist. So this was all great but I still had to arrive and give my most important and honest opinion about the procedure itself. I was going in for a root canal, post and build up. Yuck. The moment Dr. Bob introduced himself I felt more at ease. Both the dental assistant and Dr. Bob worked together in such great harmony it was a delight to see...(yes, even while getting a root canal). It was obvious they loved their jobs and they loved their patients. Dr. Bob was quick to tell when I was feeling uncomfortable and quickly took care of it. He was knowledgable and explained every part of the procedure...not in dentist terminology but in normal people language. :) The best part... After only needing a root canal and build up for this visit and not the laundry list of procedures the previous dentist said was needed, I walked out comfortable and confident that I had just found a great dentist. There was NO PAIN or discomfort AT ALL!! I was back at work and played my softball games that night. The only reason I thought about my once broken tooth was because I finally felt good about smiling again. Not being able to smile because of my tooth has been horrible. Its so hard to express yourself naturally with having to remember to hide the best emotion of all, being happy! I am smiling again and happy, so happy I found a great dentist. I would recommend Ballwin Dental Care to anyone who wants honesty and professionalism out of their dentist. They are more than affordable and can meet your needs on every budget. I am telling everyone I know to go there! I look forward to going back and having healthy happy teeth from now on!! Thanks Ballwin Dental Care! Annelise

Hard to believe I am saying I love to go to the dentist...but I do! I have been going to Ballwin Dental Care for about 20 yrs! I used to be scared to death of any dentist. Dr. Schrameyer and Dr. Kim have totally turned that around! Tiffany is also the best hygienist in the world! Katrina is a terrific assistant to Dr. Kim- and don't even get me started on the entire staff at the front - Genie helped me figure out how to pay for everything- Sharon never stops smiling and just makes you feel great and Angie is a doll and makes sure your appointments are managed. I know there are others that assist - I can't say enough about this dental office- I LOVE THEM!!!!

Just for an exam to look at one tooth was $116. Definitely going to find a place that's cheaper. I have a tooth that needs to be pulled they referred me to somewhere else to pull it. I was here 8 years ago and had three wisdom teeth pulled at Ballwin dental. The dentist I had before retired. I'm guessing dentist don't pull teeth anymore :(

Went in June 2017 for what was said to be a simple extraction. I was left with nerve damage. There is total numbness on the right side of my chin, absolutely no feeling on right side of my lip and no feeling in my gums on the right side. I am constantly biting my lip because I cant feel anything on that side. This has been a total nightmare for me. My speech has been affected because its difficult to open my mouth on that side. The only thing I have to look forward to is falling asleep at night because all day long is a nightmare for me . I have been back twice to be checked but came to the conclusion the doctor just could care less.
