If I would ever leave Boston, one of the things I would miss will be my experience at the Back Bay Dental Design. I’ve been going there for my dental work/cleaning for couple of years now and it’s been an extremely positive experience every single time. Doctor Fereidouni is excellent! And the entire team at the Back Bay Dental Design are super friendly and professional. The office ambience is also very relaxing with a lot of lights and nice music in the background. I highly recommend this place!

There are many good things about this office. However, there is not good access to the dentist. Even though I specifically asked to be seen by the doctor after cleaning, I was not able to do so for the last two cleaning and had to come back at another time to see him. At the previous practice that I went to, after each cleaning, the doctor performed a complete exam of the mouth and related lymph nodes. This does not seem to be part of the routine at this practice.

As someone who has always hated/ dreaded going to the dentist, I feel so relieved to have found Back Bay Dental Design! The hygienists here (Paulina and Shawn) have made this a much more pleasant experience! They are always gentle and thorough and have improved my preventative care regimen as well. Dr. Kurban is also very easy to understand in his explanations and he’s thoughtful in devising treatment plans that can accommodate financial limitations but still keep teeth as healthy as possible. He always explains the treatment that is needed (I have had to get a number of crowns) and makes sure I understand what is happening. Even the front desk staff (Joanna) is very patient in breaking down treatment plan and costs. Thank you BBDD!

Incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. I received a recommendation from a friend for Back Bay Dental when I needed a second opinion regarding massive dental work I was told by a previous dentist I needed, despite having no pain. I explained the situation to the doctor and the assistant and they quickly concluded, while looking at my teeth and my x-rays, I was not in need of any dental work. It was easy to schedule an appointment, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the office was impeccable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for reliable professionals.

There are way too many dentist in Boston but when it comes to my teeth, I'm super picky who I go to and I just don't go to anyone. I can say Dr. Fereidouni, is not just a dentist but he is more an artist who pays attention to little details to design a flawless smile. He listens to your concern carfully and spends the time to explain your treatment step by step. His office staff are very knowledgeable and professional. 5 star dental experience. Expert technical work, thorough explanation, continuously sensitive to patient experience, both dentist and his assistant. Makes quick work of a process that could be longer and unpleasant even painful in others’ hands. Great music, soothing atmosphere as well.

You know how we all dread going to the dentist until something bad happens and then we can no longer neglect our poor teeth? Yeah, me too. Yesterday I chipped a molar. I had a baby a week ago, so it was the worst timing. I hadn’t been to the dentist while pregnant, and avoided it for a year prior after we moved across country. It’s hard to find a good dentist! Fortunately I booked an appointment for the next day bright and early, and was literally in and out in under forty minutes with xrays, a care plan (that didn’t intimidate me or make me feel pressured!), and a brand new filling that is comfortable and didn’t hurt (even the pinch of the shot). I’m looking forward to my cleaning and regular care at Back Bay Dental Design. Who would have thought?

Because of Dr. Kurban my daughter have a beutiful smile and can actually breathe, yes you heard me breath and you might think; what a dentist has to do with breathing? Well here it is: Every year at cold season my daughter would have a terrible nasal infection that would always lasted at least a month and antibiotic treatment, and her dr. couldn’t figure out what was happening to her. Then her teeth started to grow horribly and I decided to take her to the dentist and I was refer to Dr. Kurban, he took a look at my kids teeth and immediately new that her tinsels and adenoids were too big for her and this was what was cussing her teeth to grow like they were, furthermore he even mention that this if not yet would cause breathing problems sleeping depravation and even maybe nasal infection. It was like magic he had told me what my kids' life had been with just a quick look. He then refer my daughter to a specialist to fix these 2 conditions to then treat her teeth. Thank God for him and the day we walk into his office my daughter’s teeth are great and her quality of life is fantastic, no more infection, no more snoring and she loves the dentist. What more can I ask, I myself then switch my dentist to his office. Thanks Dr. Kurban 
