Update: ***This is i believe only my third time writing a review rather it was good or bad so i apologize for how it reads. Any way i was contact by Gentle Dentistry (Kristen) to be exact and she listened to me to get a understanding of what happened. Like i said from the beginning it is my bill and i know it needed to be paid I just wasn't aware that if i didn't go get change because the front desk didn't have any that day it would have ended up in collection 10 days later. That impact on me right now at the height of trying to buy a home would be so stressful. Well she informed me of some key information that moving forward i will pay better attention to as well and set my account straight. I am very thankful of someone there being willing to listen to me and make a reasonable decision. There was training points on their end and mine. I pray moving forward i continue to experience the customer service that i received from her. I am not unrealistic in believing companies are going to be perfect. I do not fuse over things often i pride myself on not being a hard customer we are all human and mistakes happen. I thank them for treating me like my situation mattered. This has been my dentist for the last 4 years. They always seen to have issues with staff but i never care to much i understand turn overs but recently myself and my family were seen at the 42nd st location and i was informed that i had a balance of $40-$60 i don't remember the exact total but i was fine with paying it i only had cash so i gave them a $100.00 bill and the front desk staff informs me they didn't have change and if i didn't have another form or payment just pay it when i came back in for my fillings. I just called them to schedule my appointment for my fillings and was told the account was sent to collection 20 days ago (roughly 10 days after I tried to make the payment) so I asked to speak to someone about this after speaking to a lady in billings who seemed to not get my frustrations i got a manager on the phone who told me they have a new billing system and know it has a issue with sending things to collections without their knowledge and are working on it. She then asked me was that everything i needed (umm yea for you to do something about it). She stated it was nothing they could do now and i would need to call the collection agency. I will never go back there again im having my family records sent to me as soon as i locate another company. People don't understand the impact of collection agency the fact that its there no matter of me paying it reports badly and they have extra fees that no one at Gentle Dentistry seem to acknowledge. There has been so many things i let go from this place but this was the last straw mind you they put someone's whole custom dental trays in my mouth and tried to make them fit in until i told her it was uncomfortable the staff person got help and a gentleman got the correct order for her.

very prejudiced. trust pass me because I ask for pain meds I was in so much pain, so dizzy I can't drive so they called the cops and told me to leave. A year later I walk in make an appointment 3 days before the appointment. they call to verifying that I am coming to tell me they don't feel safe were trust passing you again. ( I didn't threaten anyone never said anything vulgar about anyone or to anyone but they feel unsafe or uncomfortable with me) ok cool .

Worst experience I've ever had at the dentist starting with the receptionist. I arrived and was told I owed almost $400 for a basic teeth cleaning which isn't correct and they obviously have yet to correct it even though I talked to someone a few months ago and she told me to disregard it. The receptionist asked me a question about my insurance then started talking to someone else so I stood there waiting assuming she wasn't finished. All of a sudden she looks at me and tells me I can go sit down I don't need to stand and wait there. She never gave me my ins. card back but I went and sat down anyway as she was clearly distracted. She then waddles in after I'm seated in my apt. telling me I forgot my card and be sure I don't forget it...time for you to look for a new job honey you suck as a receptionist!!! For future, acknowledge the fact that you have completed checking someone in don't ask them a question and then start talking to someone else..As soon as I was seated in the dentist chair a "director of the program" sits right next to my feet in this tiny little space (can't even call it a room) and watches the entire apt. I literally was lectured non-stop through the entire apt. about correct way to brush my teeth, floss, drink mouthwash and take care of my teeth. it was literally the entire apt. it was miserable no just general conversation just beating me over the head with what I should be doing. The dentist came in and was awkward, unpleasant and creepy. I acknowledged I heard what he was telling me and he still sat there just looking at me. I've never been more uncomfortable in an apt. ever! Will not be going back ever!!!!! Lot's of other dentists in the area, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

They were very informative about my procedure. They help me out with whatever questions I needed. They were also willing to help me out in spite of not taking my insurance. I highly recommend this Clinic. Will be back tomorrow.

Great clinic, they are very understanding of not only my disability but also my general anxiety towards dentistry. Hai, my hygienist, is very nice and accommodating. If you're anxious at all about getting work done or want to go to a place where you don't feel like they're rushing then this is the place for you.

DO NOT GO HERE! The doctor was quick and not very polite. He recommended I get 10 cavities filled (turned out I had zero). The dental hygienist was also quick and not thorough, although very nice. It seems like they just want to pump patients through for money. I went to another dentist and they said i have zero cavities and I only needed one filling fixed after full exam and x-ray.

Beware of this place!!!!!! I was their for a cleaning a couple weeks ago. They told me I had 7 cavities and needed fillings, $1800 expense. After getting a second opinion from a different dentist it turned out I had no cavities. Please be carefully of what they tell you... complete scam.

These dentists are diligent and take pride in their work. In addition to a sensitive, thorough cleaning, they'll offer you key tips that can prevent expensive problems. I used to get new cavities every six months--not so anymore. Melissa is fantastic. Best office of a dozen I've been to.

Oh my gosh, the people working at this office are wonderful! I had a painful emergency tooth problem the other day and when I called and spoke to Ryan at the front desk he told me to get in my car and get there pronto and they'd take a look. An hour later I was walking out of their office with problem diagnosed and solution given! These are the kindest people - if going to the dentist isn't something you look forward to - and tend to stay away, this is the dental office for you! Seriously there is nothing not to love about this office!

I have a long history of fearing the dentist, I don't mean I'm just a little nervous , I mean I would rather be in labor than go to the dentist, I can't explain the overwhelming fear I have but all I know is I feel like I'm having a heart attack each time I have to go. At gentle dentistry New Hope (Quebec) I have had only good experiences from the time i check in to having work done, they are patient with my irrational fear and anxiety and always make sure I'm comfortable. They do an amazing job with all three of my kids as well.

My 2 daughters and myself were seen today and were very impressed with the front desk people and especially Trayl and Melissa! After our previous dental office was a horrible experience this was so refreshing! One of my daughters has special needs and doesn't always have trust in people but she actually hugged Trayl when we left! He was so good to her and my other daughter had Melissa she made her feel comfortable! We are so happy to have had these two today!!!

The most annoying dentist office I have been to poor with all equipments .They gave me an emergency appointment for my six year old daughter who has three emergency teeth need to be taking care of , but my daughter got scared which is very normal for her age but the doctor (Leah loehndorf) decided not to treat my daughter and she said that it’s my child decision since when children age of six knows what need to be done for them . I never been humiliated as much as it was at this day, when all the doctors leave your child with pain and don’t care, if it was one of their children is it going to be the same ?? my question is this how baby get treated??? Of course she will be scared and it is normal. Very poor help from the above doctors .. got kicked out with a crying child.

I saw Dr.Weaver yesterday she pulled a tooth completely butchered my mouth. Drove back a hour to our pharmacy I dropped my prescription and it got wet. I tried drying it and writing over it. Apparently that's illegal. I told the pharmacist what happened. Dr. Weaver wouldn't even write me a new prescription. That place is a joke. And it's dirty there.

The young women at the front desk did not greet me and was socializing right at the front desk. The office seems too laid back and unprofessional as far as what I mentioned above. The hygentist I had was very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable as well as the doctor, he's funny. I'm not quite sure if I'll be returning if I do it'll be because of the hygentist I had today. I've been to one other location and it's the same there as well as far the front desk reps.

I have been coming to this dental office for about a year and a half. The staff is amazing. My dental hygienist, Melissa, makes me feel welcome by greeting me at the check in desk and promptly taking me back. She does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth without being too harsh on my gums. She offers me small tips on how I can improve my dental health like using an electric tooth brush, not brushing too hard, and ways to avoid coffee stains. Dr. Atme double checks to make I have no cavities or spots I should be brushing extra well. He is very kind and always has the patient’s best interest in mind. I have had terrible experiences in the past with other dental clinics but this one makes me enjoy coming to the dentist. I always leave with a smile on my face and clean teeth!

I brought my 2.5 year old son in after a fall that had turned his tooth slightly gray. The staff was great and so patient with him, even as we had to try 5 different positions to get an x-ray. One of the dentists (not the one he was seeing) stopped in and made him a little balloon out of a glove. All and all I thought they did a great job with my little one and, as the dentist predicted, the gray tooth went away after a few weeks. Thanks Gentle Dentistry!

I had a late appointment, at 5:50 on December 26th They closed at 7. The dentist filled four cavities in an hour. About a month later, I had severe pain and when I called, they said it should be better in 4-6 weeks (from the date of the appointment) At 6 weeks, I made an appointment and took work off To go back in because my teeth still hurt. The dental hygienist told me it can be sensitive for 6-8 weeks and I didn't even get to see the dentist. Now, four months later, my teeth STILL hurt. It would have been nice if they had taken the time to do it right the first time.

Horrible and super rude customer service!!! the appointment for new patient is gonna be after two months. I explain them, that my daughter is getting hurts and she needs appointment earlier. The young girl who was talking to me said, everyone who needs our service gets hurt and our schedule is full till September... If you don’t like it go somewhere else! Actually, the meaning of her speech, as I understand, was such: “We don’t care about your kids and their pain...” My daughter dropped her tears after her speech....

Honestly, this is one of the BEST dental place I ever been to. I live in south Minneapolis, but I ALWAYS try to come to this dental place because I love it so much and it worth my time to come here. Waiting room is always packed. I was forced to wait 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. After the cleaning, the dentist never came in for an exam because they were behind. Pretty disappointing considering insurance only covers a cleaning twice a year. Will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.

Poor Customer Service...Not going back Recently this place has gone bad to worst. They cancelled my appointment 2 times from their end and then called to let me know that my account has been flagged as standby and the next 3 appointments doesn't guarantee a dentist but will have to show up and try my luck....have never hrd so such sh** anywhere else. I AM NOT GOING BACK to this place and would advise people to stay away to save time.

Best place ever! I have not been to a dentist in 32 yrs due to fear. I now am completely relieved and have no fears whatsoever! I had 3 fillings done today and Tommy and Pa were the ones who took care of me and I have never been more at ease, felt safe and no pain! They are a fantastic duo! I can not BELIEVE the way this office handled my 3 year old princess' '1ST' time visit! She is absolutely traumatized! I wouldn't believe it if my wife didn't video record it! Please read all the way through! Thank GOD my wife recorded on her Samsung galaxy s9! Then, after reviewing the video, even after I myself STRESSING to the intake, AND my wife STRESSING to the female dentist that this was our daughter's '1st' visit ever, the lady treated our daughter as if she was a veteran patient! Doing absolutely NOTHING to relieve the stress of '1st' time, instead jamming equipment in her face with no explanations, or "here comes the birdy" etc... Without discussing 1st, After myself viewing this video, KNOWING how much we STRESSED '1st time visitor', We agreed to show the video to an attorney to take further legal action. This was TRULY a traumatic PTSD experience!!! We agreed that this can not go on unchecked!!! HOW MANY OTHER CHILDREN!!!!!!! Makes me wonder how many other parents went on without doing anything, not knowing WHAT to do!? How many people think to record a dentist experience!? I was comfortable with Gentle Dentistry from the time of making my appointment until seeing the dentist! The receptionist was very sweet and got me an appointment right away. I didn't wait long in the waiting room and the dental assistant and dentist were very nice and didn't leave me waiting in the chair, which I hate!
