Went in for a whitening procedure and everyone was very kind and professional. I had to call to get a picture of my insurance card sent to me and they were very patient with me. The dentist even gave me a cleaning free of charge before my whitening procedure rather than making me come for multiple visits.

Amazing staff. Very professional. Welcoming & efficient. My mother and I got our teeth cleaned today and I am also getting a root canal done by Dr. Al-Bender who is amazing & knowledgeable. I thought the root canal procedure was going to be painful and scary but it was not and that had a lot to do with Dr. Al-Bender calmly explaining everything step by step which helped ease my anxiety. Seriously this is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to, ever.

Before last week I had only ever gone to the same dentist since I was born. However, since they were only a pediatric dentist I had to stop seeing them once I turned 19 and had to find a new dentist that I could put all my trust into. When I found Sahara dental on google, I read all the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I planned an opening patient appointment to see if I liked the office and doctor. The building layout and location is cozy and warm, however that’s an irrelevant detail to how great they turned out to be. I saw Lira as my assistant when I first got there and she was very kind, listened to why I came, and offered me advice regarding my transition. She did a minor examination and took x-rays. While waiting for Doctor Naji to come in, he informed me that there was an opening for a cleaning if I wanted (which was amazing and thoughtful of them to inform me). When Doctor Naji came in, he was just phenomenal. He took the time to explain about the business as a whole, introduce himself, ask about my current life, and dental history. He then did an examination and was just overall very kind and thoughtful. He suggested work to be done that was backed up with proof and professionalism. Overall, he is a fabulous Doctor. Finally, I saw Zara who explained all my dental benefits in details and what my copays would be, even got freebees YAY , I would say that Sahara Dental definitely made me feel comfortable in my (forced) switch to a new dentist. I would recommend them to anyone else in my position or just looking for a new dentist. Overall wonderful service, staff, and most of all dentistry work. I will definitely return for all my other dental needs!

I highly recommend Sahara Dental! My front tooth unexpectedly broke tonight and I frantically searched for an emergency dentist. Panic set in when I realized it was Friday night and most dentists were closed. I was pleasantly surprised to call Sahara and hear they could schedule me immediately. Staff are incredibly courteous, friendly and supportive. The Dentist was knowledgable and honest, without being coercive, when discussing my treatment options. Everyone is very nice and the office is very clean. The hygienist is very good, efficient and quick. I've been a patient for about a month and so far I've never being told that unnecessary work needs to be done. Dr. Zaid Al Bender seems to know what he is doing, and he explains every step he is going to make. The receptionist is so nice and friendly, she smiles all the time and they both make going to the dentist enjoyable.

Went to Waltham dental yesterday to take out a wisdom tooth. The doctor left half of it in. I was in so much pain from my ear to my thoat was swollen. I went today to sahara dental and they did an amazing job it only took not even 5minutes for them to take out my tooth. They made me feel so welcomed and made sure i fault comfortable. Dr. Bender's work is second to none. He recently replaced an old veneer and it looks so authentic, one cannot differentiate it from my real teeth. Yes, his work is that good. Not only do they get to know you personally and by name, but they also have incredible customer service and incredible dental service. I got 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled out with expert precision and zero problems even though one of them was so close to a nerve and on the verge of breaking. No pain and in and out in 20 mins. This is a dentist's office that literally feels like your going to your friends house for a visit.

BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. My wisdom tooth extraction took all of 30 seconds! That is NO exaggeration. I couldn’t believe it was completed that quickly! The dentist was incredibly kind and put me at ease. He didn’t speak like he was above me(like some dentists and doctors do) and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything! Dr. Naji was very personable and answered every single one of my questions - even when I'd keep coming back to the reception desk after my appointment was over. I never thought a dental appointment could be fun, but I learned otherwise here! At the same time, he made sure to do a good job with my care and made sure that I was 100% happy with my procedure before letting me go. Even the other employees who worked with me were wonderful. It seems like people are very happy working there, which is something important to note. I highly recommend this practice!

Had a recent episode with some bad dental pain & found out my dental office in Watertown had been bought out by Dr. Naji's firm. I was very nervous about using yet another dentist as I have experienced some bad dental mishaps in the past, but grudgingly went ahead. Dr. Naji was very nice & friendly at my first meeting w him in Watertown and was very good at keeping me in the loop every step of the way. I had half a root canal there then planned a future appt a few wks later at his other office location in Malden to finish up. The next day (yesterday), I was feeling extreme pain in that same area & called his office in distress around 4pm as I really didn't know what to do. Since it was so late in the day, I had expected to have to deal w it until the next day when I was hoping he could squeeze me in somewhere. Surprisingly, he understood & really felt for my pain level and immediately had me come into the Brookline office yesterday evening aka the same day...talk about quick turn-around! The Brookline office is very nice & modern & the staff made me feel so welcome & cared for every step of the way. Dr. Naji was able to squeeze me in to be able to take care of the rest of the root canal on the spot to try to ease the pain. He was so kind and so professional and is just so good at explaining everything to keep you at ease the entire time. (Being able to distract yourself & watch Netflix on the pulldown TV is also a nice little bonus!) Although I did feel pain during the 2nd half of the procedure, Dr. Naji worked very well monitoring my pain levels & adding more Novacaine as needed. When we were done, I was definitely still feeling pain & anxious the pain wouldn't go away, but Dr. Naji helped made me feel confident that the procedure went well & to let him know how I feel the next day. He assured me the office would call the next day to check-in. Well, the next day came (today) and I surprisingly woke up feeling great..the best I've felt in a week! Sure, I am sore, but there is definitely a clear difference between sore and pure pain. I am so thankful Dr. Naji squeezed me in so quickly to take such good care of me and so glad to have found a new dentist in him hopefully for years to come! He truly is a dentist who really cares for his patients' well-being and goes over & beyond to make sure that you definitely know it. Highly recommend!

I've been to five dentists in the past two years, hoping to find one I felt comfortable with and who would give me the best treatment possible. I have finally found that with Sahara Dental Center! Although they are an hour from where I live, it is worth the drive to make sure I get the dental care I want and deserve. My dental health is too important to just settle for anyone who is close to my house. Their staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. I recommend this office to anyone in Massachusetts who wants the BEST dental care around! Thank you so much!

They send you text message alerts to keep you informed when your next available appointment is due Furthermore fast forward I was greeted well once I walked in. It was my first time in 4 years and the front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. At first very nervous, but seeing that the Staff has there degrees in dentistry from Boston University displaying gave me confidence Wow my first Visit was amazing. They were great, they took me the day I called. Gave me a bunch of options on which way I could go with two broken front teeth. And seeing it was cosmetic and my front teeth they cut the time in half I normally would of had to wait for a Denture! I would definitely recommend this dentist.

Sahara is a SCAM. They take MassHealth patients for a ride! I went to their dental office for a simple 6 month check up. They left me unattended during my appointment for almost 45 minutes, starting parts of the cleaning, then disappearing with the promise of being back "in 5 minutes." They disrespected my time and had no value for me as a patient. And then after my 3 hour cleaning, they asked me to leave them a 5 star review. The reviews for this establishment are FALSE. Do not trust any 5 star review of Sahara Dental.

Excellent staff, service, and awesome dental work. They have extended hours till 9pm and very convenient to make visits in the evening. While most dental hospitals close by 5pm. One more nice thing I like about them is they give the price estimate for any procedure instantly. Their email and phone notification & reminders are also excellent. Rescheduling is easy too.

This place is great! The best experience I have ever had at a dentist. I had an emergency and was in pain, I didn't have an appointment but they squeezed me in for X-rays and a quick diagnostic with only about a 10 minute wait. The dentist was SO nice, understanding, accommodating and genuine. The site is small but the hearts of the staff are definitely not! The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. Everyone was super nice. The dentist showed me my X-rays and explained everything to me in detail. Together we came up with a plan of treatment that was best for me. I have yet to go back to have the actual dental work done but for once I don't dread having to go back to the dentist! I have no doubt my next experience will be just as great. Recommend this place 100% if you have a dental emergency and/or if you're someone who doesn't enjoy going to the dentist. They're great!

Excellent & high quality service. The clinic may look small but their work certainly isn't. The staff are super friendly and are always there to answer any concerns you may have. The doctors are top notch and professional. I once had to be referred to a surgeon and my doctor in this clinic stayed in contact with me to provide insight and to make sure I'm being taken care of. Dr. Al-Bender followed up with me a few hours after the procedure, and did not hesitate to call me immediately when I needed some questions answered. I went for a second appointment, and Dr. Al-Bender placed a temporary cap on my one tooth to prevent the need for a root canal. So, I had a dental emergency at 9pm and Sahara was the only place that had a dentist accept to see me in 30 mins notice. I went in feeling a bit skeptical but everyone here has only been excellent so far. I’ve gone back twice, and I’ll continue to go to Sahara. The doctor including the staff are actually some fun people. I think this is the only dentist who’ll make you feel confident about the Whole tooth extraction process, that’s half the problem solved right there for someone like me who deals with a lot of fear about dental issues. They made me feel comfortable and patiently answered all my concerns/ questions prior to treatment not to mention the quality of treatment itself.

I had been having dental pain for a few days when I finally decided to seek dental care. It was on Sunday and it was columbus day weekend, so pretty much all dental offices were closed except for Sahara dental. I called to make an appointment not really expecting to get an appointment the same day. However, the staff was very accommodating and understood that I was really in pain and gave me an appointment to come in within a few hours. I went in to the office, and they were very pleasant and helpful. Additionally, I had problems with my insurance, but they were very understanding. They offered their services at a very discounted price, and I was in/out of the office within an hour pain free. Overall, I had a great experience, and plan to continue to get my dental care at this office.

I came here due to an emergency a few weeks ago and have come back a few times since. (I have had a tooth pulled, a cleaning, and a temporary filling). I have dealt with 3 different doctors as well as their assistants and front office staff. This place is hands down the best dental, best office in general. Every review on here is right. I have never met people so willing to help you in all aspects of your care from pain to payment. I never felt bad or embarrassed or that anything but my well being was a priority. I will and would recommend this office to anyone for all their dental needs. I really can't say enough. Don't put off helping yourself because you are embarrassed or you think you can't afford it like I did!

If I could rate Sahara dental higher than 5 stars, I would. I had a serious fear of going to the dentist which is now gone! My first visit was an emergency one, they were able to see me asap & extract a cracked wisdom tooth. It was out of my mouth before I realized what had happened. Dr. Naji is hands down the best dentist I have interacted with, and I am so super thankful. That being said, everyone I've interacted with at Sahara has been so professional and friendly! I never thought I'd be looking forward to getting a cleaning every 6 months, but I actually do. Lira is such a lovely person, and the cleanings I've gotten from her are super quick and SO thorough. During my cleaning today, they were able to fill a cavity on my front tooth. It looks amazing. I'm so excited to carry myself with more confidence now that I'm managing my dental health. Last September I had a terrible toothache, but I couldn't find a local dentist to help me in Worcester. A friend, however, recommended Sahara Dental in Boston, which was an excellent suggestion as it turned out. The center was able to arrange emergency appointments for me twice in one week. My dentist there, Dr. Albander, is competent and friendly and he diagnosed the problem quickly and treated it expertly. So far, I received a root treatment and crown for one tooth and a filling for a second. In addition, I got cleaned and whitened my teeth. Everyone at the center is exceptionally nice, and you will leave with the best smile every time. Another advantage is that they are open on Saturdays and Sundays!!

If I could give Sahara Dental more than 5 stars I would. I had a root canal started by my regular dentist on a Wednesday with the intent of having it finished by their endodontist the following Monday. Unfortunately I started developing pain a day or so later and by Saturday evening I was in excruciating pain. I knew I would not make it until Monday so I furiously searched for an emergency dentist that was open on Sunday. As luck would have it, Sahara was open and would get me right in. They sent me from their Brookline office to their Malden office where they had an endodontist working that morning. My root canal was finished in a flash with zero pain. While I was being patched up, one of the other dentists was chatting with my husband in the waiting room. The staff in both offices are incredibly nice and extremely helpful. It looks like I found a new dentist!

Not gonna lie, I was a little dubious by their self-appointed rank of 'Best Dental Office in Boston', but Sahara Dental has proven this title over and over again. First of all, their hours are amazing. They're one of the only practices in the city open on the weekends, which was how I found them initially during a wisdom tooth emergency. The office staff is top-notch, always welcoming and attentive regardless of how busy it is. I never have to wait more than a couple minutes before being seen. They also know you by name! I've never received such hospitality at a dentist before. Dr. Shuster advised against getting a root canal for one of my front teeth that had been bruised during a fall ages ago, and instead straightening and whitening with Invisalign. Now my whole set of teeth look better and the process only took a couple months. I couldn't be happier with the results. Cheaper, less invasive, and relatively painless. Shout out to Lira, who's been my dental hygienist since I started going there. She always takes great care of your teeth and is just the sweetest person. Overall a great experience, best dental practice for anyone in the Allston/Brighton area.

This has been my first visit but I left with an actual affordable plan that will work with my finances (something I've never experienced at any other office). I really recommend that you go there and talk with the doctor with any issue u have with your teethes. I have been working with them for almost 2 years and half. Sometimes, they gave me free things, such as last appointment when i got whiting for free without costing any single cent. Also, they never focus on where you are from or what your religion is; additionally, they treat everyone as their family. And they do their best to not charge people who have health care. I’ve finished everything with them and paid what i have to pay. However, they still text me to know whether everything is fine or not.

I highly recommend this place to anyone. Child or adult. Dr. Zaid took extra care of my daughter tonight who had to have an emergency root canal done, when no one else would. When I very first called there and explained my daughters story, he actually got on the phone with me and made me feel very confident. I drove a little over an hour and it was well worth it. He provided my family and I juice boxes and my daughter was able to watch Netflix while he was doing the procedure and it helped her to relax. Had my wisdom teeth taken out. I went to a different dentist before Sahara but they weren’t comfortabe doing my extractions because my teeth were really embedded. Dr. Naji at Sahara Dental was very confident in what he was doing and rightfully so. I had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted over two separate visits . The process was very smooth both times. My right side is completely healed and my left side is healing very well. I highly Recommend Sahara Dental with doctor Naji for any extractions.

Went in for a painful wisdom tooth but the dentist recommended going to a oral surgeon because the way the tooth was growing. Any other dentist would of just done the job to make the money. He gave me meds for the pain and inflammation to help me till I made it to an oral surgeon.

Pain started Saturday night by Monday morning I was almost crying. Whole left side of face hurt from nose to ear and down to neck. Had no idea what tooth it was. I need many choices for appointments due to life commitments and so googled extended hours dentist and found Sahara. They booked me right away and I only had a short time to be seen and they were able to get me into appt. , diagnose tooth, do root canal, apply temp, and get me on my way! I am now home, have had dinner (first food since Saturday) and am pain free! I could not tell which tooth was causing the radiating pain. Through xrays he knew it was an upper K9... he was right. Great job - I think I finally found a dental home
