Not gonna lie, I've hated dentists my whole life. Nothing but issues with every single one of them and i was really dreading this appointment. I have been going to Dental Health Associates in Alexandria for a few years now and have always been pleased. Yesterday, I brought our 4 year old in for her first dentist appointment. She is VERY shy and gets timid around people she doesn't know. They all did a fantastic job at making her feel comfortable and confident from the second we walked in thru the door. When I called and made her appointment, they gave great pointers to help "prep" her for what to expect. When it came time, she did great going back with the Hygienist without me and came back out from her appointment with the biggest smile. I knew just from my experience that they would do great with her but they truly go above and beyond!

Before my first visit, I had not been to the dentist in many years. The staff made me feel comfortable, they were not judgmental whatsoever. They answered all my questions, helped me decide on a plan of action, walked me through what insurance would cover or not, etc. When I had to go in for my deep cleaning, which takes 90 min and is pretty painful at the beginning, they were very caring and attentive to my needs. I would definitely recommend Dental Health Associates to anyone looking for a great dentist.
