I had no fewer than three dental appointments yesterday (aT 7 am, 8 am, and 9 am!) and every one went splendidly. It was the last official appt with my orthodontist, Dr. Bednar. I got those braces off and saw the beautiful work she did. She is a true pleasure to work with - she explains everything and always checks to make sure you are on board before taking the next step. Linda, her assistant, is very charming and competent. I will miss seeing them.
I also had a brief appointment with Dr Mizner, who is in the middle of a long drawn-out process of re-doing the crowns on my two front teeth. Yesterday he filed off the bottoms of the temporary teeth (which had shifted slightly in the braces) and we made a plan to get the impression done for the new crowns. Dr Mizner has a nice touch, great bedside manners, and an endearing sense of humor. The best ever!
And lastly but not leastly, I had my teeth cleaned by Lisa. She was impressive. She began with a manual exam of my mouth to look for any signs of cancer. Then she started working slowly and systematically to clean off every last bit of tartar, explaining all the while what she was doing and why. I enjoyed hearing about her daughters and son while she worked away. It was a pleasant appt (who would have guessed a tooth cleaning could be nice?) and I booked my next cleaning with, guess who? Lisa!
The front desk staff is just as wonderful. I always enjoy coming in so I can chat with Nicole. An outstanding practice in every way.
