Prudential Dental is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I have hated my smile for over ten years (because I broke my front tooth in high school) and every other dentistry pushed me to spend thousands on 8+ veneers, which I've always cringed at the thought of. Dr. Senatore reassured me that veneers were an option but not THE option. Before I made a decision on how I wanted to fix my smile, Dr. Senatore did a wax mold of what veneers would look like over my teeth in comparison to my teeth now and I realized it may not be worth it for me to spend the money on a whole new smile if I only was unhappy with one tooth. Dr. Senatore worked with me to get my smile the way I wanted it and the way we both thought it looked best with only one veneer over the fake tooth and some bonding to fill the gaps between my other teeth. Going to Prudential Dental was by far the best decision I've ever made and I've never had so many compliments on my smile in my life. Dr. Senatore is a life saver!!! ALSO, the staff is so kind and so amazing. You will not be disappointed! I've attached my after photo!

I was in this office twice last week! The first day (and my first time there) I went in for my semi annual cleaning. My hygienist was Lauren - I cannot speak highly enough about not only her great personality but also about her thoroughness and clearly good understanding of hygiene (and the mouth in general!). It was a great experience. Dr Senatore did my exam. He was also very thorough, sweet and a great communicator. He patiently answered all my questions, went through my X-rays and suggested follow ups. Which included a next day visit for a filing. The following day I went in for a painless, quick experience. I almost fell asleep during the filing! The staff makes you feel right at home. Today, almost a week later, I am in no pain or discomfort. I look forward to my next visit... Weird, I know.

I am very impressed by the knowledge and experience of everyone in this office. My hygenist and dentist make sure that my experience is comfortable. The hygenist clearly has the knowledge of a physician herself. She is, of course, clear that she cannot diagnose, but she clearly answered my questions with reference to published studies and probability. The dentist who treats me is kind, offering far more treatment options than my previous dentist had done. Furthermore, the technology in this office is far beyond anything I had seen before. More importantly on more than one occasion they have taken the time to explain my insurance benefits in detail and help me pay the minimum possible in all situations. 1st thing to note is that this Dental practice is under new ownership and, based on previous reviews on Yelp, it appears that the change is absolutely night and day. Dr. Gheddaf Dam has treated me for multiple dental issues from cleanings to fillings to a referral for a root canal. Let me tell you, she is the most thorough, professional, caring, giving and skilled Dentist I have ever had. The entire staff is professional and knowledgeable - from the front desk to the dental assistants to the hygienists. You can feel a happy, positive vibe as soon as you get off the elevator. Also, it's not a bad view of Back Bay while you're getting work done. I would 100% refer anyone I know to this practice. DO NOT let the negative reviews from previous ownership deter you. I'm hoping that Dr. Gheddaf Dam and her practice will get the proper recognition it deserves.

I have been going to Prudental dental for a year now and always have great experience when I got there. I did two of my cleanings there with Yana and she was really good and thorough and also the staff has been always so great and accommodating every time I have an apt. This morning I missed my apt at 8 am because of so much traffic and I was not going to make it on time and once again they were so nice and they told me not to worry about it and they would find me another slot!!! Great service overall!!! One last thing and most important I have been seeing Dr Gheddaf Dam for 7 yrs now, first at Tufts ( her old practice) and now at prudential dental and she has been great and accommodating and does good work on my teeth! Good job for the entire office and I would definitely recommend it to my friends!!

My only real complaint is that they take what feels like a grossly excessive number of X-rays to get a detailed view of your teeth. Every experience I've had there has been wonderful! The front desk staff of Jennifer, Courtney and Sun are terrific and so helpful with insurance and scheduling. The dental assistant, Jennifer and Claudia, work seamlessly withe the dentist and are very personable. The hygienist, Lauren goes a great job and we always laugh a lot during my cleaning. I also like that she takes actual photos of your teeth. One of which showed a cavity that didn't show up on X-ray. The above are all superfluous to the main reason I go to Prudential Dental which is Dr. Hamasat Gheddaf Dam. She is extremely well educated and knowledgeable but also very caring and patient. Explaining anything and everything, so generous with her time and she LISTENS. Her ethos permeates the whole of the practice and it is as though it is one organism. This is how I came to the practice. I heard a conversation that Dr. Gheddaf Dam, who is Swiss trained, had with two visiting Japanese dentists the gist of which was how in the rest of the world the use of onlays and inlays is the norm where as here in the U.S. it is all crowns. I had never heard of onlays/inlays before that day. It had always been "you need a crown". Why would you take away all that "good" enamel to do a crown when it is not necessary? Given the choice I would always take the least destructive option. Since that day I have finished an on going implant, had two incorrectly fitted crowns replaced and had my first ever inlay with Dr. Gheddaf Dam. I have told her I will follow her wherever she goes! If you doubt that you should know that I live on the outer Cape and travel a minimum of two and a half hours each way now!

Looking for a dentist I needed to build trust and Prudential Dental has earned it! As soon as the elevator door opens I am greeted by a clean and beautiful environment along with very pleasant front office staff. My cleaning was simply amazing! Lauren is a great hygienist and was also very helpful in answering my questions. I also discovered the “right way of flossing” which seems funny but not everyone takes that time to show right from wrong. She was great, she took the time to also show me the benefits of an electric tooth brush. My pearly whites are greatful. Scheduling is a breeze, the email confirmations work great for my busy schedule! Dr. Gheddaf Dam is an amazing clinician she has such a bright personality and has made me feel comfortable to talk about my concerns with my teeth. Having little insurance knowledge can seem scary until Jen and Son have taken the time to enlighten me of what I can expect for coverage. Don't trust the 5 star reviews. I chose Prudential Dental because of the good reviews I saw, but I now look at those reviews with suspicion. This place deserves 0 stars, but the 1 star is for the sweet dental hygienist (Juliana?). The dental hygienists do all the work. I went there many times, yet I only saw the dentist, Dr Adali, for a couple of min during my 1st visit, but never again. During that brief encounter, while talking to the dental hygienist about my cavities, in front of me, he told her when she checks one side of one's teeth, the other side didn't have to be checked b/c whatever cavities one has on one side will be on the other side. That raised a red flag & I knew I was going to get a second opinion about that. Dr. Adali didn't even check the hygienist's work after she did a scaling. Everybody I told this to said this was odd & their dentists were much more involved & suggested I look for another dentist. Furthermore, the receptionists are pleasant, yet not so efficient. I would receive incorrect info about my benefits & payments. For ex, one receptionist told me I would have had to pay my portion of the cost to get fillings done by the day of my appointment, although I was told ppl that it shouldn't be that way. I also received a bill for a procedure I knew I didn't get & when I spoke to the manager about it, she said she didn't see that. It was bizarre. Also, when the hygienist told them to schedule a specific appt, they would schedule for something else. I switched to another dentist who has been much more involved & explained to me the situation about my gums that I wasn't told about at Prudential Dental b/c Dr. Adali wasn't doing his job. When one goes to see a medical doctor, they don't mainly deal w/ the nurse & never see the doctor - at some point, after the nurse does his/her job & passes on info to the doctor, the doctor then speaks & examines the patient.

I've been coming here for over a year and it's the only dentist office I actually look forward to going to....ha! But actually, I love everything about this place. From the receptionists (Maylin is the absolute best) to my hygenist Lauren to the dentist Dr. Gheddaf Dam, everyone is so kind, patient and easy to work with. I've had multiple cleanings here, cavities filled, a crown, invisalign, etc. and it's always been super pleasant and I've never had any pain or anything. I will come here for as long as I live in Boston!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!! She is so kind, caring and smart, I always have the best experience working with her. Honestly, she is better than most dentists I've been to at other practices! My husband and I love this practice so much that even though we have moved away from Boston, we take the train in for our dentist appointments because we can't bear to go anywhere else. We have both been going here since Dr. Gheddaf Dam bought the practice, which was I think 6 or 7 years ago. I have had a few fillings replaced and an onlay done by her, and my husband has had fillings and an implant. We are so loyal because of her level of skill, training, and attention to details. The onlay she did on my tooth was beautiful, it feels strong and like my own tooth and has no pain. Dr. Gheddaf Dam was trained in Switzerland and taught as a professor as Tufts dental school before buying this practice. She is open about her reasoning when she recommends a procedure, what materials and methods she uses. She is conservative in the sense that she tries to preserve the live tooth as much as possible, but proactive when fillings are wearing out. I had minor tooth pain and sensitivity for years before coming to her, which now I don't have any. And this secondary to the skill, but she is incredibly warm and caring. I actually look forward to my dental visits to be able to say hello. Additionally, I also love my hygienist, Lauren. She is gentle and relaxed and puts people at ease. Under her coaching and recommendations for floss, wash etc., my sensitivity has pretty much disappeared and gums are healthier. Finally, everyone at this practice from receptionists to doctors is kind, friendly, good at their job, and it seems to be a place where people are happy to work, which says a lot.

Always a wonderful experience! Jenn is a most pleasant welcome upon arrival as well as the receiptionists i see sometimes at my appointments that they can accommodate as early as 8:00 AM! They always confirm the appointment 1-3 times and are so efficient to schedule the next. Not to mention VERY responsive when having a question or need to change something. Billing/insurance questions are quickly answered. I have 3 cleanings a year with Yanah who is beyond wonderful as my dental hygienist. She is so efficient, thorough, gentle and effective! I can't say better things about her! I highly recommend her. My DDM is Dr. Hamasat Gheddaf Dam and she is great! She runs a top notch practice with accredited experience. She ensures all details are addressed each visit and if there the occasional cavity she has me in-and-out without pain. I'm currently undergoing an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Hamasat Gheddaf Dam and as per her recommendations of the treatment, it is going really well! My teeth are moving in less than 3 months! Not only does this location offer great staff, cleanliness, great location on Boylston and an above par dentist experience.... they have a great variety of cosmetic services to offer. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area!!!

EDIT/UPDATE: I'm just disappointed. The Doctors doing the work are great and are very nice during their procedures. However the Billing Department and Admin. staff here needs to re-evaluate their procedures: Yet again, they surprised me with a bill that should've been taken care of months ago. When I asked previously if I had any outstanding balances, I was told in multiple appointments "No," even though I did. Overall I just have a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended) as I like the team doing the work on my teeth; however I will take my business elsewhere to a practice that can be more upfront with the financial situation and costs of services. --- OLD: As someone who generally fears going to the dentist, I always feel comfortable here; procedures are virtually painless. I say "virtually" because they're not always upfront about the costs of procedures, what they pay vs. insurance, etc. But the staff is usually very quick to resolve my questions or disputes -- and show that they really care about their patients.

My experience was truly miraculous with Dr. Gheddaf Dam (Dr. G) and her team. Unfortunately, after a car accident I have endured extensive dental work over a 20 year span. This included surgeries and reconstruction, and I have significant experience with dentists and can confirm this practice stands out among all others. I found my dentist FOR LIFE with Dr. G. She is an outstanding dentist whose main priority is to make sure you are comfortable and ensures you receive gold standard dentistry. It’s a relief to find a dentist that simply “gets me”; I think this is Dr. G’s special power. She intuitively understands your needs and listens to all of your concerns and informs you in a way that lets you know she truly heard you. She creates a plan with meticulous detail that results in a work of art. For the first time in 20 years I love my smile! She also went out of her way to accommodate my busy schedule and I appreciate this immensely. When she works with outside vendors they must comply with her standards of excellence (and mine) or their product is unacceptable. This type of service separates her from others and gives you that value added experience that results in perfection. And most importantly I was not a nervous wreck going through the dental experience (10 visits). I felt comfortable which is rare because I do not absorb anesthetic the same way others do but Dr. G was very thoughtful and consistently asked me if i was okay during my procedures. ON a personal note Dr G is a lovely person with a great sense of humor and a cheerful nature, truly a joy to work with. AND a major bonus lies with my hygienist Lauren who also gives the same kind of care with her gentle manner and wit. Her level of professionalism is second to none. It’s refreshing to find this kind of service, from top to bottom; everyone is incredibly caring, thorough and professional. I would highly recommend Prudential Dental to anyone looking for dental services. 10 stars!!

I am 4 months into a lengthy and complex treatment plan with Dr Hamasat Gheddaf Dam in charge and I feel like I could not be in better hands. I had a lot of questions leading up to the start of the procedure. Dr Gheddaf Dam and her staff were very patient with me, answered all my questions, and could not be more courteous. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into making any decisions. As a result, there were no surprises, I knew exactly what to expect for all phases of the lengthy treatment. I knew the estimated cost, expected recovery times, roughly how much time off would be needed, ways my day to day will be different, and much more. A lot of that was because of my endless questions, but they were with me every step of the way; providing detailed answers to my questions and being honest about things they couldn’t predict. After my first major procedure in the treatment plan, Dr Gheddaf Dam reached out to me personally to make sure I was ok and recovery was going as it should the day after. To this day I am still surprised that happened. She reached out the 2nd day as well! That kind of exceptional service I am not used to. It’s making this experience a lot better than I expected. Since my second major procedure in the treatment plan, there were various occasions when I needed to be seen on short notice. I would either call the office the day before or the morning of. Every single time, Prudential Dental Associates found a way to fit me into their schedule and work with me to solve whatever the problem is. I have seen every doctor at the practice by now, along with various assistants, who all provide the exceptional quality of service as could be expected from Dr. Gheddaf Dam. Even on last minute appointments, I have never been rushed out of a chair. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Prudential Dental Associates is the best multi-specialty clinic I have ever been to.

Initially had a decent experience. Then came the expensive root canal work. #1 I was initially steered towards the tooth replacement option...which was more expensive and took more time...instead of a root canal...which was recommended by several other dentists I spoke to for advice. Then I was quoted a price for post root canal work (root lengthening and two crowns) of $4500. Don't know if that's overpriced...but it's irrelevant. When I did joke about the high price the doctor joked back that someone needed to pay for his cars....which I do think is relevant...especially in light of his future actions. Anyways, I have a family friend with a practice in NH who was willing to do the rest of the work at cost, but I would need to drive an hour up to NH to get the work done...so he's not practical for other dentistry...I just wanted to get the expensive procedure done there. So I call the office asking if Dr Adeli can let me know if the other filings I would need to get done can wait a bit since I'm dealing with the root canal, just bought a house, and want to wait for a bit. I get an email back from his receptionist saying "he actually thinks that you should complete all of the work needed with the dentist you'll be seeing for the crowns" and he won't see me anymore. I feel like I've had similar conversations with jilted ex-girlfriends. Unprofessional is the nicest thing I can think of the say in regards to my experience with these folks....STAY AWAY. I will say the staff is nice and the hygienist is awesome...but the Dentist is what you go for right? And I'll ecco the other negative commentator's main beef...Dr. Adeli was VERY uninvolved, let the hygienist do all the work

I moved from Germany to Boston 3 years ago. I got recommendation for a dental office in South End. End of January this year I got a crown There. Since then my gum has been bleeding. The doctor couldn’t tell me the reason. She suggested me to get implant. I went to see periodontist from the same dental office, he gave me antibiotics. But it did not help. Today we went to Prudential Dental Associates. They are truly amazing. When Lauren Montana did x-ray, she figured out that the leftover cement for the crown formed horns that cut into my gum and cause bleeding. Lauren did also a fantastic job for my teeth cleaning. Dr. Richard Senatore is very competent, knowledgeable, pragmatic and pleasant. I can not be happier that I found them.

By recommendation, I started going to Prudential Dental as I felt my long time dentist wasn't properly caring for my periodontal disease. I walked into a beautiful office setting, greeted by a smiling office staff member, Jenn, who was very informative and made sure I understood what was/wasn't covered by my insurance. Lauren, the hygienist, was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and explained my deep cleaning to me thoroughly and what is required to get my gums healthy again. They use digital x rays and Lauren explained the pictures to me while sitting in the chair before proceeding with my cleaning. On another visit Dr.Senatore fitted me with a crown. He also was very pleasant and professional, making sure I understood everything during each step. It's the best fitted crown in my mouth. It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Gheddaf Dam during my visit. I now understand why everyone smiles in that office. She's very caring and values her employees. I would highly recommend this office, especially for anyone who may experience dental anxiety. If you click on the reviewer, you will discover that In a one week period "Jamie" also gave glowing reviews to four other dentists who were located all over the country, some in New York and in California. Who has a dentist in NY California and Boston, and gives them all boilerplate five star reviews in a one week period? She also gave five-star ratings to about 10 different fitness centers all over the country too. The same is true for "ola", "1999" and everyone else. BEWARE.

My experience dates from 2012 and although the staff was very friendly, I was left with the distinct belief that as an out-of-pocket payor I was a gold mine. I had a tooth that needed to be pulled and during the procedure and while I was medicated the dentist decided to pull a second tooth that had a gold crown. I request the tooth and she said, "Oh, no, you don't want that, it's messy." Gold was then sellig for $1,500 an ounce. On another occassion I was told a tooth needed a root canal and crown but that the tooth might not last more than a couple of years. I went ahead and the tooth fell out the following week. The dentist told me that I would receive credit for the crown but not the $1,700 root canal because that was performed by an independent specialist who was not part of their staff. I have good reason to be an unhappy former patient!

Had the BEST experience at Dr. Senatore's office today! Everyone in the office is so nice and the process was so efficient. The office is beautiful and has cutting edge technology. This is hands down the best experience I've had at a dentist. Most dentists pop in and out for an exam but Dr. Senatore took his time to explain exactly everything to me during the exam. No other dentist has ever done this before! He was very thorough and in depth and had answers to all of my questions. Excellent service and very friendly. They did a great job of giving me options, explaining procedures in detail and - importantly - ensuring I was aware and prepared for each step of the procedure. Work has been equally of high quality. Great staff all around. Definitely would recommend them and continue to use them as my primary dentist.

Dr. Senatore is excellent - he is experienced and provided me with Invisalign treatment. I was always given space to decide how I wanted to go through the process - I was presented with the options and given time to decide what I wanted. I also received general dental hygiene and annual visits here and I was greeted by name every time I stepped into the office.
