I would not recommend Abington Family Dental Care. They do not ask for your consent before they do procedures that cost money. They simply notify you after they are done. I don't trust the "Gentle Dental" name. I should have walked out, when I realized this office was a Gentle Dental location.

Good place in terms of service and friendliness. Good place to go for dental cleanings but I didn't have a good experience when it comes to more extensive work.

I absolutely Love my Dentist Doctor Pria Gopinathan!! She's Wonderful. I'm a Big Baby when it comes to having my teeth worked on. Feet up off the chair, hands gripping the chair and jumping occasionally. I never have to worry when Dr. Pria is working on my teeth, she knows how I am and always makes certain that I'm comfortable before she does anything. Even make the music louder for me. She's Awesome!!!

After suffering couple days with extreme toothache, I was able to get in and see the staff at Abington Family Dental Care as a new patient. They were extremely courteous and friendly. I was put on antibiotic for tooth extraction. After couple days due to pain I was unable to wait any longer and the staff was able to work me in early for the extraction. They were very accommodating and I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Thomas and the entire STAFF for all they did. Thank you Abington Family Dental Care team.!!!!

This dental office is the worst I"ve ever been to. They are root canal happy and after I had one done there, I had a tooth pulled rather than endure the pain again. I had a root canal done elsewhere and it wasn't painful at all. They are also x-ray happy, just trying to get money that the ins doesn't cover and their antiquated xray equipment left cuts on my gums. The last cleaning was also very painful. The office staff is miserable, when I cancelled a appt due to lack of money, they berated me and told me I should let things go. Finally, they advertise on the internet, hold raffles etc and that's so just so unprofessional and the fact that the have to advertise shows had bad they really are.

Dr. Mike Thomas. I have been seeing him for a few years now and I am always treated on time. My appointments here in Abington, MA are always been great. His staff is always accommodating and a pleasure. They also have a great sense of humor.
