Did a very good job on my teeth and the staff was friendly! They also do a good job of keeping patients engaged throughout the year and sending appointment reminders. When you visit you also get free cookies. Update: They have contests for patients to enter in for great prizes like snow throwers and tickets to events so that keeps me coming back to update my review. My most recent visit was great, staff remembered me and what we talked about last time. They did have Crest Sensi Relief toothpaste in the take home bag which I have found to taste nasty but that is not BC Family Dentistry's fault, guessing a new flavor will be in there in a couple months.

My boyfriend was the one to first find this dentist. They worked with him so much for all of the problems he had going on. They ended up paying half of his bill one time because of a mistake that ended up being his fault. They were just super awesome with him. Today I had my first visit with them and found out that I didnt have the insurance that I thought so, they gave me a free first patient visit because of it. Every person you meet in that office is just incredibly sweet and willing to help! I have most definitely found my forever dentist and I've only had one visit!

I have been very hesitant to go to the dentist as I had avoided it my whole life . I never once felt judged or talked down to after going to this office. My hygenist name was Beth Scheid . She never made me feel bad just helped me set up a plan to fix my teeth. The in office saving plan also helped to take some of the sting out of the price . Would highly recommend to all my friends :)

This office is seriously shady! My husband and I both went in for check-ups and managed to use our entire insurance benefit in one visit. I believe that they scheduled a number of unnecessary procedures just to make sure they used the whole amount. For example, I take excellent care of my teeth and the dentist wanted to fill 8 of them. He said I had two cavities, but wouldn't show me the x-rays and that he wanted to fill the other 6 teeth just "to flatten out the backs." What? Against my better judgement, I let him fill the two he claimed had cavities. Neither filling sits right in my mouth. My teeth were so uneven when I left that I had to start wearing a mouth guard every night to stop grinding, which I'd never had to do before. I went back three times to have them readjusted and, the third time, he told me that I was not welcome to return for further adjustment because he didn't believe me that they were wrong. My new dentist is replacing both fillings because they ARE wrong and do not fit right. I'm not the only person at my current dentist getting things fixed that were done wrong at this office. Beware!!

I took my 3 year old niece here this week...it was her first time going to the dentist. The staff was extremely welcoming as we walked in. Christie at the front desk made us feel right at home. Kylee is one of the best hygienists I have seen in the industry, she made cleaning so comfortable and easy, did not hurt the gum's which usually happens with other hygienists she is awesome highly recommend her I think most of us can agree that dentistry is not one of the Dr. we like to see, but at the same time it’s a necessity for our overall health, till now I always use to be fearful of going to dentist, but Dr. Adam Zaher and his staff has changed my perception, they go above and beyond, patient need is there priority, they answer all the question and concern politely and appropriately, some improvement can happen in billing, If I may suggest. After 2 crown and 5 filling I have absolutely special respect for all the Dentist doctor’s, if anyone think its an easy job, very wrong impression, it’s the Doctor like Adam Zaher who make it look’s easy, Thanks so much Dr. I admire what you do and how you treat your client’s, you have a wonderful staff please keep up all the great work you all doing in BC community.

i did rate this place 5 stars and unfortunately had to edit my review. I have been going here for at least 4 years and have always appreciated the quality of care. However, I was recently recommended a procedure for fillings on a couple of my front teeth. Not knowing any better I obliged as they have always been upfront about what my insurance would and would not cover and usually fillings were 50% covered. Then I get a bill for $1200 after I have the fillings. My husband informed me that he was offered the same procedure and declined it because of cost - so they informed him upfront but not me of how much it would cost. Lady on the phone said basically nothing they can do. Needless to say we are switching dentists for this reason. They will no longer get my or my family's business

Called and made an appointment for my mother for 12 pm on a Friday. Thursday receive a call confirming her appointment for 10 am. I know exactly what time I made my appointment for. If the office isn’t even competent enough to make the correct appointment then they can’t be expected to provide good service. Judging by the other reviews, I’m happy that I cancelled and went somewhere else.

Terrible experience, dropped a metal tool on my face and said "oops butter fingers!" Did not help me on my first visit, made me schedule an additional appointment to get my tooth filled because of a broken filling. Sent me a bill for more money even though I already paid a copay the day of my visit and they confirmed with my insurance that's all I had to pay. This is a in it for the money business not a place that cares for its patients. Never again will I visit them.

I have a six year old son who is somewhere between ADHD and autism. I called the office on a Thursday late afternoon after googling dentists in Battle Creek because my son had a tooth that HAD to come out due to swelling and a cyst on his gums. The scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Julie had called me to let me know that there was a cancellation and that we could come in early. When we got there they called him back and got a quick picture and x-ray of the area that they needed to work on. They worked with all of his wiggles and movements so well. While doing the extractions on my son, they allowed me to be right at his head and help keep him calm. We took breaks so he could relax and not get worked up. Everyone was so wonderful to him and his needs that it made this mom feel so blessed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I had two different appointments here but never saw the dentist. I only saw the hygienist. The hygienist was very friendly but It was very frustrating and disappointing to be told the dentist was too busy to see me two times in a row, despite the amount of work that needed to be done on my teeth. I was told I needed two root canals, I consider that a substantial amount of work. Yet the dentist never made an appearance to comment further. I was told that I had other cavities in my teeth as well, but when I pressed for further information I was told that the root canals were top priority. They did not fully inform me of all the work that needed to be done in my mouth. They kept me in the dark about all information that didn't have to do with the root canals. They also charge a ridiculous amount of money for their work. I was given an estimate for the cost of making the crowns for the two teeth that need root canals. They were going to charge an outrageous price just to get crowns made, that is not including the cost of the root canal procedure at the specialist's office. Overall, I was not impressed with the cost or service at this dentist office.

In all of my experiences with the dentist, I can definitely say that these visits have been the best and most professional yet! I have the worst anxiety, especially when it comes to visiting the dentist and I was surprised at how well the staff accommodated my needs. They have inspired me to be proactive and maintain good dental hygiene. If you are looking for a new dentist, Dr. David Long is the wisest choice :)

Got both of the wisdom teeth on the right side of my mouth removed. Kylee was the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She gave me the numbing shots and I honestly didn’t feel a thing, it was awesome! It can’t go without saying that she was beautiful, radiant, and smokin’ hot! (It’s a shame there was a ring on her finger ;)) The dentist, Dr. Park, did a great job and asked numerous times about how I was feeling or if the pressure was too much. It was nice that he was making sure I felt comfortable considering he was ripping the teeth from my skull. The woman up front who checked me in (Sarah) was extremely friendly and did her best to help calm my nerves before the extractions. All in all, 5 stars to the group at BCFD.

I came here thinking this would be my new office due to the reviews. The receptionists and staff was amazing, very warm, welcoming and helpful. However that was about the only good thing I can say about this office. The woman doing my exam was very friendly but took a good hour to do my new patient x rays. Never in my life has any dentist office taken so many x rays and I doubt it was needed. The equipment is old and the hygiene is questionable. I was told I needed a wisdom tooth pulled and that I had cavities. I've never had cavities ever and I had a bad feeling about the whole situation. I also didn't feel comfortable pulling my wisdom tooth out there. I decided to seek a second opinion from another office. I did not have cavities and pulling my wisdom tooth was optional, not something I needed. In conclusion, super friendly amazing front desk. Awful experience in the back. I feel horrified just thinking about that I was scheduled for filling two cavities I didn't even have. ***update*** I just got a bill in the mail charging me $75 for sending my digital x rays to my new office. Battle creek family dentistry are simply trying to make money off you, they don't care about their clients one bit. This shows in their response to my phone call informing them of the issues I've experienced. Their office manager removed the $75 fee but told me that she sees this as a great insult and that she feels as though I'm slandering their wonderful name. Needless to say, I'm mind blown.

The prices are out rageous and I have some of the best insurance you can get! The nurses are friendly and very caring. The dentist was wanting me to get my son's two wisdom teeth pulled and when he left the nurse said there was no use for that. The dentist (adam) is a friendly guy but his breath will make you want to vomit. I'm not even trying to be mean. The first time I met him I though "omg, you're a dentist and breath smells that bad. Then I went back with my children and my kids were complaining about how bad it was. I know it's rude to say that about someone but sir you will lose clients if you don't do something with your breath.

After a year of the dentist insisting I get a filling I got one and it later got infected. I had to take 2 days off work, go to ER and take medication to heal the painfull infection. If that's not bad enough the tooth that was infected is still sensitative months later. BC family dentistry refused to pay my expensive ER Bill or even refund my filling bill.

The doctors that work here are great and make you feel so welcomed and at ease. But on the other hand the billing staff and the office manager Julie are very unprofessional. I worked out a treatment plan and payment plan with the manager herself and we agreed on a certain amount. Then when all of the work got finished I was told I owed a different amount even though there was an agreement and set amount before I had any treatment done. My father and I tried to get ahold of Julie for mulitple months and there was little to no communication. Every time we called Julie she would promise us a call back or atleast some answers to why my father and I were both having billing issue and calls were never returned. Finally I just went into the office myself and waited for over a hour to talk to Julie and we looked though everything and found mulitple errors on their side that she did take off. Even after everything I am still told I owe over $200 when I just paid $250 over the $6,200 which was agreed on amount. If I was you I would not go here due to a lot of billing issues, shadiness and lack of communication. They will make an agreement with you just to get you in their chair and then send you a bill for things you did not agree to and then just ignore you for months just hoping you will pay it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

If going to a dentist makes you anxious, this is the place to come. They will keep you informed, PAINFREE, comfortable, are ON TIME, courteous and ensure that your dental work is cosmetically pleasing in addition to being well performed. I have bad memories from previous dentists that kept me expecting pain, but I actually was still waiting for the shot AFTER it had been done. They take extra care with their patients. I have never recommended a dentist before, but it's easy with Dr. Long.

I am just blown away by the rudeness of this office staff. They have no compassion in customer service; instead treat their patients like they are a collection agency. In the past I had dental insurance, came here for everything and there was no issue. We even got a candy package sent to our door from the office. I changed employers due to relocation and lost my dental. My last cleaning the office staff was incredibly rude, screamed at me across the desk to make sure I paid for my cleaning up front while the office was filled with other guest. I should have quit going than. I took time from work, drove an hour for this company just for them to yell at me about payment before I was in the chair. I’m sure there’s some bad eggs but even if you don’t have insurance you still need your teeth cleaned and checked bi-yearly!!! I returned yesterday because I had pain in my jaw. The same hygienist, Cindy, I had before, once again treated me poorly due to lack of insurance. This time I told her personally I don’t appreciate the shift in treatment. After I mentioned it to her, she apologized and continued. I need a crown and she told us to get the In Office Savings plan because after xrays and cleaning we’d be about at the same cost. With the saving plan we could get a better discount off my crown. She then suggested I make the appointment for the cleaning before the crown. We signed the I.O.S.P document and she wrote up the plan for the crown, gave me a copy but never mentioned I needed to sign that as well. Since we’re out of town, the following morning we decided to call for my crown appointment and get it scheduled. Not only did the 2 office staff working , Debbie the office manager no less, was quite rude over the phone. I couldn’t make the appointment because I didn’t sign the second document. I asked if they can fax it to me? No. Can you email it? No. Can I sign the original that Cindy gave me and send it to you? no. Can you mail it via post (cheaper than time off of work)? No. I kindly explained that I drive an hour and take time out of work. I also explained we’d be happy to pay for the 2K up front for the procedure if we can just get it scheduled. I was then told by someone who didn’t even see me during my procedure the previous day “you chose not to sign it, when our staff asked you. Not only was I turning the other cheek the first time they was rude, I was told regardless of the pain I’m in or the money we’re willing to put down as a deposit ,this staff is unwilling to exhort hospitality in their field!

The staff and doctors are very nice but the manager Julie and other office staff are VERY unprofessional. They will send out bills for over the amount agreed on and then wont call you back when you try to discuss the issues. Do not go here or you will get cheated out of your money and even get false reports on your teeth and the work needed to be done!

I recently went in for a cleaning and the staff could not have been better. The receptionists greeted me and answered all of the questions I had. The dental assistant that did my cleaning was super friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for better people to work with my teeth (espicially since going to the dentist makes me a little anxious) .

BCFD is amazing. All of the hygienists are so nice and will answer any questions you have. They all know your name when you walk in the door. Doctor Long does an amazing job and is very personal. If you're looking for a Dentist, this would be my first choice.
