Our six year old son saw two other local pediatric dentists before going to Chestnut Dental and the experience was night and day. Not only are they amazing dentists but they do an incredible job making the kids and the parents feel comfortable. It is also great that they have orthodontics in the same building as our son is definitely going to need braces and now that we know about Chestnut Dental we would never look anywhere else.

If I could give them a zero then I would. They only care about money and will charge you for services that you don't consent to be performed. I never authorized or consented for my child to be seen for braces but they charged me regardless as I told them over and over that I would not give consent for that service. They need to care more about the patient than trying to maximize their income!!!!

This is a very established practice with great staff. All my kids go here and we are very happy with the service. My little daughter had sealants appointment here today, she was very nervous. Abby was just amazing in calming her down, explained every step and made the whole process as fun as dental procedure can be :) I was very impressed by her professionalism and kind personality. Front desk people are very nice and going out of their way to help you. Great practice, we are loyal customers for years to come.

Let me start with this review that Dr. Scott is not just an orthodontist, he is also a perfectionist! We are very happy with the outcome after two years treatment for both my son and daughter. Dr. Scott and his team are amazing, very friendly, efficient and skilled. Thank you so much for all your help!

I've been going here for years and I have never liked them. To be fair they have gotten a lot better at not just ripping deep in to your gums and the balloons were great as a kid. But what was just the worst was the adhesive for the braces. I followed exactly what they told me for what I was allowed to eat and yet the brackets were falling off weekly. Not only was this a huge waste of time and probably money to fix they had the audacity to tell me it was my fault... I guess they meant I should just not eat. They will waste your time and money at some point.

I Highly recommend Dr. Donnell. My son was his patient for braces both pre and post jaw surgery, and now my son has the perfect smile. My son wore Invisalign braces, which made his early teen years less stressful and his postoperative recovery less painful. Dr Donnell spent a great deal of time chatting with my son about the orthodontics, and also coordinated with our surgeon. Thank-you Dr Donnell for the best outcome possible!

Dr. Donnell is a perfectionist and that's what you want in an orthodontist. I gave him a little bit of a hard time once or twice and he was very understanding and very patient with me. I'm glad that I listened to his advice because I am very happy with the results of my treatment.

I am writing this review nearly 6 months after my son received treatment. My wife and him were quite happy with the appointment and experience. There was an issue with our billing, however, after speaking with the billing manager and operations manager, they both were eager to rectify and resolve the situation. Thank you for your support and desire to resolve patient issues.

All this practice cares about is maximizing their revenue from each visit. They’re not willing to work with any family on deciding on appropriate treatment options. Their recommendations are mandates and if you don’t do what the suggest they’ll dismiss your family!

Completely wowed! Our 8 year old’s baby teeth weren’t moving as hoped and she’s already a apprehensive dental pt. Dr Keri Peterman helped monitor our daughter’s progression and ultimately determined we needed to get two teeth extracted. Our 8 y/o was naturally horrified until she walked into Chestnut Dental. Dr Peterman worked magic and our daughter is recovering so much faster and with a smile. Thank you so much Dr Peterman, Priscilla and your entire staff!

We just had a great experience at Chestnut Dental Needham office. My 4 year old daughter had a decay in one of her molar teeth that needed to be treated. It turned out the tooth extraction is a better option after check up. My wife and I had been very nervous about this procedure because our daughter does not like dentist office at all and always cries and tries to leave the chair. Surprisingly, the treatment performed by Dr. McBride and her assistant Priscilla turned out to be very smooth. My daughter had no tears and no screaming during the entire procedure and was very cooperative. For the next few hours after the procedure, there was only a little bleeding and not further pain killer was needed. We are very impressed with Dr. McBride and her assistant Priscilla’s skill, and their capabilities to connect with young patients, and their passion to help patients. They did such a great work.
