I will never go back to Back Bay Dentistry or refer anyone to them anymore. Their front office staff which deals with billing are the worst. They do not go over cost of procedures with you. I had dental insurance and not once did they tell me that my insurance wasn’t in their network when I provided the information. They would bill my non primary insurance first then my main dental insurance which seems like they doubling dipping to get paid. I thought I was going to pay maybe $40 or $50 for a minor filling for my son. Cost me $136.50 which is outrageous! Never again. They mainly want to cater to high end clients when their office is not that great looking. Wish I could give them no stars!!!!

This is the worst dental office I've ever been too! They wanna do extra X-rays instead of treating the one you came in to get seen about!!! Even tho you hurt worse at night the worst they will not prescribe any pain medication! I was not impressed at all! I do not recommend this dentist office to my worst enemy!!!

My daughter and I have been going to Back Bay Dentistry for many years. Dr. Miner and Dr. Parker are both excellent dentists for adults and children. All of the staff is friendly and attentive. My hygienist Reagan is especially friendly, helpful, and can really rock her amazing scrub uniform!

Back Bay Family Dentistry didn't let me know that their office isn't a participating provider with my dental insurance anymore before I have gotten my services. At least, have the decency to let me know as their patient. They didn't apology or anything. Now, I have to pay for my-usually-free-with-my-insurance preventative cleaning. I rated them and commented on their facebook page. You won't believe what happen next!! They deleted it! Very professional of them, isn't it?! It's time to find me a new dentist.

Left me in pain from a filling that they put in. Went back for a crown, told them about the tooth before they started and was told it would get better on its own. Hurt me with the crown procedure and just pretty much said oh well. When the pain from the filling became unbearable called to get some relief and was told they were not working on that Friday they had a spot on Tuesday. It was not a holiday weekend. That was on a Thursday. Went to another dentist that worked me in on the day I called, Thursday. Had to have a root canal to relieve the pain they caused with the botched filling. The facilities are not very inviting and they did not care about my pain. It is like the two dentists are mad at each other and one will not work on a tooth that the other has filled. It results in the patient losing and painful experience.

I visited Back Bay Dentistry a couple months ago for a problem tooth that needed to be extracted. I was told the fees associated upfront. I figured no biggy it was a simple extraction it wouldnt cost that much. The assistant did my xrays that I was paying full price for however she only took a xray of the one tooth so now if I needed more work done Id have to pay for it all over again. She said it was procedure. I have been to many dentists in the past. I have always gotten a full set of xrays and they are good for a year in most cases. Then the dentist told me I had to have it surgically removed. I felt like that was a lie and a way to get more money. I was told the $102 I paid that day would be applied torwards the overall cost of $300 when I come back to have it removed. When I called to set up a appointment for that I was told they wouldnt have a appointment for at least a month and I would need to bring 275 to pay for it. 300-102= 198 where is the xtra $77 coming from? I called affordable dentures. I got a appointment in less than a week. I spent about 45mins in their office. I got full xrays good for a year and it was a SIMPLE EXTRACTION!!!!!! They saved me unessacary pain and money. Back Bay was willing to cut into me when it wasnt needed to put extra cash in their pocket. Never again will I go there. Thanks for attempting to rip me off. I hope you enjoy the $102 you got off me for doing nothing but lying to me.

It was great, I had no pain during my extraction and very minimal pain afterwards. Everybody on the staff was very nice and was helpful. The only reason I give them a 3 is because the rooms were divided by medical curtains an not by walls, but all things considered I would definitely recommend Dr.Parker... Thanks R.Oliver

As a person that has had history with busted out teeth, cavities, and such, I don't like going to the dentist. For me it has always been like going to take a test that you know you will fail. With that said, I had my 3 front teeth pretty much busted out again by doing a face plant in the Mississippi mud when it was raining for a week during Christmas/New Years. (I am not from here) I read some reviews and thought "why not? Sounds ok". When I went in for my appointment I was pleased with how polite the staff was. The doctor that fixed me up, Dr. Miner, is top notch and also had a very good "bedside manner". I would recommend anyone to go see him and his staff because I know for sure that you will be taken care of. Btw, I had to pay $900, but it didn't take very long and the end result was excellent. I don't know how it will hold up, but I have faith in Dr. Miner's work.
