We came here to have a cavity filled for an anxious child. The staff was genuinely warm and caring about our kids (both the one who needed the procedure and the one who had to tag along). Our high deductible dental insurance didn't cover anything outside of preventative care, but the dentist himself took a personal interest in my concerns about the affordability and the cost was incredibly reasonable. During the procedure, the dentist and his assistant could not have been more careful to reassure my child at every turn. I could not recommend them more.

Dr. Liu and his staff are awesome! We had gone to several different dentists for a procedure for our youngest - but they were unable to get him to cooperate. Dr. Liu and his staff were super. They got our son to cooperate and were very positive and courteous the entire time. Dr. Liu is our dentist now!

It was the worst experience I have ever had with a kids' dentist. I visited Alexandria superkids dentist. The place is old and bad, but I waited because i believed that the place is not the most important thing. The doctor was a very old man with shaking hands. I wonder how he is still licenced to work as a doctor. My kids were a little bit scared of him, he never smiled, was just frowining and looked like he was disgusted. He gave them extremely discourging comments about their teeth. My 6 years old girl was afraid and she moved her hand a little while he was examining her teeth, he showted at her and asked her father to come and hold her hands. I cancelled my other appointment, and did not allow him to work on my children teeth. We all felt bad.. Do not go there, you are gonna have the worst experience in the world...

We had to leave our old dentist due to insurance reasons, and my kids were upset. Amazingly, they loved Dr. Liu even more! The location is wonderful, we are always able to get an appointment at a time that is convenient for us. The kids loved their experience and everyone in the office worked really hard to make my kids feel at ease. My 7 year old was so relaxed that after getting two cavities filled he was actually excited to go back and get the last one done! As a parent I loved the way he talked to me. He treated me like we were partners in keeping the kids teeth healthy instead of just telling me what I should be doing in a lecturing tone.

Made an appointment almost two weeks ago for the shady grove location. We arrived on time but the door was locked. We called but no one responded. We called the Virginia main office and they located our appointment but said the staff won’t be there until 1pm (our appt was 9:30am). They said they would call back to see if they can arrive earlier. No call so far and when I called the main office again they routed me to their voicemail. Really terrible experience and customer service especially considering that we need to take time off work to make the Monday appointment.

My four kids had wonderful time at Superkids Dentistry. They can watch the latest movie during the teeth cleaning. They got surprise gift when teeth cleaning were done. Doctor Liu is very nice and professional. Their schedule is very flexible and I can arrange 4 kids appointment in the same time. My kids are always looking forward their next visiting to SuperKids!

We were in need of a new pediatric dentist, and I chose SuperKids based on their positive online reviews. Let me just say we were not disappointed!! For starters, the location is very convenient and the office is bright and clean. Most importantly, Dr. Liu, Dr. Gill, and the entire front desk and clinical staff are truly amazing. They were so friendly and easy to talk to, and they really made my kids feel calm and comfortable. After one visit, I felt like we had been going there for years. I would 100% recommend this practice. I am so glad we found them!

I called the office for the first time yesterday and they were able to schedule my three kids for today! The office staff was really warm, friendly and patient! I did not realize I had the wrong insure cards and they were so relaxed and patient with me while I was trying to figure things out! I love superkids! We go to the Potomac office and my girls (6 and 4.5) are always excited to go! They always help me with preventive care and make sure my daughters feel very comfortable. I couldn’t be more pleased with them. This last time, Dr. Ben Liu coated their teeth to add an extra layer of prevention and did so without any tears from the girls!

My twin boys (5 years old)have been patients of this practice for one year now. They had cleaning and fillings done. The doctor, the hygienist and dental assistants are wonderful. I never heard of kids loving going to the dentist, but mine do. That's proof of how great this dental practice is.

Today was my second visit and I was DISAPPOINTED. My son is 28 months old and he's usually okay at the dentist until today. Their was a cheerful, loving and caring Jamaican dentist when we visit 6 months ago. My son felt comfortable around him which made me looked forward for his visit today. Consequently, he no longer works there. I did not know until I asked for him because the dentists that saw my son were, incompetenthe, very rude, unprofessional and neither of them showed any care towards my son well being. I have NEVER wrote a review before, but be careful with tor children about the new dentists they hired. I'll NEVER again return, I'll be complaining to my insurance, their director, health and human services and government officials of I have to because they shouldn't be in business

Hi, Very friendly environment for kids and attendents are well trained. But the main person is the doctor for a patient . Yes, I'm talking about the Dr. Liu of Superkids Pediatric dentist .. He is so commercial minded person . He recomends unnecessary treatment of kids for his business. He doesn't care about kid's tolerance power as well as maturity of age. And sorry to say about his unskilled hand. He is not that much professional as a pediatric dentist should be. There is no doubt about his well behavior and sweet talking. So, before giving ur innocent kids think twice . Tanx .

I'm a mother of three boys & I have a busy work schedule. SuperKids Pediatric Dentistry (Sterling VA location) was able to accommodate my schedule to fit all of my children in on the same day. The staff & dentist were all very friendly & professional which helped put my children at ease on their first visit. I also liked that the dentist cleaned my five year old son's teeth which is something I don't see too often. I also liked the fact that they took our insurance & there is also an orthodontist at the same office. We will back for more visits. :)

I've been coming to this office for about a year and a half now, my son needed a lot of work done and was really nervous. Dr Liu was so kind and his staff talked him through the entire process, my son completed all of his treatment and isn't scared of the dentist anymore. Such a great experience, definitely recommend this office!

I have five stars to the dentist, Dr. Liu, who is extremely nice and efficient. The facility at Potomac is tiny but equipped very well for kids at different ages. However, the front desk lady , who was not professional, got minus two stars. After we saw the doctor, we went to check out at the front desk. The lady said there would be a $50 co-pay and I went to the car to get my purse, to pay. Right before I entered the door to pay, she said "oh, you don't need to pay. I was looking at the wrong profile. And you are good to go." However, the second day, she called me (using a random Virginia number) asking for $100 ($50 for one kid and we had two) without mentioning who was calling or so. After I figured out who was calling, I asked her to send the bill to me before I gave her my credit card information. She then obtained my email address and promised that she would send the bill to me immediately, but I have to call her back TODAY to pay. Alright. I immediately checked the insurance policy while I was waiting for her to send the bill. She NEVER sent me anything! I guess I will call the 301 number to submit my payment then.

I brought my 20 month old son here for his first dental exam and overall it was a great experience! Very friendly staff and the doctor (Dr. Gill) was very knowledgeable and spent a good amount of time with us. We left with some new ideas to continue to provide good oral care to our toddler. The experience for our son was the least traumatic it could be (considering this was his first dental appointment!) and we are definitely planning to continue to use this practice for all of his future dental needs. Highly recommend anyone searching for a pediatric dentistry practice to come here!

Have three kids, ages 3, 7, 13. All had quick, but thorough appointments with minimal waiting. Made the appointments a couple days before, so there wasn’t three spots together — but despite this, they were able to work two kids together so we didn’t have to come back a third time, which is amazing. TVs on ceiling are calming which makes for higher compliance. Highly recommend!!

Love Dr. Liu, he is very caring and careful with the kids, Talks and explains. He understands and works well with kids with Autism. Updated 8/31/18 Today my son with Autism had his sealants done. It has been the most amazing experience in his life with a Dental Higenist. She listened to him and understood his anxiety, she was able to reasure him, calm him down and walk him through the whole process, while staying calm and in control, not bothered by his distress or noises! The whole procedure was carried with such care that at some point he forgot his anxiety. Thank you!

I loved the ease of making the appointment online. It was our first time here and our 2 and 4 year olds did great! Upon arrival the front desk staff was extremely nice. You ever meet people that your kid just...loves from first sight? That was our experience today. I was so impressed by Dr. Liu and the staff.
