Highly recommended! Wonderful and professional staff. I got 6 fillings and they all went smooth. She did everything to make sure I was ok and no pain was felt. Stop looking for a good dentist, a great one is right here at Metropolitan Family Dental!

Very unprofessional. My first experience I was told that they could not do a basic cleaning and that it had to be a deep cleaning, I've never been told that before. I decided to go back and give them another chance but then I went for my appointment that was scheduled 6 months in advance. I arrived at the office for my 9AM appointment and found myself and another patient outside waiting for them to open after 15 minutes the other patient left. I called and was told that the office was not open and that they had tried to call the week prior. I never receive any calls or messages to tell me that my appointment had been cancelled. I did however receive a confirmation text confirming my appointment with Dr.Hassani. I will not be returning. I do not recommend them. First they wasted my money and second they wasted my time.

Sona gives horrid customer service. After speaking with her on the phone, which was like pulling teeth, I get told I need to call my insurance and get them assign. I do she then tells me, even though my wife tooth is green and it's an emergency. Sona proceeds to relay I won't be seen until next week. However she was not wanting to share any information with me because I had no paid anything. This doctor is only about protecting herself. I am not sure why people review her so well. But after reading I thought as someone else mentioned "stop looking for a good dentist there is a great on at met. dental." this is a fib! Sona at the front desk, when I asked to speak to someone else, simply to find out if I go through all the steps, can my wife be seen in the next day or so. She said nobody else was in the office, even though I heard someone speak to her and tell her to "put me on speaker". This office as a joke. As a military man I would highly advise people to send their beloved family members. Obviously when she changed over the equipment she forgot to change over to positive customer first service. I even offered to pay out of pocket just to have my wife seen. Truly sad service. Don't "stop" looking keep looking. If my insurance was accepted I would go to Dr. Galkin In Silver Spring. My advice! Call him, ask for Robin (wonderful lady) and see if they take you insurance! Cheers! #Support our troops 19

Dr. Hassani is a very good dentist who cares about her patients well-being and oral health. The same goes for her professional staff. My wife and I have been going to her for many years - ever since she took over the practice of our previous dentist who retired. She has thoroughly modernized the equipment which makes scheduling, examinations, cleanings and x-rays very easy for us and for her practice.

She told me I needed a deep cleaning instead of the regular cleaning. I asked if she could just do the regular cleaning, and she told me it was a “waste of her time.” When I admitted I couldn’t afford a deep cleaning and just wanted a regular cleaning, she asked “do you have a job?” “Do they not pay a lot?” This obviously upset me, as it’s hard to admit you can’t afford something, let alone answer questions about it. She was quite kind after I got upset and gave me the regular cleaning, but it was only about 5 minutes.

Exceptional service. Dr. Hassani and her staff are always extremely courteous and professional. I always leave feeling like my teeth are the cleanest and the fillings and crown were the best I've had done. Dr. Hassani is by the far the best dentist I've found (and I have seen a few in the Maryland, DC and Virginia areas) and I will never go to another. Highly recommend!
