My daughter recently had her wisdom teeth taken out. It can be a bit scary for a 15 year old girl when her mother has to leave the room. My daughter felt very comfortable as the Dr. explained everything to her and the nurse administering the Anesthesia actually held her hand during the whole procedure. What a sweet, caring, lady!! He offered archaic advice, gave a prescription of a muscle relaxant, and exercises. More than a week has gone by since her visit, and her jaw is still locked after following his recommendations. He (or his staff) wrote me a garbled and unprofessional email about their treatment of her. We also learned that all of his great Google reviews are unfairly encouraged and biased by the offer of a free gift to customers for reviewing his services positively. BE FOREWARNED AND NOT FOOLED by those positive reviews, as we were!

I have always been apprehensive about going to the dentist for any type of dental work. I am experiencing tremendous pain and discomfort from my TMJ. I did not know of a TMJ specialist to see so I looked on the internet and found Dr. Adatrow. I made my first appointment for 12/6/2017. When I arrived at the office, the front desk personnel was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I did not have to wait in the waiting room long at all, like other doctor's office. His assistant, Haley, was a complete joy to be with me during my visit. We were so comfortable with each other that we talked about her newly being wed and that my daughter had also gotten married. They both had destination weddings and we had a lot in common on the places that we went. Haley asked me questions that I thought were important and I did not have to ask her about. She answered my questions and always asked me if I needed further information or any more questions. When Dr. Adatrow came into the room, of course my x-ray was on the screen, and boy was my mouth a mess. I have neglected my teeth and my health issues just compound my problems. Dr. Adatrow talked with me and was very concerned and very compassionate for my dilemma. I scheduled to get my teeth cleaned so that Dr. Adatrow can evaluate the next treatment steps that will help alleviate my TMJ pain. All of these positive reviews are a complete scam because this provider "bribes" clients with a free Kindle to write a positive review about his practice. I went to see Dr. Adatrow due to his impeccable reviews however, unlike many of these comments, my experience was HORRIBLE! I am not one to ever write a review however, I felt it was necessary this time. I went to Dr. Adatrow because I have a history of clenching my jaw at night and recently my jaw has been popping out of the socket while I sleep and locking shut. The staff at his office assured me over the phone that Dr. Adatrow was the doctor to see and that he would fix me so that I could be comfortable and get my jaw unlocked after it being like this for 5 days. I chatted with the dental hygienist and she took notes on my problem. Once the doctor entered the room, there was very little that he did. He looked in my mouth and told me I had a horrible bite (probably because my jaw is displaced and my teeth don't currently line up due to it... but he didn't feel that was a factor...) he told me that he would need to pull my back 4 molars on my lower jaw. REALLY?! He then tried to sell me on a new $2,500 retainer even though I already have a retainer that is custom made to my teeth to prevent the jaw clenching. I left the office no better than when I arrived. I received absolutely no help on my jaw lock and drove over an hour and 15 minutes one way to see him for horrible care. Though I am sure I won't be receiving a Kindle for my review, I feel its necessary that viewers know what kind of care you will actually receive when visiting Dr. Adatrow rather than the fake reviews posted.

Dr. Adatrow should delete "TMJ Center" from the name in his practice. My daughter's jaw was locked on the right side. He offered archaic advice, gave a prescription of a muscle relaxant, and exercises. More than a week has gone by since her visit, and her jaw is still locked after following his recommendations. He (or his staff) wrote me a garbled and unprofessional email about their treatment of her. We also learned that all of his great Google reviews are unfairly encouraged and biased by the offer of a free gift to customers for reviewing his services positively. I have always been apprehensive about going to the dentist for any type of dental work. I am experiencing tremendous pain and discomfort from my TMJ. I did not know of a TMJ specialist to see so I looked on the internet and found Dr. Adatrow. I made my first appointment for 12/6/2017. When I arrived at the office, the front desk personnel was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I did not have to wait in the waiting room long at all, like other doctor's office. His assistant, Haley, was a complete joy to be with me during my visit. We were so comfortable with each other that we talked about her newly being wed and that my daughter had also gotten married. They both had destination weddings and we had a lot in common on the places that we went. Haley asked me questions that I thought were important and I did not have to ask her about. She answered my questions and always asked me if I needed further information or any more questions. When Dr. Adatrow came into the room, of course my x-ray was on the screen, and boy was my mouth a mess. I have neglected my teeth and my health issues just compound my problems. Dr. Adatrow talked with me and was very concerned and very compassionate for my dilemma. All of these positive reviews are a complete scam because this provider "bribes" clients with a free Kindle to write a positive review about his practice. I went to see Dr. Adatrow due to his impeccable reviews however, unlike many of these comments, my experience was HORRIBLE! I am not one to ever write a review however, I felt it was necessary this time. I went to Dr. Adatrow because I have a history of clenching my jaw at night and recently my jaw has been popping out of the socket while I sleep and locking shut. The staff at his office assured me over the phone that Dr. Adatrow was the doctor to see and that he would fix me so that I could be comfortable and get my jaw unlocked after it being like this for 5 days. I chatted with the dental hygienist and she took notes on my problem. Once the doctor entered the room, there was very little that he did. He looked in my mouth and told me I had a horrible bite (probably because my jaw is displaced and my teeth don't currently line up due to it... but he didn't feel that was a factor...) he told me that he would need to pull my back 4 molars on my lower jaw. REALLY?! He then tried to sell me on a new $2,500 retainer even though I already have a retainer that is custom made to my teeth to prevent the jaw clenching. I left the office no better than when I arrived. I received absolutely no help on my jaw lock and drove over an hour and 15 minutes one way to see him for horrible care. Though I am sure I won't be receiving a Kindle for my review, I feel its necessary that viewers know what kind of care you will actually receive when visiting Dr. Adatrow rather than the fake reviews posted.

I took my mom there & she felt like she wasn't treated fairly. She had a 10am appt, but we got there about 30 minutes early, because she was a new patient. After we signed in & sat there for about 1 1/2 hours my mom got up & asked them why is it taking so long. They told us that we can't be seen until 11:30. About 3 more people came in after I did & they called all them to the back before her. Their appt was later than hers. So my mom said she never wants to go back there. I even called them back to tell them how my mom felt, but they still didn't care. No sorry, no nothing.

I started my treatment at the end of July last year. I needed a gum graft due to nerve exposure. I was nervous because I read the details of a gum graft online. The staff and Dr. Adatrow were very patient and explained the procedure and the time frame for each part. I started my treatment at the end of July last year. I needed a gum graft due to nerve exposure. I was nervous because I read the details of a gum graft online. The staff and Dr. Adatrow were very patient and explained the procedure and the time frame for each part. It took a couple of treatments for the graft to take and for me to follow specific directions. After the initial treatment, the office called to make sure I was doing ok. The staff was great at working around my work schedule and, at my request, texted confirmations for appointments instead of calling my phone during the work day. The paper was too black to complete, l asked....we had a printer problem. We jusy got a new copier blah, blah. Professional, l would have gone to Office Depot and had it copy . I met the Doctor after an hour wait to be seen for 4mins 46 seconds. Brittney was explaining to me about a treatent plan at this point . I was thinking to myself (wth)....l informed the Doctor of incomplete forms wasn't able to read. I was asked to pat $80.00 for consultant /services. She stated, if you have inurance or no insurance, this is our standard fee and we do not have office fee. Least to say, after, l left within 15 mins . Brittney called stating that my insurance would be billed for today services and l would need to pay close to 700.00 if l wanted to go further in my service. She apologize for her rude coworker interrupt our conversation and speaking in a tone unprofessional. I was looking foward in developing a great relationship and encouraging other to visit. ....where l could be treated. ...the Doctor was pleasant, l was suprise he didn't asked , If l had any concerns or comments. ...it's about completing treatment plan,why?

Most professional service I've probably ever gotten. I'm months in after doing 4 teeth implants at one time. It's scary. No getting out of that. But I experienced no actual real pain and suffering during the procedure. You can be knocked out while it gets done if you want to. So far I had a few pieces of bone graft move around. Seeing him today after one call expressing concerns. The 5 star treatment has not let up, months after the procedure. And several times in between. Go to this guy he's going to knock it out like a real Pro. Put whole sets of teeth in your mouth. I don't know where the price stands, but it was worth it.

Dr. Adatrow was highly recommended and obviously has great reviews, but my daughter's experience with him has been completely horrible. After two surgeries with him, one of which was completely unnecessary, she has been in constant pain, with her mouth completely throbbing daily. He uses so called sedation, but she felt everything. Now after seeking a true oral surgeons advice, we finally have answers. First off a periodontist should not be doing oral surgery, secondly if he recommends an apioectomy go elsewhere, they never work. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Also, one of the costliest ones. And lastly, he is so arrogant and full of himself that he does not listen to anything you have to say. So anyone considering this place please seek a second opinion.
