My wife and I have been there twice - the lady which is trying to tale image took her for ever I am not sure how many times I was exposed for radiation, unless you tell them prior 24 hours. you may end up advised not to visit their clinic. may be due to they are small clinic or i am not sure the real intention. . even if you inform them prior 11 hours. they were not able to accept our excuse. Anyway i would like to appreciate the front desk ladies

I’ve been going to Serenity Dental for a few years now. I am a bit of a baby when it comes to dental work (I don’t like it!) but I have to say that the hygienists and Dentist at Serenity do a great job. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why, and they do what they can to keep any pain & discomfort to a minimum. They also offer a warm wax hand treatment thingie – but being a big burly man I haven’t tried that yet (I suppose it’s nice :-) They also offer TV shows or movies to watch as a nice distraction while they are working on your teeth. Appoints are quick and easy to set up and I’ve yet to experience a delay when arriving. My only complaint is that occasionally there is a delay after the cleaning waiting for the Dentist to come in for the checkup, but with a show/movie playing at least you have something to do while waiting. I still am not a huge fan of dental work, but at least with a great place like Serenity I no longer dread going in for cleanings or filings!

Serenity Dental made my dental visit most comfortable as it can be. Its been 3 years I went to a dentist and infact I am scared of dentist, but now I love my dental visits to Serenity. Cleaning was so gentle and they performed full mouth xray and exam. I needed 1 rootcanal treatment and 2 crowns and 5 fillings, Got my root canal treatment last week and didn't feel a thing. It was like a massage, truely!!! I got hand warmers, nice movie, massage chair and the best dentist next to me, what else can I expect? Thumbs up !!!

I've been going to Serenity dental for 7 years now, always a great experience! Besides cleanings, I've had numerous other procedures - whitening trays, internal bleaching, fillings and a crown. The crown is on my lower front tooth, and I was very concerned about it matching properly. They did custom color and shading on the crown and it came out fantastic - a perfect match!! They are also very upfront and clear about pricing - never any suprises and costs are comparable with other dentists (Which is awesome because their work is definitely superior). We moved out of Woodbury a few years back but I still make the drive to Serenity because they are the best!

Every single person at Serenity Dental strives to make your experience comfortable from making the appointment to paying the bill. The teamwork and mutual respect among staff and between staff and providers is admirable. As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in over ten years before becoming their patient, I was very nervous. I thought I would be lectured and have a painful experience; however, it was just the opposite. The hygienist, dental assistant and dentist made me feel comfortable and took the opportunity to educate me rather than chastise me. Now my whole family goes to this dentist and each one of us comes away smiling after every visit. If you are afraid of going to the dentist or have just had bad experiences, try going to Serenity. They are friendly and ethical and will make it a pleasant experience.

My friends often get jealous that I actually enjoy going to the dentist but when I go to Serenity it is more like going to the spa...I am greeted with bottled water or tea, I get to pick a movie to watch during my exam and I get a moisturizing warm hand treatment! Their technology and tools are state of the art. I recently had to get a crown on a molar and they were able to do everything same day- no temporaries, etc. I would highly recommend Serenity Dental if you are looking for a great dental experience and you will see the difference immediately! My old son really enjoyed his experience too- it was cool to sit in the big chair, wear some fun glasses and watch a movie!

I gave Serenity Dental 3 stars because I had a variety of encounters with them. I've been to Serenity twice for cleanings and I enjoyed their hygienists as they are very friendly, gentle on my teeth, and knowledgeable. However, I'm not entirely sure the cleanings are as thorough as I'd like them to be. My teeth just don't feel like they've been thoroughly cleaned and were not brushed by them the last time I went in (with that spinning brush thing...I'm not entirely sure if that's a brush, but it feels like it and I usually get it done when I've been to other clinics for cleanings). In my most recent appointment, I was told I needed a root canal. Dr. Ellie spoke in "dentist" lingo so it was hard to understand, but I was also overwhelmed and scared to death (as this would be the most invasive thing ever done to me), which didn't allow me to clarify or ask questions in the moment. I'm sure I wasn't as good a listener after I heard the words "root canal" either. Regardless, I was shocked and it would've been nice if Ellie took the time to ask if this was my first one. If so, then to slow down and explain more thoroughly (and in English, please! :)). Dr. Ellie didn't know why my tooth was infected/dead, but just that it must've experienced trauma of some sort. She recommended a root canal and stated she could do it there at Serenity and it would be just one procedure and I'd be done (not to include the crown). I scheduled an appointment, but got freaked out and looked into it more and found an endodontist (a specialist in root canals) and felt much more comfortable with a specialist so I ended up getting my root canal done else where and choose a 2 step process instead of the 1 step which Ellie would've done. The reason for choosing a 2 step process is because I wanted a thorough job done on my tooth and if my tooth was still infected or needed more antibiotics after cleaning it out the first time, then there would be an opportunity to clean it out a second time before closing it up entirely. When I saw the specialist, she was able to tell me exactly what went wrong with my tooth and performed more tests/xrays - that made me feel much more comfortable and confident with the fact that I needed a root canal done. The Endodontist also prescribed me antibiotics before the procedure even started and afterwards as well. I can't say that the same level of thoroughness was demonstrated at Serenity. My experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. After my root canal was taken care of, I did go back for my crown. It was about a 2 hour process, which I wished someone would've told me, but I thankfully didn't have anything planned afterwards immediately. The dental assistant I had was friendly and Ellie placed my crown on for me. Both were fantastic. The crown feels smooth, matches my current teeth color, and seems placed on properly (only a few days old at this point). I received an email moments after my appointment about aftercare instructions, but I also would've liked to see the dentist actually communicate that to me as well (and have the email to reiterate only). Lastly, I really enjoy that Serenity is able to give you quotes on their services and literally tell you what insurance will cover and what you will owe. They do not hide their costs! This is rare to find in a dental clinic. I do also enjoy the hand warmers and t.v. shows I got to watch in between the crown making process.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I have had a lot dental work all my life. Serenity Dental is the best!!! Pain fee, relaxing and friendly. I have not has a bad experience yet and I have been going here for 2-3 years. The state of art technology is awesome. I have received 6 crowns and it is great to have them done same day! I would recommend this dental office to anyone! My kids that are 5yrs & 6yrs old also have no problem with comfort here. My 6 year old has had 2 filling and I don't think she knows yet that a shot has been given at anytime. She loves going here.

I've been going to Serenity Dental for a bit over three years now, and my only regret is not finding them sooner. They seriously know how to make people happy and comfortable. It may sound strange, but I feel pampered after I leave the place. How weird is that to hear about a dentist? Fantastic experience- I went in (last-minute, same day appointment) for a chipped tooth repair. They offered a more cost-effective alternative that wasn't even aware of. The results were AMAZING. She was so fast and skilled- she even made other adjustments to surrounding teeth to make it look better. Awesome experience- I feel like I got much more than I paid for!

I was sadly disappointed with my experience here. I came here with my daughter last August. The providers were unable to see her and referred her to another office for our concern. I never got a bill or heard from Serenity again after that. Today I opened my mail and had a notification from a debt collection agency. I always would’ve been willing to pay any fees, but never so much as got a bill or even a phone call about any outstanding fees.

I made my first appointment with Serenity Dental, despite the fact that I live on the other side of the metro in north Minneapolis, based on the glowing recommendation of a friend. It says on their website they do extractions, I just called. They do not do extractions, they refer that out to a specialist as it's more complicated but they do extractions for younger children. For all the high rating this was a disappointing phone call compared to their website. I will have to find a dentist that can actually do extractions.

I've been going to Serenity Dental for about 5 years and have found it to be a great practice. Darlene is my hygienist and she does a great (and gentle) job. She plays DVDs for me while I get my teeth cleaned, and the previous time I was in the office she had even written down what chapter the DVD was on when I left. The next visit she then asked if I wanted to continue with the same movie. Now that is personal attention!!! Dr. Ellie has made a crown for me and made a night guard. She is also gentle!! When getting more involved dental work done, I like to wear the warm relaxation gloves with lotion on my hands. I don't live near the practice, but my family goes to Serenity Dental because we love the way we are treated there. We aren't just nameless people who go to sit in a sterile environment, we are instead treated like friends and can lean back and relax in a pretty, spa-like environment while having dental work done.

Serenity Dental is amazing! I'm from the south and I've never received an experience like the one at Serenity. Typically, after a long day at work, you dread going to the dentist for a cleaning. However, the name explains it perfectly. The atmosphere and environment is extremely peaceful and relaxing! When you check in at the front desk. they ask you to pick out a movie you would like to watch. Once you head to the back, they ask you if you would like the hand spa treatment. If you're anywhere near Woodbury, Serenity Dental is a great dentist to work with. I've been seeing them for a few years now and the service has been excellent. They offer a variety of 'perks' to help a person relax during the treatments or cleanings and their services are excellent. The staff is always friendly and I've yet to have any issues with billing or my insurance. It's nice to see a dentist that cares and will spend the time talking through any concerns you may have. If you're in need of a filing or crown, not only will they give you the estimated out of pocket cost to you, but they can often do the work the same day. All things considered, going to a dentist is typically not a 'fun' thing for most folks, but Serenity Dental makes it a much more pleasant experience than most.

It had been almost two years since my last cleaning due to a bad experience with the dental cleaning process and billing. I was hesitant to going to dentist again. I then began to feel like I didn't like my smile and people noticed that I wasn't smiling much. I decided to take a step forward and search for a new dentist near my home in Woodbury. Serenity Dental had an impressive website and I liked seeing photos of the actual dental office. My first dental appointment was as expected with typical new patient paper work, X-rays and exam with Dr. Ellie. I was impressed by her thoroughness, details, and explanations of everything from what to expect during my upcoming appointments to the treatment plan-- they were able to estimate almost to the dollar. My hygienist, Darlene (who I highly recommend), made all of my deep cleaning appointments enjoyable. And watching Seinfeld during the deep cleaning made the time pass by. I barely felt any discomfort during any appointments. Darlene has a gentle, soft hand, but thorough. My mouth never felt better and I was comfortable smiling again. At a follow-up cleaning, she noticed my front tooth crown was cracked and brought it to Dr Ellie's attention (even though I wasn't due for an exam.) Dr. Ellie made me a shiny new front tooth crown with her fancy in-office crown milling machine. She matched it up even better to the tooth next to it than the previous dentist did. And it isn't as bulky either. I can't wait until the other one next to it breaks so she can redo that crown too! :-) Dr Ellie did a great job with my other fillings too--all tooth colored. I was happy to find out that she doesn't use the silver fillings. I am a typical man who is not into "natural" things, but I was happy to know that I would have the old mercury fillings removed and replaced with the nicer tooth-colored fillings. Overall, I again highly recommend Serenity Dental. Dr Ellie and Darlene are awesome, along with the rest of the staff. The office is very clean, well maintained, and up-to-date with technology. The office is tricky to find...there is a very small sign in front of the building along with the other offices in the building. On the flip side, there is plenty of parking.

I tried another dentist in the Woodbury area that had good reviews, but they ended up doing poor work. I had to get two crowns, one of them had to be replaced, and I had to get scaling done because of the work. I went to Serenity Dental after my experience at this other dentist, and I was blown away. The staff is courteous and friendly. They listened to my fears and understood my hesitation to get work done. The explained the procedures and the technology they used. When I got an email from Serenity Dental (Magnolia location) asking if I'd like to provide a google review of my experience, I stopped what I was doing and didn't hesitate to oblige...first time ever, by the way. Here's what happened. Over a period of just 2 days, I developed a case of the worst, most painful tooth sensitivity ever experienced in the known history of mankind. Just accidentally clacking my teeth together a little bit would completely immobilize me for a couple of minutes, and would hurt for the next hour. Fortunately, I was able to stay home from work because Easter weekend was approaching and I had Good Friday off. Even more fortunate was that the staff worked me in for Saturday as a first-time patient emergency appointment. When you read the bio page, it's for real. Dr. Cheng was wearing scrubs, had the whole surgical mask hanging around the neck thing...the messed up hair from a surgical cap, etc.; and was walking into and out of the reception and admin area up in the front, chatting me up like I was an old friend from college. It was majorly comforting, and I could tell he is the genuine article. Then, when I went back into one of the 'chairs of doom' (I'm scared of the dentist, obviously), Dr. Escobar examined my films and started taking a look at my crown. He said it looked like the bite had gotten a little off, and that the teeth were probably hitting together too hard, and that this had aggravated the nerve. He said he was going to grind it down a little, and then see if the pain subsided. If that failed, he said he'd have to schedule me for a root canal. It hurt so badly that I thought, "root canal at best...extraction most likely". With that said, here's what you need to know. I responded that I didn't think it would get better because of the severity of the pain. Again, he reiterated that a root canal is a one-way street. Then I asked him "What would you do if you were me...at my age?" He thought about it for a second and said, "I wouldn't get the root canal. I'd wait to see if in 2-to-3 days this isn't a lot better." Obviously, that demonstration of personal integrity was IMPRESSIVE. Then, on top of all that, Dr.'s Escobar's prescient insight and prognosis turned out to be 100% correct. Even though my tooth has the tiniest bit of sensitivity now (probably from damaging the nerve), the pain was 99.9% gone within 5 days, and was about 80% better in 3 days. People of excellence tend to cling together, and I cannot recommend these outstanding people highly enough. I hope they are continuously blessed, and always work to keep the most excellent spirit that exists over their office.
