Been coming here for years. Usually okay. Other than a snafu where they told me something would be covered and It wasn’t. The fixed that issue. No problem. Today, I come to my scheduled appointment, no one is here. Weird! Called, no answer. Figured. Finally, 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment, the light turns on! I was just about to leave, I mean come on, I’ve taken time off work to be here, drove 20 minutes to come here. She brushes It under the rug that no one was here. I was inadvertently irritated. Long story short, I’ll save you the details, she gets my vibe that I’m irritated. I mean it’s weird right? A medical facility that can’t even open on time and they expect you to be? Anyway, she starts getting argumentative, telling me, things happen! But literally not even one employee was here on time. So I start getting irritated because let’s be honest, IM YOUR PATIENT. she continues to talk over me. Not letting me speak my peace, once again, let me remind you, I am your paying patient. I have worked at a large, 8 office medical facility. And let me tell you, no one is never there to not open the door for a patient. I asked to speak to the doctor, to let him know that my interaction here today was completely appalling and that the way their conducting their business, especially with the crying front desk gal that It has escalated to a point that It never should with one of their own employees when they are in the wrong. Granted.. I missed two scheduled appointments before.. BUT they never confirmed my phone number was still current when I made my appointment. So how am I supposed to know what phone number they have for me in their system? “There’s multiple and it’s also not our fault!” Blah blah blah. At my facility, all of our schedulers ask current patients making appointments to confirm their address, phone number, and current insurance before scheduling. How do you expect anyone to show up if you can’t remind them? Well they at least figured It out because here I am today! But now I’m leaving and never coming back. And may I just add, this is a small place. Everyone in the whole office could hear this woman arguing and talking over me, even the doctor. Unfortunately for his coward self, he never came up front to Calm the situation, and or stand up for his employee (not sure why he would anyway). Customer service is about serving your customers and patients and unfortunately no one here knows how to do that.
