Extremely friendly staff! I took my very grumpy 2 year old for a check up and they were so sweet to him and fine with his tantrums. They made the check up short and sweet- totally painless! The entire experience is about as great as a kid-dentist appointment can go! I really appreciated that they sent the initial paperwork early so I didn't have to spend a ton of time trying to entertain my little guy while in the waiting area.

This office is very professional and friendly at the sametime. I took my Daughter Veda to her first dental visit and Kelly the LDA was so helpful with telling me healthy snacks and how to brush and floss her teeth. The Dentist cleaned my daughters teeth and talked about the benefits of fluoride for her teeth. I really like offices that explain the reasons and benefits for procedures. I will be coming back here every 6 months for Veda's teeth cleanings. I would highly recommend this company to any parent searching for a Pediatric Dentist for their children.

My two littles have seen Dr Julie for a few years. They are always treated well by Dr Julie & her staff. They always let my kids pick their movie to watch/listen to. The kids head back on their own, if feeling confident. If not, I am free to sit & be close by. When my kids have questions, they answer at their level. They always ask whether I have questions before leaving. Any detailed instructions are given on paper. Great experiences with Dr Julie & her staff. Highly recommend!

They were very understanding, patient, and confident. My son has sensory problems and every time we've been there, they were able to find ways to look in his mouth without him crying. We were referred to St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry from our family dentist due to a dental phobia of my then 4 year old. The staff were incredibly patient with her and allowed for multiple appointments to make her comfortable. Her dental needs increased to the point of needing sedation to address the issues and it was a positive experience and my daughter's teeth complaints have stopped completely. We recently brought in our 16 month old for her first appointment and the experience for her was great. My now 5 year old needed to accompany to the appointment so she could see Dr. Julie again. She also wanted to be there so she could help her sister not be so scared. The 7:30 am appointments are also super helpful for our working/daycare family.

St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry saved my sanity! My son, who is on the autism spectrum, couldn’t go to the dentist without sedation or a “papoose” jacket. It was terrible. The staff at St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry changed all of that! They were patient, so very kind, and treated us with care, understanding and most of all dignity. There was no judgment. They had actual strategies that they used to help my son deal with his fear, anxiety and sensory issues. We are still here 10 years later and my son has a healthy and beautiful smile. I am grateful for this place! I would recommend St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry to anyone - but especially those parents looking for a dentist for a special needs child. There are amazing! I can’t say enough!

Was very disappointed. First the office is in an old basement. Second the receptionist, though nice, was not so professional in manner or looks. Third, we had a billing problem that was incredibly ridiculous. Really awful on our end. I couldn't believe it, and we ended up being totally in the right - having paid, etc., but I had to send proof before they would leave us alone!

Very negative experience working with this provider (Dr. Julie Haman) and office staff at their Woodbury location (604 Bielenberg Dr.). Giving them one star was generous on our part. We brought our newborn daughter to this provider at the recommendation of a lactation specialist and were greatly disappointed with the outcome of the procedure. Six months later, we're still having a terrible time trying to get the office to issue a refund of approximately $600. In December 2018, the provider diagnosed my daughter with a tongue tie, which we agreed to have her address in the office. We paid for the full cost of the procedure at the time of service and was instructed to wait for a refund once the provider was reimbursed by our medical and dental insurance. A few weeks after the procedure, we were surprised to learn her tongue was only partially clipped by the provider as verified by our pediatrician, which really upset us because the provider said the procedure went "very well" and deliberately omitted the fact that the tongue was still in fact tied. Also upsetting was that the billing staff incorrectly coordinated my medical and dental benefits on multiple occasions, as stated by my medical insurance, which resulted in major confusion and unnecessary billings to both insurances. Nonetheless, the provider was paid three times -- once by us at the time of service and separately by each insurance company. I followed up multiple times with the office staff about the refund, but until this day--2 months after the last reimbursement and 6 months after the procedure--not one staff member including the practice manager is willing to provide an explanation why the check hasn't been issued. We have been patient dealing with the office but are now very dissatisfied and frustrated with their lack of follow through and inexcusable delay in issuing our refund. Additionally, we feel strongly it's unacceptable and unprofessional that the dentist was dishonest and led us to believe our daughter's condition had been resolved. Therefore, we have filed a complaint with the BBB and our state attorney general in the hope that the office will do what's right by refunding what's owed to us without further delay. We believe it's important to share our experience with the public so they are informed and aware of what could happen should they visit this provider in the future.

I was amazed at how well she handled my son and the way he responded to her. Hopefully, we'll get her each time we go back.

Found this place after looking for a pediatric dentist in the area. There office is clean and welcoming. They were very patient with my son and even before the appointment they sent out multiple reminders as a busy parent every reminder is much needed. My son loved being able to watch Netflix well they cleaned his teeth!

Love that they are so patient with my children. Very understanding of their special needs. Impressed how they will look at the whole family and try to schedule siblings together so we only have to drive one time. Also, enjoy that they talk to the kids rather than just the parents and meet them where they the kids the patient are at in receiving treatment versus pushing through even when patient may not be open to treatment.❤

I love, love, LOVE this dental office. Everything about it is wonderful. The decor is bright and friendly with toys for the kiddos. The kids get to pick a movie to watch during their appointment. The dental hygienist are always sweet, patient and kind. The dentist is WONDERFUL, she knows her stuff, shes efficient and does a great job with my 6 year old and my 1 year old. They have been able to get me in same day for an emergency and they help keep you on track for regular cleanings. My daughter loves going to the dentist. She doesn't care what they might have to do, she just loves going there. That means everything to me as a mother.

Both of my daughters just had their first appointment there this week and it was such a great first experience! Everyone in the office, down to the receptionists, technicians, dentists, all staff were just so warm and welcoming. Dr. Haman helped us through 2 difficult situations with our kids. One was a potential root canal. She was able to avoid that for us, and our son continues to do well. I would highly recommend this office for skilled, cost conscious and compassionate pediatric care.

Staff is overly friendly which came off fake and annoying. What made this place not recommendable is overpayments made by my flex spend account became a nightmare to get back. They denied getting the payments despite the insurance and I showing documented proof they received the money. Then they took forever (3 months) to give it back to me only after weekly persistence, having our corporate rep call their office, and threatening further actions did they finally give me money back!

St. Paul pediatric dentistry is a must for kids! They are amazing with my children (one of which has some mental health issues) . All of the ladies that work on my kiddos and all of the ladies at the front desk are so kind and knowledgeable! We personally see Dr. Julie, but we have also seen Dr. Carmen too. This place is top notch!

I am completely amazed by our first experience with Dr. Julie at St. Paul Pediatric Dentistry. For starters, we were able to schedule an appointment within 2 days of my initial call. Secondly, Candice at the front desk was super courteous and inviting! Last but certainly not least the Assistant and Dr. Julie were extremely calming and patient with Jacob. One last note I would like to add: At the time of our visit there was only one Dr. in the office. As we were her only patient I found this very beneficial in keeping my 4 year old from becoming overwhelmed.

My 1 year old daughter just had her first dentist visit. The entire staff were so welcoming and friendly, my daughter was all smiles! She felt comfortable enough to explore the waiting area, exam room, and even the chair! The visit was quick and easy, couldn't have asked for a better first appointment! Dr. Carmen is great! We also received a hand written card in the mail addressed to my daughter, which was SO SWEET! Nice touch!

My son experienced a bad dentist office visit prior to coming to Dr. Carmen. The dentist tried to extract some teeth and kept on giving him a shot, no laughing gas at all. He was crying. I was crying. At the end she said it could not be done at the office because he was not cooperating & recommended surgery. We found Dr. Carmen & her recommendation was to try again at her office with laughing gas because she thought a surgery at a hospital was too abrasive for that simple extraction, no infections. He just needed room for his new teeth to come forward. Dr. Carmen and her staff did it! My son was so relaxed

I had my first experience with Saint Paul pediatric dentistry today and I couldn’t wait to write a review. I have been pushing off bringing my kids to the dentist (age 4 and 2) because of my own negative dental experiences. I have been super nervous about bringing my kids to the dentist. I knew it was time so I decided to choose this clinic because my kids doctor recommended them. I had appointments for both of my children but unfortunately one of them got really sick the night before and so I called in the morning and filled them in. We all agreed to re-schedule him but I still brought my 2 year old. When I got there I noticed a sign that welcomes new patients with my kids names on them. Every single person there was so incredibly nice and welcoming. The receptionist interacted so kindly with my child (I’ve been to pediatric clinics that don’t surprisingly) and Dr. Sylvia Cuellar was amazing! So nice and informative. The coolest part was that I had three different people express concern over my other Son who couldn’t make it to his appointment. I’m so happy I found a dentist that me and my kids can be excited to go to.
