I have sleep apnea and came to Nathanson Dental for help. After doing a sleep study and waiting over a week I called to see what the hold up was and they told my results was in without calling me to let me know. They then told me they needed to contact my insurance and told me they would call me in order to set up an appointment once they had a preauthoriation. I waited and 3 weeks went by and call them back in. Once I called them back in they said they still needed to submit forms to my insurance. This all happened around the beginning of September 2017 and it is now the end October and I still haven’t heard back from their office. This is the worst experience I have had from any type of health care provider. I will now have to find another doctor who can help me with my sleep disorder. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This dental practice is by far the most professional practice I’ve ever used. Kim, the hygienist, is so caring, sweet, and conscientious. She took all the time necessary for a completely thorough cleaning. She never appeared rushed. It is obvious she loves her job. Dr Nathanson follows with a thorough exam. He approaches his patients with kindness and professionalism. His office staff are all pleasant to talk with. I went into this appointment with a lot of anxiety since I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time. This experience was extremely pleasant and I will definitely be returning for routine checkups. It all started with a phone call from Dr. Nathanson himself the night before the appointment to ensure I was comfortable coming into the practice. I was greeted with a new patient gift and a handwritten card. Massaging chairs and Netflix provided delightful distractions to the gum poking that cannot be avoided. The dental hygienist was extremely patient with me and took the time to explain everything they were doing to help with my anxiety. Everyone I spoke with from the check in to making follow up appointments was extremely friendly and considerate. I cannot recommend this practice enough. An overall delightful experience.

This is the best practice I have ever been to; the staff greet you with a smile when you walk in the door and the office is very clean and bright. Kim always does my cleanings and she is the sweetest and most gentle; she always makes sure I have enough water, I'm comfortable, etc. Dr. Nathanson is extremely professional, diligent and competent. He thoroughly explains exactly what he's doing, the equipment he's using, and is up-to-date on the latest evidence-based-practice and technology. Plus, they have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!

They didn’t finish cleaning my teeth. I received a coupon through mail with $129 special to do Exam, X-Ray and cleaning. They didn’t polish my teeth and they just cleaned with metal pick between my front teeth and their x-Rays is not panoramic view. That was my first and last time there.

I visited Nathanson Dental yesterday for an emergency broken/cracked tooth. I called around lunchtime and was able to be seen by 3 PM. I was treated with the utmost amount of care and consideration. Every single employee was pleasant, helpful and caring. My cleaning was the most thorough I have ever received, and my procedure was flawless. I was a little concerned that I would be in pain once i woke up this morning, but not a single ounce of pain in my mouth this morning. I am extremely unhappy with my experience with Dr. Nathanson. He is condescending, racist and focused on taking your money only. Not what you desire. I had laser gum contouring and I ended up with the same smile I walked in the door with. He refused to correct this and after spending over $1,000 at this place I can honestly say it was a waste. Worse experience ever. To add insult to injury, he also harassed me to come back year after year just so he can get over some more. Find a Dr. who isn't just in it to rip you off but one who cares that you receive great results. Beware.

Dr. Nathanson and his team were amazing. I needed a wisdom tooth extracted and they were the last office I called, just before I felt like giving up. I can go on and on with good things to say about this place. Everything from the 1st phone call, to the moment I walked out of the door was a pleasure. First of all, I was a new patient. Before I arrived, I explained that I had a damaged wisdom tooth that I really needed out as soon as possible because I was in pain. Every other office I called, didn’t seem to have the same sense of urgency as I did. From the moment Dr. Nathanson’s office answered the phone, I felt like my needs were as important to them as they were to me. Vicki was very attentive over the phone, and more so in person upon my arrival. She went above and beyond to assist me. Since I was in pain, Dr. Nathanson allowed me to come right in so that he can at least take a look at my tooth to see what could/should be done. Dr. Nathanson was able to do the extraction on the spot in his office and the entire time he talked me through everything. Right away, I felt like I was in good hands and he did not disappoint. Vickie was very open and explained everything to me regarding her role and her background as she was gearing up to assist. A patient feels more comfortable when the providers are open and transparent; and that is exactly what you get when you walk through the doors of Nathanson Dental. I initially only came here for the emergency extraction; however, this place will most certainly be my new (and hopefully my last) dental office. There is nothing that I can think of that could have been done better. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Where do I start. Unprofessional, Inept, a Scam. I called asking if my insurance would be in-network and was assured it was. (It wasn't and I paid for it, as opposed to the Dental Office who made the mistake!) I have never had a cavity in 27 years and I walked out of their office with a record number of 11 cavities. (I went to get a second opinion and was informed I had no issues- I have been going to a Dentist twice a year since I was a child ). (It should be noted I requested they did NOT run a pre-estimate and they did anyways – the pre-estimate total was roughly near $1000, no wonder they wanted me to undergo the frivolous operations!)(One last point, they were really pushy in trying to sign me up for these “necessary” operations – I asked politely for them to stop, but had to become firm with them when they wouldn’t let it go that I was not interested in the procedures. After spending close to 3.5 hours in a Dental Chair and then to be harassed at check out, I felt like I was back overseas ) I even heard the girls make fun of my laugh in the empty dental office (Yes I could hear you, there was no one else in the place!). Lastly, for a Teeth Cleaning, they charged almost $400.00 and it took them over 3 hours to do! It was a complete waste of time and money. Avoid this place as all costs!

Nathanson dental provides excellent, customized service. It is rare to find a dental office that is SO patient centric. Dr. Nathanson actually calls each patient individually before and after each appointment to be sure that there are no questions or concerns. I received a postcard for a free consult for a sleep apnea/snoring dental device. Dr. Nathanson and his assistant, Kayla, gave me more information than my doctors regarding my options for treatment. Dr. Nathanson was informative, caring, and was primarily interested in serving the needs of his patients. He impressed me with his advice, knowledge, and concern as a fiduciary, He places the care of his patients above his own interests. The staff/office was the most friendly, informative, and progressive that I have previously experienced. Even though I had to wait due to an emergency, Kayla kept me company and provided me with a massage chair that was awesome. The "exit" staff was friendly and very helpful. Leaving with a homemade cookie, I can only say, TRY THIS OFFICE!
