Out of this world experience for my daughters first dentist appointment. The office is exciting for kids and very clean. They even have Nintendo games and a very cool fish tank in the waiting room. Each staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome and keep my daughter happy and comfortable during her appointment. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Once again, Dr. Suzanne Wallengren and staff came through for my cavity-prone five-year-old boy! They worked quickly and efficiently, while keeping my son calm and comfortable, with the help of nitrous oxide ("laughing gas"). My son looks forward to visiting "Dr. Suzanne" again for a cleaning in the spring. We are fortunate to have such great pediatric dental care close to home!

Our 15 month old daughter fell and chipped her tooth. Joppa Greens staff provided an amazingly kind and helpful approach to helping our little one. Of course this happened at the end of the business day. But they made sure to fit us in, without any hassle. The dentist was amazing, and so kind. She was able to file down the sharp edges and now you can't even notice. Obviously a drill is not a plesant experience for a 15 month old. But the dentist was quick and efficient, giving us a great experience!!!

If there were 10 stars I’d give them out to Dr Wallengreen and her staff! They are incredible at taking care of my kids and making them feel safe, while doing an excellent job with their teeth. :) The office is set up for children in every which way, and is an esthetic delight as well! My sons (4 years and 18 months) LOVE going to the dentist! Dr. Wallengren is kind and patient, and has a thoughtful manner that complements her skills as a dentist. She is thorough but not overly interventionist, and her real care for her patients is evident in the way she she interacts with them. I've had wonderful experiences with the staff - the front desk, assistants, and hygienists. Scheduling is easy, and everyone always seems genuinely happy to see us!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Susanne and the staff at Joppa Green Pediatric Dentistry! My daughter has been going here since she was 2 (now 4), and she looks forward to her visits. New experiences can be scary for young, imaginative children; the dental hygienist described every sensation my daughter would feel before she touched her with any equipment (including X-ray equipment) and let her look at and touch the materials. This exposure allowed my daughter to be informed and familiar with what would be used on her, thus minimizing/eliminating her fear and gaining her compliance. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

My kids have been going to Susanne since she started with Dr. Blumenthal and always look forward to going to the dentist (unlike when I was a kid lol). The front desk has been extremely respectful and responsive, always pleasant whenever I have talked to them either to reschedule or otherwise. We love our hygenist who is fabulous with kids and Dr. Susanne is terrific. My husband even commented last time he took the kids how impressed he was with the entire office. It's a great office for kids and I would highly recommend it to everyone!!!

Dr. Wallengren is a rare find...she is just as experienced as she is caring. She listens first before she examines, and if it means listening while she examines, she will. Today she let my son recite his academic reports back to her because he was very proud of his report card. At the end of the visit, she was genuinely concerned about our next steps and asked that I call the office tomorrow. This is a special practice headed by Dr. Wallengren.

Beautiful clean office, such wonderful staff Dr. Wallengren is so professional and knowledgeable. They take the time to sit with you and your child and make sure your child understands everything and how to best take care of your teeth. They are patient and being in the office is wonderful it has such a calm and comfortable vibe filled with sweet people — all three of my kids go there (16, 10 and 3 year old)and they absolutely love going to the dentist!

My son who can get anxious about things like dentist visits had a great first visit here. Everything from setting up the appointment to getting an earlier appointment from the cancellation list to the visit was super easy. (The office uses texts very effectively!) My son was relaxed and laughing throughout his cleaning and check up. The stellar reviews I got from other parents ahead of time were spot on: great practice, great team.

The front desk staff and office manager at Joppa Green Pediatrics were very rude with scheduling my kids(new patient) appointments. They made me feel like based on my insurance determined my appointment. One minute they had availability then when asked which insurance I have?? The staff then said the appointment time I wanted wasn’t available. The office manager was handed the phone and was very nasty. I’ve canceled my appointments!!! I called Dr. Tracy Bowden at Kids First Pediatrics the staff was very pleasant and welcomed my insurance by giving me the appointments I was asking for with no hesitation.

All the staff was really friendly and super attentive with my little one. They all seemed to enjoy working with kids, which I think is a must but not always the case. We enjoyed our visit. Everyone was accommodating to my active toddler and helped me keep him in the right place. The appointment started a little late but it was because she had an emergency visit. I of course understand, as I would like my child to be seen right away if we were to have an emergency. The facility was very clean, up to date and kid friendly. They had various items in the lobby to keep any child busy while I filled out the paperwork. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I recommend this establishment.
