I found Krengel Dental to be everything you are looking for when you want the complete dental practice. Dr. Krengel is warm, friendly, energetic, charismatic and easy to talk to. He understands dentistry and knows how to achieve maximum success with minimum pain. Dr. Krengel is great at making my children feel so comfortable and at ease with going to the dentist. Yesterday on the way to a appointment to fill a cavity, my daughter asked me if we can make sure that Dr. Krengel will be her dentist forever. The technology is excellent and cutting edge. The staff is courteous and interested in making you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Krengel and feel confident that whoever goes will be happy time after time.

I place a very high value on dental care. For example, we told our kids that we would pay for dental care over college if we had to choose. When our kids live home after college, they have one rule: they must go to the dentist. Everything else is negotiable. We travel to Bloomington from Golden Valley to get care at Krengel Dental. Dental hygienists make or break a practice, and Krengel Dental seems to have very good hygienists who take a full hour to do a thorough cleaning. When it comes to fillings and other work, my husband is amazed by the equipment and the care he got for a root canal. I had a filling replaced that was so perfect I could not tell the difference between my old filling and my new filling! Finally, Dr. Krengel has taken the time to talk with our young adult children about flossing, etc. He took the time to show X-rays to a skeptical teenager that she really did have a cavity that needed to be filled. I just got advice on using an electric toothbrush. Dr. Krengel also referred us to a terrific doctor to have impacted wisdom teeth removed for our two younger children. Dr. Krengel seems to approach his practice as more of a vocation than a job. He wants the best for our dental care. He never seems rushed and is willing to answer questions either at the office or by email.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever been to! It's funny when you actually look forward going to the dentist, which is how I feel going here. I've always gone to Lindsey who is amazing, but everyone I have talked to at the office has been very nice too! Dr. Krengel is the best and he does a great job with listening to what you want and then recommending courses of action with your unique situation in mind. If you are looking for a new dentist, don't look any further just make an appointment here and see how great everyone is.

Friendly staff and really comfortable atmosphere! Alyssa and Dr. Pound are great, and make the trip to the dentist something I no longer dread every few months. They work efficiently and are very informative without being too high-pressure. The only thing that they really insisted that I do was switch from a manual toothbrush to an electronic one, and I am very thankful for that piece of advice. Another nice touch: I love the fact that they ask me what type of music I would like to listen to on Pandora during my appointments.

Dr. Krengel has been my dentist for the last three years and I have had nothing but five star experiences with him, his staff and his office overall. Reception is friendly, helpful and inviting. They call and text to remind of appointments and to schedule appointments, which for me is extremely helpful! The office itself is beautiful - it feels like you are walking into a home rather than an office. It matches the personality of everyone I’ve met at Krengel Dental, because they always have treated me like family. Alyssa, dental hygienist, is about as friendly and sweet as they come! And she is professional, thorough and very helpful. It’s not often you can actually enjoy a conversation while someone’s hands are in your mouth! Dr. Krengel is thorough, straight forward, smart and always answers all of my questions. He never seems rushed or annoyed by my questions and I really feel that my dental care is in great hands. The entire team is wonderful, and I don’t hesitate to give this five star review!

Needed a new dentist with my insurance and looked for spots nearby me with a large amount of reviews via Google. Called up this spot a month ago to schedule a time with my crazy schedule. Not sure when this place was put in but the ambiance when you enter is a pleasant mix of homey and work. Fireplace and very comfortable sofa were great to have during the cold season. Receptionist was helpful especially when I panicked thinking my insurance was wrong and I'd have to schedule yet again some where else. She found that I had the right kind after all and only waited five minutes before being led in for the cleaning/x-rays. The hygienist was very nice and I think the fastest, cleanest (people with glasses notice this more, seeing water spray onto their glasses and needing to wash them after) and most efficient cleaning. Met briefly with Dr Krengel and can't wait to come back for my teeth to be cleaned again by his team.

From picking the music to listen to during the appointment, to making sure I was comfortable during the procedure, I felt very looked after. My dentist knew my needs before I did. The technology is current and enhances the experience. If you have anxiety they have options to relax you like music preference, laughing gas and scented oils. I usually HATE the dentist all the way through but actually loved my experience with a Eva and Dr. Krengel. I call 24 hrs in advance of my availability and they were able to get me in. I hadn't been in two years so I was prepared to be lectured about it, but they were super light hearted about it and just said we get but maybe not to do it again. I left in a good mood about my preventative care and opted to have sealants put on because of the extra mile Dr. Krengel and Eva went to explain it to me, etc.

"I never had great teeth growing up, but due to my bad experience with the dentist and orthodontist as a child I eventually stopped going. As time went on my teeth got worse and started falling out. It got to the point that I was unable to eat my favorite foods like nuts and corn on the cob. My girlfriend's daughter recommended I see Dr. Krengel for an implant consultation. I was reluctant to set up an appointment at first, but after meeting Dr. Krengel and discussing the procedure, I decided to do it. Although I wasn't thrilled about getting the work done, it didn't really hurt and everything healed within a couple of weeks. After everything was completed, I was finally able to eat food that I hadn't been able to in years! As reluctant as I was to see a dentist, I couldn't be happier with the results! I would recommend Dr. Krengel to everyone because of his patience, diligence, and knowledge of this procedure".

My son (12) and I just became new patients at Krengel Dental in January 2019. We were very impressed with the facility. It is comfortable, clean, inviting and full of what appears to be the latest dental technology. The staff was very kind and addressed any questions that we might have before we got started. Shelby and Alyssa were our hygienists. Although we had forwarded our latest x-rays, they gave us both a very thorough initial appointment exam and we had a discussion around some potential concerns. Dr. Roy came in consulted with the hygienist, gave me a nice little massage, provided his own examination, discussed some adjustments to our routines and sent my son and I on our way. Krengel dental has been my preferred clinic for years. Nowhere else have I found a office that is as bright, as clean, and full of friendly people whom will always leave you smiling every time you pass by. I'd name drop, but they are all awesome. When I or my kids have tooth pain, the clinic has been able to see me within a days time and fix the issue not long after. Be it cleanings, fillings, root canals, chipped teeth, or implants (had them all), Doc Krengel and his staff’s ability to take care of my teeth far surpasses my own, which is so important because I love to smile yet hate to floss. (do anyways, it’s a struggle) They're also very up-to-date with the latest in dental tech. For me, this is a life saver, because who wants to wait for crowns anymore? Everyone I have ever referred to them has also had the same awesome experience that I have become accustom to enjoying. Another great thing about these guys is that they have never tried to sell me any weird extra unnecessary painful cleaning services - Other clinics have tried and gotten irritated if not offended when you decline - Not these guys. It's a classy experience every time. Make an appointment, I am sure you'll be as impressed as I have.

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Krengel and his staff. Dr. Krengel is not only an amazing Dentist, he is also a wonderful person. He cares about his patients and their experience in his practice as a whole. His hygienists are fabulous. I would especially recommend Eva as she does stellar cleanings while also making time for fun conversation. Cheryl is amazingly helpful with any administrative and/or insurance related needs that you may have as you check-in and out at the front desk. Overall, you cannot go wrong by making an appointment with Dr. Krengel. His practice has grown, but his ego has not. He still treats people as people...not as dollar signs.

These guys are the BEST. I hadn't been to the dentist in many years and it was starting to show. I was embarrassed and terrified, but managed to walk in the door, and I'm so glad I did. He explains things thoroughly and takes time with each patient-if I have questions he takes the time to explain things, and then always asks if he has answered my question. I would recommend these people for sure - they've got a patient for life with me and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They are EXCELLENT!

Dr. Krengel is an amazing dentist and amazing person. He cares not only about your mouth but you as a person! I 'fell in love' with him and the staff on my first visit to the office. He remembers who you are, which amazes me, and important things about your life. He takes time to make sure you fully understand what he is about to do in your mouth and I have been very pleased with the results (root canal, crowns...all the fun stuff!). He is also very willing to share about his life...and it is clear how important his wife and children are to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Krengel to anyone looking for some dental work! PS He is also quite good looking, with a great smile, which is always nice to see when you have to go to the dentist, my least favorite thing! :):):):)
