Dr. Mayani has EXCEEDED my expectations!!! I recently went to see him to have a couple of cavities filled. I have had difficulty in the past with dentists being unable to get me numb. He was able to do it effortlessly. He was very patient, gentle, and has a great sense of humor! He calmed my nerves and made me forget why I was even there! I had such a great experience that I decided to go back-to him because I have always wanted porcelain veneers. However, i was unable to afford it. I didn't realize what a long and arduous process it is, but again, Dr. Mayani made me forget I was even in the chair! Something else that I like About doctor Myani is that he is a perfectionist in what he does and is very passionate about dentistry! He educates you so you know exactly what is being done. Dr. Mayani has accommodated my schedule every time I've called for an appointment. His staff is the epitome of customer-service and is an absolute pleasure to deal with!!! Sheba at the front desk is a doll!! Tatiana, Dr.Mayani's assistant is warm, patient, and very efficient! Dr. Katzman left his practice in GREAT hands!!! Thank you Dr. Mayani for my new Hollywood smile!!!!

Dr Katzman is friendly, always remembers me and I've always been happy with with the way the new fillings feel afterwards. Ive gone to many different dentists because i moved a lot in the last 10 years. Dr Katzman is by far the best, so muchly so that I still go back to him after I moved from Brighton to JP. Its a bit of a drive, but the comfort of knowing that im getting great care is worth it. Plus, my cat's name is Catman and his name is Katzman.

Dr. Katzman has sold his practice. I've been a patient of Dr. Katzman's for ten years and have had a great relationship with Dr. Katzman and his staff. This morning I woke up with an emergency and after several failed attempts to get in touch with his office (even though I called during the operating hours stated online - the new operator also does not have an answering service or formal recording letting callers know that the practice has been sold, nevermind instructing patients who to call in the event of an emergency like every other dentist I've ever worked with). I then physically went into the office since I live close by and was greeted by the owner who was beyond hostile with me. After I requested my medical records so I can take them to a different dentist I was asked to leave and was then told if I didn't leave the police would be called. I never received my records so I contacted a friend who owns a large dental practice on the west coast, since I've never had to request records from a dentist, my friend said that a small fee might be customary for printing but that his office would never deny a patient their records. After speaking with Dr. Katzman about my experience I received a call from the owner later in the day who proceed to swear at me and said she was going to sue me. I was able to see a different dentist later in the day and it turns out the tooth is infected and requires extraction and a bone graph. It's too bad I had to see someone else to figure this all out, all I got from this new owner is the threat of legal action on two occasions, once in the morning upon my initial visit and then in the afternoon in the form of a follow up call. At no point did the new owner ask what my issue was. Very sad.

This was my first wonderful experience at a dental office. The staff were so knowledgeable and experienced. Dr. Mayani does amazing work and has the most compassionate chairside manner, making the patient feel comfortable and at ease. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking to find a great dental office with amazing service and care. I will definitely be staying with this office.

Mayani Dental has taken over Dr. Katzman's practice. I recommend that all patients who do not have dental insurance and pay for their own visits make sure that payments are posted to their accounts and retain updated statements. You might be surprised as I was to get hit with another outstanding balance 2 months after a cleaning visit you already paid in full. Off to find another dentist.....(I did not want to give any stars)
