My previous dentist had put silver fillings in between my upper left bicuspids, saying they wouldn't be visible. Well, they were quite visible when I smiled, so last February I decided to have them replaced with composite fillings. Dr. Boettner recommended crowns for the bicuspids and a replacement filling in the first molar. Immediately after getting the crowns, I had severe sensitivity on those teeth. I went back a couple times, and each time Dr. Boettner just shaved the teeth a little to improve my bite. Finally I got a second opinion, and that dentist said that the bicuspids had been "aggressively prepped" and the roots were very close to the surface. He referred me to an endodontist, and I ended up getting two root canals. Yesterday I started having pain in that upper left first molar that Dr. Boettner had replaced the filling on. This morning, Sunday, the pain was excruciating, so I had to go to an emergency dentist. They diagnosed an abscess (often the result of a poorly done filling), and I had ANOTHER root canal. What is the deal with this guy?! Of the three teeth he worked on, all three needed a root canal several months later. Go to him at your own risk!

Great experience all around. The staff and hygienists were very friendly and extra patient with my dentist anxiety. Dr. Boettner was fantastic - knowledgeable, professional and caring. I also brought our three kids (3, 4 and 5 years old) for cleaning and exams - they actually can’t wait for their next appointment. I highly recommend Bay Creek Dental!

I just got my teeth cleaned for the second time there. Everyone there has been very friendly and welcoming. They take their time to explain everything they're going to be doing and the purpose behind it. They offer educational instruction too. I have always clenched my jaw out of habit and learned a cool trick to stop myself at my first appointment. Overall, it's a great place!

This is by far the best dentist I have been to. The cleaning was extremely thorough and gentle. I also had to get a filling re-done and it was the first time I actually felt calm during a filling procedure. Well done, Bay Creek!
