If I could give them a zero, I would! They treat u like a common thief! They cornered my husband about a bill that was never sent out for payment after insurance paid their portion. They confronted him right away at the front desk and refused to treat him if he didn't pay right there and then, even though his bill for his procedure was paid in full. When I called and spoke to the dentist/owner she admitted no bill had been sent out but that was their policy since they had been left holding the bag for other patients' previous treatments. However, we as a military family and first time ever being seen at this dental office had never stuck them with a bill, nevertheless was being treated as such! We will never step foot in that office again, it reeked of preconceived judgment! For instance, i'ts like walking into a store and all their merchandise is behind locked cabinets and the owner tells u we have to do that because we keep getting robbed, but u have never stolen anything a day in ur life, yet perceived and treated as untrustworthy. Our family has served this country for over 20 years honorably! Just wanted to be treated like respectable human beings...

My wife and I are happy and loyal customers of St. Charles Family Dental since January 2016 because of the consistent excellent dental services provided by Dr. Marilyn Coleman. She clearly explains the dental plan, makes you feel comfortable during the dental procedures, and sees to it that you receive quality customer service at all times. Also, all staff including the receptionists/clerks are friendly and professional. I highly recommend St. Charles Family Dental!

beware!!! These people will rip you off and FILL your teeth for NO REASON! CROOKS! My husband and I had gone here for 4 years before we had a major problem. We take good care of our teeth and use an electronic toothbrush. One day he came home and said he had 5-6 cavities!!! (Since his last appointment??) I was astonished. He said "when i argued with them, they SAID only 4-5 needed to be filled.." so it was like their number kept going down...? They only fill one tooth at a time so he went back every week until they were all filled. PIA. :::flashforward::: I go to the dentist...the doctor does his quick inspection and says there's no problems. The hygienist says "uh what about there?" He said "well it may be the beginning of a cavity..." she pushed him to say it was a cavity. Then she kept cleaning my teeth and says "the Dr missed 2 more cavities." She doesn't get him to look at it, she just says, "since you're already coming here for the other filling, we can fix these too". I was really upset I had cavities and honestly I didn't believe her. I went back to my old family dentist out of town for a second opinion. He said "WHERE did they say you had cavities?" I told him. He got out a **camera** and took a picture of two little black spots on the teeth. He said "those are tooth discolorations from food that you've eaten. I will polish them away. When I'm done, I'll show you again." He polished my teeth for 30 seconds max, took another photo and voila, they were gone!!!! So either the hygienist at CFD can't CLEAN teeth and is really ignorant, OR THEY ARE CROOKS. I can't believe we let them fill 5 of my husband's teeth!!! They drilled holes in his teeth for probably no reason. That is so unethical. *So if they tell you that you have cavities, get a photo and a second opinion. BEWARE!

Very friendly but will not allow my 2 kids and I for our cleaning together citing insurance but insurance say that is not accurate. So we have to do separate visits!

I have been seeing Dr. Coleman for over 10+ years. I will not go to any other dentist. She had a location in Woodbridge and I would travel from Maryland just to have her work on my teeth. She also has an awesome staff. Check it out for yourself. You will never leave.

I have not been to a dentist in a few years (shame on me) due to costs and my overall fear of dental care. However my experience here was pleasant. The place is clean, warm and inviting. The staff is friendly. My treatment plan and costs were explained thoroughly and I really liked Dr Coleman-Bordes. This will be my regular dentist going forward!

Needed to find a new dentist after insurance changed for myself and my young child. Choosed this practice off list of providers. Spoke with receptionist who was very courteous and professional; was able to get an apppointment immediately. Entire staff at the office professional and prompt with care. Even entertained my little one while I was being seen. Great dentist office.

The dentist did not introduce himself to my child or myself on our first visit and when I tried to verbally comfort my scared child during the procedure the dentist kept brushing us off with, "He's fine." I also had a lot of trouble getting the practice to file necessary forms with our insurance and had to make repeated calls about it.

UPDATE*** So i previously had a bad experience here and I figured I would give them one more shot since I had loved coming to this dentist office since I moved to waldorf almost 5 years ago now. BIG MISTAKE. I booked a 9AM Monday morning appointment for my son so he would miss the least amount of school as possible. First off I get here 15 minute early and NOONE AND I MEAN NOONE is here. They finally show up there is no staff nothing is prepped and ready for the 9AM apt that I booked. So I wait 10 minutes and over hear the receptionist on the phone mention something about waiting on the doctor. So I go up and ask how long of wait its going to be and she can't say because there is no staff there. I sit down and wait about 10 more minutes when I hear her on the phone again saying they are waiting on the doctor. So I go back up and ask if the doctor is here and she says no. So at this point I tell her to cancel the appointment. She then proceeds to tell me that they aren't usually open on Mondays as if that makes any difference because clearly you are since i booked my apt 6 months out. Then it was oh well you didn't verify your insurance before the appointment as if it's my fault no one is here for this 9am appointment. To top it off I took time off of work for no reason. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE AND THIS JUST CONFIRMED THAT WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE. THEY NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN RUN THIS PRACTICE EFFICIENTLY. I've been going to this dentist for the last 4 years and have not had any issues until recently. The last 4 times I have been here with My children we have had to wait 30 minutes past my apt time to be seen. Do not ask me to be here early if you can't manage your apts on time. I understand that your time is valuable but so is mine. Waiting 30 minutes past my apt time is not acceptable at all! I get 10-15 minutes max but 30 minutes is not acceptable. The fact that is happens repeatatively I'll be switching dentist before we come back here.

I have been a loyal patient for the past 5 years. The dental hygienist offered me a complimentary pack of dental flosses (6 threaders in pack). Office manager/dental hygienist manager took 3 of the threaders out of the pack before handing them to me ... ridiculous and petty. I walked out NEVER to return again!
