Brand new and I must say, I am deeply impressed with the interior design and the staff. At first I really thought my two year old daughter would give them a hard time because she's not too fond of strangers trying to put their hands in her mouth but they made her feel so comfortable and at home with toys available to play with and her favorite movie, "COCO" playing in literally every room that she was so cooperative and stayed still like a big girl. LOVE IT and will definitely recommended them.

From the time we arrived the front desk staff was amazing. The dental assistant was very gentle and ensured my daughter was comfortable, treating her with the utmost respect. To top it off, Dr Joe was very knowledgeable and made sure we understood every concern he had regarding her dental care. I took my son to his 1st dental appointment this morning, which to be 1 he surprisingly did an amazing job! I have to thank the staff and Dr. Joe though for making him feel comfortable and being gental with him. Very professional staff, and great experience from the time I walked through the door. I love this dentist office. I also like the fact it’s in an easy to locate area with tons of parking. The staff is very kind and informative. They welcomed my family with open arms. My two boys (2 and 3) love going here. I think the tv’s on the wall, cool glasses for kids to wear and all of the above are cool ways to keep a kid happy and at bay. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE.

I've seen other Pedriatric Dental facilities, this one takes the sugar-free CAKE!!!! The facility is very modern and just walking in to the happy yellow office, brightens your mood!!! Kid me would have loved to be seen here for my dental care :)

Quick side note: I wish they had turned down all the televisions though it was hard to hear anything.

I stumbled upon this office looking through paperwork/the internet, and I'm so glad I did; for numerous reasons. Upon walking in, the office is super clean. Every little inch is sterile. The office is beyond kid friendly. Toys, TV, iPads. Warm, fun wall art and colors. I was very impressed! To say the office staff is kind and helpful is an understatement. They are fabulous! They work great as a team, and it shows! Before my son even went back, I met Dr. Joe. He introduced himself. He has such a genuine smile and kindness about him. We went back and I was able to go back with my son, which was awesome. The room they go into for a routine check up is wide open, which I like, since they are children. It makes it less scary. The hygienist, Michelle, was very knowledgeable, sweet, and personable. She spoke to my son (15yo), and made conversation. When she was about to start cleaning his teeth, she dropped a tool on the ground. I watched quietly to see what she'd do. I was happy to see that she removed the tool and got a new, clean one. She could have easily brushed it off and acted like it was okay. But she didn't. She spoke to me and commented about different things that were going on with my son's teeth. She made my son feel confortable, as well as my self. She did a thorough job cleaning his teeth. My son didn't complain about anything hurting afterwards, which is a plus. The technician, Ariel, was super sweet. She came alongside of Michelle, and helped input some things in the computer for her. It was nice to see people working together in an establishment. I even commented on it. There was no friction between them, or any of the staff for that manner. Dr. Joe came over and checked over my son's teeth. He answered every and all questions I had. He went above and beyond, when he checked over my toddler's teeth for a quick moment (just because I wanted to get him accustomed to going to the dentist). Dr. Joe even printed me out a copy of my son's xrays, which was super helpful. They give the kids a little goodie bag after their appointment is over, which contained numerous dental items, but they also had chapstick, which I've never seen before. Super great idea! Today, I had an appointment with my youngest (3yo). Again, the office staff was super friendly. Complimented by son. And remembered who I was from last week. I can really appreciate that. Michelle, the hygienist, worked on my little guy. He wasn't feeling it at first, and she couldn't have handled him any better than she did! She was patient with him and tried to talk to him. She explained everything she was going to do and use on him. After a few minutes, I pushed my chair away and allowed her to do his checkup without me next to him. He did wonderful, and it's thanks to Michelle! Dr. Joe came to check my son over, and he, too, was awesome with my son. He actually remembered me from last week, too, which was really cool. He was encouraging and supportive. Anyone who treats my son with such respect is awesome in my book! They gave my son a coin, so he could retrieve something from the coin machine, which was super cool for my son. They were very amicable about scheduling my 2 boys together for their future appointments. Snd last thing I do want to say is this... this is an African American owned business, and I am SO honored to bring my children here to support it! It aids in showing my two boys, you can do and be anything you put your mind to, regardless of what your complexion is. I hope this practice does well because Dr. Joe and his staff deserve it! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my boys! I can't wait until our next appointment. It's truly refreshing to see an entire office of people who all get along, and treat each patient and their family with genuine kindness. Keep up the great work, Kids by the Bay!

Our experience at Kids by the Bay was amazing! All of their staff was super friendly and Dr. Joe was absolutely wonderful! I definitely would recommend him! Their office is so nice and bright and they even have flat screen tvs on the ceilings for the kids to watch a movie while their getting their teeth cleaned!

This experience left my 4yr old excited for his next visit! My son and I had an excellent experience today with our visit to Kids by the Bay Dental. Their office was extremely clean, and Dr.Joe and his entire staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, professional and really made us feel comfortable! I was more nervous than my son was yet Dr. Joe and his assistant kept him calm and comfortable, during his entire procedure and I could just sit back and not worry because they had everything under control every step of the way! Most children’s dental offices over decorate to confiscate for their lake of “kid friendly service” yet for Kids by the Bay Dental from the way that every single staff member interacted with my child and I from the moment we entered the office, all the way to how Dr. Joe and his assistant interaction and how well his procedure was perform, it was nothing less than excellent kid friendly service! I couldn’t ask for better! I highly recommend this dental office for your little ones! ( I wish I could be a patient!) highly recommended!!

Dr.Joe is an excellent dentist ! His office is designed to accommodate children and their parents who may be nervous coming to visit for the first time. We just went to Kids by the Bay which opened up in White Plains and my son and I absolutely loved it! They have TVs with kids movies playing on the walls and above the chair, which is brilliant! The toy dispensers are also great. They were very sensitive not to say or show needles or any scary tools. Its incredibly kid friendly without being 'babyish'. My 8 year old son has alot of dental issues but they do procedures in house or at the Laplata hospital if needed. I was driving to Laurel before so I'm very happy they came to southern MD. The staff was super friendly and got us an appointment within 1 hour of when I called! The Dr. was very helpful, informative, and friendly. So glad to have found this office!

I love this dentist. They are extremely child friendly. The building is new and the toys and things that the kids can play with are up to par. I never worry about my son when he visits. They talk to him, ensuring him every step of the way. I really like that they allow the children personal preference on what movies they want to watch, while getting worked on. They were also very accommodating for me when I was running late to an appt. 5 stars all the way around. I'm so glad I found Dentist Joe.

This dentist office is amazing. The dentist Dr. Joe is out of this world amazing. He is very good with children very patient and kind. His staff is a even better very knowledgeable, caring, and bubbly. My daughter wasn’t scared one bit when she had to go in for work. They make sure the children and parent are comfortable they allow the children to pick their favorite movie off Netflix to watch.
