I’ve had two appointments at Penz Dental Care now and couldn’t be any happier! The office is professional and inviting. The people are even better! Everyone greets you with a smile and friendly hello, and they provide excellent dental service as well. Dr. Penz took the time to make me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me to ensure I understood what they were doing and further steps for future appointments. The assistant Shelby was amazing! I’ve never had my dental x-rays done more gentle and efficient. I also saw Brooke for my cleaning and she did such a good job! As someone who hadn’t been to the dentist in 4 years I appreciate her patience and kindness through my whole cleaning. Overall my experience with Penz Dental is a 10/10!

Hands down Dr Penz and his Penz Dental Care is the ultimate location for all of your family's dental work here in Rochester. Dr Penz is a very knowledgeable and a highly skilled dentist with a terrific team of dental assistants, oral hygienists and all that. I had exams, X-Rays, dental cleanings, fluoride treatments done here as well as in for second opinions as I lived out-of-state for a while and all I can tell is that these people are extremely thorough professionals. Of note, his state of art office with its associates and Dr Penz will do all they can for your immediate care regardless of the time period of the day and with whatever the resources are and still provide the highest care. On a personal note, he owns his patients even when they are out-of-state and needed his evaluation and direction. Lastly but not least, thank you for all of your genuine efforts plus ethical considerations of sensitive issues some people may come up with. Can E.

Dr. Penz and his staff are absolutely amazing! They really do an outstanding job; I have dental anxiety and have never felt so comfortable in a dentist appointment before. I am very very pleased with the service provided. My first appointment was very thorough and comprehensive; Ana and Dr. Penz went line by line on my forms with me collecting information and building a detailed profile. During the first examination and cleaning all sorts of measurements of gums and teeth condition were taken. They even took my blood pressure! All my inquiries were carefully answered and I was sent home with detailed/easy to follow instructions for continued treatment. Christina was the sweetest in dealing with my insurance. I recommend Penz Dental Care to everyone!!!

I recently moved to Rochester from Canada and heard about Penz Dental through a Mayo Clinic brunch. As a previous dental hygienist and having worked with many dentists, I can assure you Dr. Penz does excellent work. He is conservative in his treatment planning and will not do work that doesn’t need to be done. He and his staff are honest, considerate, and efficient, and truly put the needs of the patient first. I am incredibly happy with the fillings I had done and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Editing this because I saw the hygienist today: 1/15/19. I love Penz Dental care! The minute you walk in it’s very inviting. You’re greeted by Heather, with a smile. Everyone, from the dental assistant Shelby to the hygienist Anna, is very welcoming. They explain everything in detail and answer questions quickly. Dr. Penz is a dentist that can put you at ease the second he walks into the room. He’s easy to talk to and explains everything in a way that is understandable. I fractured my tooth and he got right to the point as to what needed to be done with out adding extra confusing details. Anna made my teeth feel squeaky clean and explained to me that coming in for cleanings every 6 months would help me maintain the health of my teeth. 12/18/18. I hurt my tooth a little less than a week ago. I thought it was just sore but it didn’t go away and when I ate it was so painful. I messaged over the weekend to get an appointment and they were quick to respond Monday morning and got me in as soon as possible. The front is so welcoming and modern. I felt right at home. Heather greeted me and offered water. I was taken back quickly and diagnosed quickly. I set up my next appointment to take care of my problem tooth quickly. Shelby the dental assistant was so nice and Dr Penz explained everything easily. Thank you!

I do not generally have an easy time finding a dentist I like. In fact, I dislike dental visits intensely. We recently moved to Rochester from Wisconsin, and I dreaded finding a new dentist. I love this office! My hygienist Ana was great: patient, understanding, thorough and reassuring. Dr Penz seems equally understanding and thorough. I have not needed anything but this cleaning and exam yet, but I expect if I do eventually, I will come back. I have had several crowns and a lot of fillings in the past thirty years, so there is a lot to keep track of. But I feel confident Dr Penz's office will handle it well.

Seriously, the BEST dental office I have been to!!! I was looking for a new dentist and did a lot of research before deciding upon Penz Dental Care. The registration was simple but thorough.. asking about current medications, allergies, and illnesses; and forms can be filled out on-line or in person. Their office is modern and comfy and is equipped with cutting edge technology like digital x-rays and a unique tiny camera that can take a picture of any part of any tooth. As an added bonus, they also have tv’s and massage chairs in their treatment rooms. But that is not why I’m giving them 5 stars. I can’t say enough about Dr. Penz and his staff. Such a great experience from the moment I called to make an appointment. My visit was amazing... and no pain!!! The care, compassion, and quality can’t be matched!!! I’m never going anywhere else! Thanks for easing my nerves...who knew going to the dentist could actually make me smile (no pun intended).

Recently moved to town and I needed a dentist. I heard great reviews from a colleague about her experience at Penz dental. New patient registration was simple. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly regarding any questions I had on insurance coverage and their appointment process. They sent an appropriate number of appointment reminders via text and email, which was really helpful. The location of the office is perfect, right off 52 and 2nd street. The facility is very modern, clean, and warmly welcoming. The staff ensured I was comfortable the entire time. It was easily the most pleasant experience I've had at a dentist in 30 years. Dr. Penz has a clear mastery of his profession and, as I know nothing about dental medicine, he was able to convey information to me simply and concisely. He has a very friendly and compassionate demeanor, I was definitely in good hands. I never thought I'd say this about my dentist, but I am looking forward to my next visit.

I switched to Dr. Penz over a year ago and the whole team has been very welcoming. Everyone is super friendly and makes me feel very comfortable. A few weeks ago, I had a dental emergency and Dr. Penz adjusted his schedule so I could come in last minute to get it fixed. The whole team genuinely cares that I am comfortable and happy (which is hard to come by at a dentist's office). I cannot recommend Dr. Penz enough! This is the best dentist I have ever been to.

Dr. Penz and his staff are unbelievably thorough and personable! From the very beginning my husband and I were impressed with the professional yet approachable personalities of the staff. We had very little wait time for an appointment that fit with our schedules, which is impressive in itself. Dr. Penz and his staff took the time to get to know us and provided us with realistic recommendations to improve our health and never once tried to push unnecessary procedures or services. After two years without a dentist visit, the staff provided my husband with an incredibly thorough initial appointment, and scheduled a follow-up appointment at no charge, simply to ensure he is doing okay. We both agreed that we have never had this much face time with a dentist in our lives. Dr. Penz really takes the time to get to know you, your history, and your needs. We are in our mid-twenties and haven’t had access to great dental care growing up - Dr. Penz never once made us feel bad for our lack of past dental care - he even joked with me about my beer-bottle chip from college. :) We’ve never been so blown away by a dental experience.
