I love Dr Collins and her staff! My special needs son has been coming to Dr Collins since he was 4 years old and he's now 18. He was petrified of going to the dentist and would cry and literally weep before we even got there. He would go around crying on all of the staff's shoulders to avoid the chair. But Dr. Collins was so good with him. She understood his needs and dealt so gently and kindly with him. She would even sit with him on her lap to keep him still so he could be xrayed (which always brings tears to my eyes

We are so happy with this practice. We mostly see Dr. Bross, but have also seen Dr. Kenny - I would highly recommend either one. As dentists they are knowledgeable, accessible, and never rushed....and they (and the entire staff) are GREAT with kids (and parents!). Thanks to them, my toddler is excited about brushing and flossing and just loves going to the dentist.

We were in Annapolis on a family vacation when my 3-year-old fell and knocked her two top front teeth loose. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Lee right away and had a fantastic experience. Everything was top-notch, from the ease of scheduling an emergency appointment (where we are not even a patient) to the special touches they provide to make kids comfortable, to the helpful information we received from Dr. Lee to take back to our home dentist...I could go on and on. If we lived in the area, this would be our dental practice, without question.

Dr. Collins is the most sincere dentist I have met. My daughter has been under her care since she was two years old including several visits per year. When we moved, after the first year of her care, we made the easy decision to commute for the exceptional dental care at this office. When you enter the office each staff member greats you with a smile and makes us feel as if we are their favorite guest! Our daughters name is always written in on the "Welcome" board for the day of her visit. The waiting area is large and has areas dedicated areas for different ages. A playhouse for very young children includes Legos, there is always a kid friendly movie playing and video games for the older kids. Upon entering the exam room, the child is offered a choice of a movie that is played during the visit which helps to distract my child. Dr. Collins always explains what she is going to do and always includes the names of her tools. "Grandpa Slurpee, Mr. Slurpee, a little teeth shampoo, and then my tooth towel." Regardless of my child's behavior or dislike of the appointment Dr. Collins praises my daughter and how she has been caring for her teeth. When my daughter was 2 she received an adorable bath toy for what they considered "an excellent visit." Now she receives coins to be used in the token machines. Due to my daughters extensive medical history, which has impacted her teeth, Dr. Collins has worked on my daughters teeth while under anesthesia at the local hospital. Her office made all of the arrangements and got all approvals from our insurance. It was such an easy process. On the day of surgery, Dr. Collins greeted us and again explained how everything was going to go, went back to the OR with my daughter and met us after the surgery. Late in the evening Dr. Collins personally called to see how my girl was recovering and asked that we call if we had any questions. I felt as though my daughter was her only patient. I can't rave enough about the quality of care that this office provides!

Dr Collins and the practice came into our lives when we desperately needed a knowledgeable and dedicated professional. Dr. Collins came up with a fabulous and comprehensive treatment plan for my son who had some serious dental issues. Later, once his mouth was stabilized, she gave us a referral to an orthodontist that is at the top of her field. Now for all his dental needs we are in the best of hands. Everyone at this practice is wonderful and you can tell they actually like kids. My son is very sensitive and not a very good dental patient. They were able to get him to cooperate and he is always happy to go there. In fact as we were on our way today he said, " Oh the place with the coins Oh, I love that place. Piece of cake Mom." 'Nuff said. Any child is lucky to have such a wonderful dental practice to go to.

My third child has just had his first dental check up at Collins and associates. He was so excited to have his turn in the chair. Every visit for every level of care is top notch. My children always feel consulted and part of their dental care. I'm always so very pleased that they will carry this foundation of dental care with them to adulthood.

I did a lot of researching when it came to finding a pediatric dentist and Collins, Bross & Associates was highly recommended. Our first appointment exceeded my expectations! The office is easy to locate and the office is beautiful. Very well decorated, clean and of course, very kid friendly. The front desk staff was very thorough and helpful. We did not wait long at all, the rest of the office was just as well kept and pretty as the front. The dental hygienist was phenomenal and everything a parent wants when it comes to a first dental visit. She showed my daughter every tool she was going to use and why/how she was going to use it, which I know eased my daughters nerves. She was very patient while explaining the process and did not rush through it whatsoever. My daughter was so excited that she was able to pick her own movie as well. The dental hygienist was thorough in her cleaning, gentle and quick. The Dr. came in after to check through everything and he was extremely friendly and thorough as well. My daughter loved being able to use her tokens afterwards and adored the fact she was given a “chick fil a credit card” I highly, highly recommend this office. You will be so happy you decided to join their dental family!

I searched for a dentist for my son. Your first dentist is so important to prevent being afraid of the dentist. I drive from Ellicott City to Annapolis, because of their vote in Chesapeks Magazine. My son has NO problems going. He had a cavity filled at 5 and not a peep out of him. No hesitation to return. The staff is fast and friendly. I have never had to wait and the dentist explains everything with all the info you need! Everyone interacted with my son and made him and I totally comfortable

I was seeing smiles pediatric in Lanham. The office was over crowded and I began to feel like my child never actually saw the dentist nor did the dentist make time to talk to us each visit. After taking my friends kids to there dentist appt here it was night and day. I transferred all 4 of my kids. They have a nice size waiting area with toys and a TV, they staff is all very child friendly and the dentist spoke to me every time. I feel like we are getting way better care here and the wait time is nothing compared to the last. Very impressed!

The dentist is awesome, he was excellent with my toddler. The place was clean and organized. Unfortunately the secretary that answers the phones is incredibly rude. I️ decided to transfer to another dentist because of how uncomfortable and belittled she made me feel while speaking over the phone.

My 5 year old had to be sedated and have two caps put on. We were both very nervous and I even shed a tear. The staff and Dr. Bross were absolutely amazing with my daughter. Very patient, and an amazing bedside manner. She had no pain after the procedure and no pain since! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Oh my goodness, I cried a little and had to hold back my tears today at the dentist and wanted to hug everyone from the front desk lady who remembered all the stuff I had said on the phone, to Dr. Z himself. After terrible, horrible, tragic, and physically restraining pediatric dental experiences with my four-year-old, who is sensitive to touch, sound and new sensory experiences, we had a wonderful, tear-less, super calm and relaxing visit. I was FLOORED at the difference. The most impressive part of the visit was how engaged and reactive they were with my daughter, and she responded so well to that. This is not something you can fake and kids really pick up on that - especially sensitive ones. Thank you! Everyone should go here, especially those with kids with sensory issues!

My whole family loves Dr. Bross! He is so good with my kids and he’s an excellent dentist. Two of my kids have soft enamel so he watches very carefully for spots that could turn into cavities. He never rushes us through and he always takes the time to answer any of our questions thoroughly. I can’t imagine finding a better dentist anywhere! The staff is great too, they’re very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and modern with lots of cool things to occupy the kids, like video games and a new photo booth. We’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes and the kids get some cool prizes at the end of the visit. When your kids cheer when you tell them they’re getting their teeth cleaned you know you have a good dentist!

We brought our almost 3 year old in for his first dental visit recently. I contacted the office because it had good reviews and seemed to accept our insurance. The receptionist confirmed insurance would be accepted and set up our appointment in about a minute. First visit forms were provided by email which was great to get done ahead of time. Appointment reminder was sent by email with a button to add it straight to my Google calendar - very convenient. Reminder was also sent by text - great for busy parents to get these reminders! The office was clean and modern with toys, TV and video games (!) in waiting room. The office is well staffed with friendly and knowledgeable personnel. We were called back quickly for our visit after check in and everything was explained thoroughly for first time parents/kids. Exam rooms were big enough for wife and I and our infant daughter as well. TVs with DVD are provided above exam chairs. Hygienist and dentist were both thorough and clear, efficient and understanding of our sons temperament (cranky). It was a great first visit so I look forward to returning.

Dr. Bross has been fantastic with my son (who just turned 3) and has worked closely with us on a treatment plan for a problem tooth. His approach was customized based on my son's age and temperament and it is clear he is thinking about what is best for my child. The procedure was challenging but went great - I'm impressed with this doctor and the practice overall. My daughter has had a great experience as well with her regular checkups.

I have a special needs child and they did very well with him. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't check you out right away after the appointment - you have to go sit back down in the waiting room for another 5 mins or so. Luckily my kid wasn't in meltdown mode after his teeth cleaning but I can foresee this waiting to checkout being an issue in the future. I've never been to a dentist where you have to wait to be checked out so that's why this is odd to me. ;)

My youngest, now 8, has been coming to this office for about 2 years and she truly gets excited every time she has an appointment. I’ve been bringing my sons to this dental clinic for about two years now. During that time, it’s changed names a few times (Collins and Associates; Collins, Bross and Associates; and now Naptown Smiles, Bross and Associates), but the pleasant atmosphere is unchanged. It’s very kid-oriented, with an activity-filled waiting room, video screens positioned right in front of patients (to distract them while their teeth are cleaned), and a pair of gumball machines that dispense tiny prizes after the checkup. Each hygienist we’ve seen has been great with kids, understanding that each kid is different, and taking the time to give instructions that a three-year-old can easily follow. My kids now LIKE trips to the dentist, and even though it’s ten miles from my home, and there are about a dozen pediatric dentists within just two or three miles, we’re happy to make the longer trip because this one is so welcoming.
