However, I had a big surprise as Dr. Chen reached out to me personally and clarified all misunderstanding and also educated me about some dental knowledge. Dr. Chen is one ofif not the best dentists I have been blessed to have work on me. I am notoriously hard to numb for weird anatomy reasons which has caused me anxiety when it comes to more invasive procedures. His staff is extremely nice, knowlegable and comforting. In this case, I was referred to Dr. Chen by another fabulous dentist (at Perfect Dental in Fitchburg) that I trust--who was going on vacation and could not extract it for me in the time I needed--for an extraction after I went to her when my dentist was unable to numb me and complete my root canal. I had attempted to get it finished three times and it was seeming hopeless. I was going to the ER for pain and an infection. I felt like I was constantly on antibiotics. I could not afford to try the root canal again and decided it was best to get rid of the toot. The thought of having to wait with the pain was daunting but his office fit me in right away. So grateful! When I finally was able to see Dr. Chen, I was on the verge of tears again after so many dentists not being able to numb me/not listening to me when I assured them I could still feel things and then continuing anyway. After I explained everything, he treated me awesomely. He explained everything he was doing before and during, and numbed me gradually and expertly. He joked with me and validated everything which lessened the anxiety by a thousand. The extraction itself was the shortest I have ever had--he was even able to get the whole tooth out in one piece! After the nightmare that was the failed root canal and painful infection, I am so happy to have such a good ending. Literally painless which is the best! I am so grateful! Totally will come back if I ever need help again.

This place was amazing! They had nice people and state of the art equipment. I don't want people to know about this place because it will over run because it's so good. I was in and out in 25 minutes with a really good teeth cleaning and xrays. All I can say is Wow.

I came here April 2018 for wisdom teeth removal. They went right to it, as they told me to finish off the paperwork while going through the extraction procedure. He numbed me all up and I felt all jittery. Then the first tooth came out easily the second tooth a little harder, and the third tooth on my right side was impacted, and the fact that I had a small mouth required it a couple of minutes. Other than that, I only felt a grinding of the tools against my teeth but felt no pain. My mouth was full of blood and the numbing misshaped my mouth but it wore off in 4 hours. I recommend Dr. Chen for wisdom teeth removal. I feel he is very good in his oral surgery work.

I absolutely love Dr. Chen. He removed my wisdom teeth and I felt NOTHING. I felt very comfortable the entire time. Dr. Chen and his assistants always kept me informed and were happy to answer any and all of my questions. I have a phobia of needles and have had 6 teeth removed, I have had the best experience with Dr. Chen. I highly recommend going to Dr. Chen's office. The best dental office I have ever been to.

Need a surgeon or Dentist? He's the MAN! Literally. As a former employee of Dr. Chen, witnessing him extract and tend to patients needs but me in a extremely comfortable position to have him extract my wisdom. In the past I've been told by several other oral surgeons how difficult it would be to remove them, Dr. Chen did mine within 15-20min, with no pain or discomfort! I highly recommend him to provide you with nothing, but GREAT DENTAL CARE & QUALITY!

Albeit not fun (obviously), Dr. Chen did a wonderful job removing my wisdom teeth. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and did a great job quickly removing my wisdom teeth. My bottom teeth were a bit difficult to remove, so I was extremely impressesed with the quick recovery time. My fiancé and I were amazed with how fast I healed from the procedure - I believe the credit goes to Dr.Chen. I would highly recommend!

Not happy went for an a tooth extraction was quoted more money than anywhere else paid 240 dollars for an x Ray and couldn't even get something for the pain when I was told how much it would be and that I can't afford it right now. Scummy practices from scummy people

I was referred there by a local dentist to have my wisdom teeth taken out. They offered to take me in the same day but I refused because I just started a new job. They took me in so fast when I got there. Their X-ray machine was a breeze. It wasn’t the ones where they put these things in your mouth and cuts you. I was scared and asked to be put out ... he explained to me what would happen and why I shouldn’t be out. Everything was done within 15 minutes. I had inflammation on one side which made it hard to numb. He made sure I was comfortable and felt nothing at all. Definitely recommend them. Ivy was also great. I Will be signing my parents here soon. :)

The worst experience I have had with a dentist. I called to do root canal, after faced the rude attitude of blaming me not go to his place to do cleaning, Dr Chen said he doesn't do root canal. BTW, the deep and normal cleaning I did there were also the worst in my life.

I had one of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Zhong last Friday, leaving the office with no pain, and no further suffering afterwards and in the following days. Dr. Zhong is so skilled and quick that it only took less than 2 mins. I am sensitive with anesthetics and Dr. Zhong made a little adjustment and let me feel less nervous. He and his assistant are very nice and always happy to talk with me to distract my attention to the extraction. I have had the best experience with my first wisdom tooth removal, and am now thinking of the appointment with Dr. Zhong for the other two :-) The staff in Care Smile Dental are great as well. They are very professional. The clinic is very clean and bright. I highly recommend Dr. Zhong and his assistant for your dental needs!

Dr. Chen is so sweet and wonderful. I had to have a full mouth extraction, but unfortunately, my dentist that referred me here, had split it up into two appointments. I am someone who has severe anxiety, and I was hesitant to even go. He made it such a pleasant experience. He made sure I had everything I needed and he made sure I was comfortable before even starting. He wouldn’t do anything that was too much. He talked me through the whole process and he really knows what he’s doing. When I had to do my second appointment, I had no doubt in my mind that he’s exactly who I wanted to see. Both times, he was so gentle and caring yet informative and professional. I had a lot of deep rooted teeth, and he was able to get them out quickly without too much of a struggle. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who struggles with anxiety. He’s not one of those guys that says things to worry you right before getting them pulled. He’s calm and confident and he does such wonderful work. If you don’t feel comfortable yet, he’ll keep talking to you and he’ll reassure you a million times if he has to that he’s got you and everything is going to be okay. The environment is clean and friendly. The ladies there are gentle as well and they’re very helpful. And I’ve never been in any dental office that’s so calm and quiet, and you don’t feel like you’re in the dentist. It’s very relaxing there. Don’t hesitate! If you need dental work, please call and ask to see Dr. Chen. I couldn’t have made a better choice myself.

Dr. Chen is a wonderful dentist and very knowledgeable of his field. Since he is trained as an oral surgeon, he is able to handle all aspect of dental procedures, from simple cavity filling ,tooth extraction, root canal, crown and dental implant.I drive all the way from New Hampshire to see him because I like to see a dentist that’s good in doing everything and handle all procedures well. It saves me so much time so I don’t have to see other dentists in different offices for every little problem. His staffs are all with him for many years and all very pleasant and friendly.I have been looking around to find a good dentist for a long time and am glad that I am finally able to find one. Dr. Chen also has a excellent bedside manner and always take his time explaining things well. I found his procedures always painless.

I left his office in no pain. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed, usually I pass out from the novacaine shots. Dr. Chen's technique was so good I was literally humming along happily while he extracted. I also didn't feel the numbing shots. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Great work, great guy, great place.
