Like many others, I am nervous wreck when I go to the dentist. I'm happy to have found Dr. Porter and his team in Columbus to do my dental check-ups and dental work (when needed). I had a biological dentist before, when I lived in California. However, I think the closest one to my area is in Nashville, TN. That's a bit too far for me to go. Dr. Porter is the closest thing I can find to a biological dentist. He is thoughtful, considers my concerns, and takes his time to explain things to me about my dental health. He uses the least invasive procedures when possible.

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Crane and his staff. They are genuinely kind, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. They make visiting the dentist a pleasant experience and NOT ONE out of some horror film. The hygienist knew I had a difficult time with gagging and X-rays. She brought me some salt to rub on my gums. Was the 1st time in over 50 years I didn't gag and choke. That was BEYOND amazing. If you are looking for quality dentistry I highly recommend Dr. Crane. He has risen above and beyond in my care which is complicated because of Lyme. You won't find that level of care anywhere else. I feel blessed.

While making the appointment over the phone, they take most of your information. No need to fill out all 5 pages of paperwork. The appointment schedules are full because of 6 month follow up appointments, but I received 2 phone calls asking if I wanted a sooner appointment. The staff is wonderful and Dr Porter very personable. I did not feel rushed nor did I hear quiet complaining of any kind. The office makes the patient feel appreciated and taken care of.

My husband called Porter, Singley, & Crane and was able to get a same day appointment for me. I arrived, filled out paperwork, and sat in the waiting area for about 10 minutes. Honestly I have always dreaded going to the dentist. It seemed like every time I would go, I needed additional work regardless of my efforts at home. I started seeing Dr. Porter about two years ago. He is absolutely exceptional. Since I started going to his office, I no longer dread going to the dentist. While being incredibly thorough he has a way of making you feel comfortable. He listens to your concerns and gives his opinion while also explaining why he feels it is the best option. My dental hygienist, Nikki, is 100% the absolute best. I have super sensitive teeth and she makes sure she cleans them very well while also being gentle. She is definitely an asset to Dr.Porter's business!!
