They charge you for everything I went for a cleaning and I have health insurance but they charge me a hundred and some dollars for others things and I had know problem with my teeth. I have never paid anything for a regular cleaning. Than I was getting bills stating the my insurance hasn't paid so I call them and they said the dentist office haven't sent them everything that they needed. I had to deal with this situation for months. Than they tried to get extra money from my insurance company by sending services in that I didn't have done. They didn't know that I was going to talk to my insurance company and we called them together and Melissa didn't I was on the phone. She was lying to them about the service I got than I spoke up, she was sharked and said she would write the remaining balance off. Don't trust these people because they are crooks. They will even they to charge you $75.00 if will don't cancel your dentist appt. within 48 hours. I will never go there again.

I really liked this office and Dr. Yu up until my appointment today. He finished my root canal and then said he can no longer be my dentist because I have Tourette’s. Sending me on my way with a temporary filling and left to find a new dentist ASAP to complete the crown.

My tooth extraction visit was so awesome with Ms Wendy and Mr Yu. This was actually an emergency appointment and they were so professional and awesome. Took them 10 minutes to pull my tooth and I did not feel nothing. These guys at this Dentistry are so awesome from the receptionist to the Dentist. Keep up the great honest and caring service.

Very impersonal corporate dentist office. You can't even call the office directly! There is no email listed I can find. I need to cancel my appointment for Tuesday, if you do. Notify then within 48 hours it's a 75 dollar fee. So I try to call the number listed on Google maps and I get sent to some other office that is closed. Liti the only way for me to notify them would be to drive to the office and tell them in person, or I get charged 75 dollars. The are so walled off from the customer it's crazy. I've never been to a business that you could not call the actual physical location to talk to someone.

If you need dental care, American Family Dentistry in Olive Branch is a great place to go. They are able to get you in quickly and are honest and sincere about what needs to be done. They develop a plan and give you a print out of the costs and what your plan should cover as well as what you can expect to pay. They'll answer any questions you have and get you in quick at appointment times.

First I want to thank the scheduling center for finding me an appointment when I needed it most. I had been up all night with a severe toothache. OTC meds were not able to ease the pain. Upon arrival at the Olivebranch location I was treated with courtesy. My wait time was short. I knew my pain was about to be over. Instead I met a Team that was not organized. Didn’t know where things were and did not know how to apply the BP cuff. Once the X-ray was taken, the Doctor stated I needed to see an Oral Surgeon. I asked if he could just pull it and again he stated I needed to see an oral surgeon. I asked if he could numb it for me and he said no. He gave me a referral and pain med and sent me on my way. I went to the parking lot and cried from pain and exhaustion. I called the oral surgeon and they were booked until 3/26. However, the scheduler at the oral surgeon said something I found interesting....the oral surgeon was only going to pull it!!! This whole time I thought my tooth had to be cut out. With all that, I called my former dentist and they worked me in. After prepping my mouth, my tooth was extracted within 30 seconds. Pain gone! Here’s my question to the idiot Doctor at American Dental..why did he say I needed an oral surgeon when I did not? Why didn’t he just tell me that American Dental does not perform tooth extractions? I’m glad I did not waste my time on calling around to fine an oral surgeon that may or may not have had an opening. When a patient is suffering, they need help. Not just a referral and pain meds just to be sent on their way. My dentist office did tell me that a lot of dentist are moving away from extraction as they do not make a lot of money of them. I’m very blessed that my now forever dentist treats his patients needs above anything else.

Canceled my appt yet got a text 2 days later to confirm my appt or I will be charged..so I call again to cancel ..the girl ( receptionist)who answered is rude she was when i called the first time. Might start looking else wheres..

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. They made my husband wait 2 hours to be seen and then left him with a tooth only half removed with exposed roots. They dr was inexperienced and rude. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The staff is amazing. The dentist is straight to the point, but is very thorough. He doesn't play about safety. I forgot my inhaler and had to go home and get it. Yup he waited on me, but without that inhaler he wasn't doing anything. I liked that because he cared enough about me and his integrity to wait. Colleen is an awesome assistant. Forgot the young ladies name at the desk, but she was very nice. My dentist experience has been changed from horrifying to very bearable. Thanks AFD! Macy is the best! I feel differently about going to the dentist now. I'm more comfortable and less traumatized. Thanks to Dr. Yu and Macy, I now look forward to coming to the dentist to see my progress.
