Okay, no lies here. I met Dr. Becker via cycling group and we became friends. For a few years, I had contemplated seeing him for my dental needs, but I was happy with my previous dentist. It wasn't until I talked my wife into going and she in turn talked me into going. All I can say, is that I wish I would have made the change sooner! Dr. Becker is a perfectionist and the work that I had previously done was really not all that great. Dr. Becker is fast and accurate and ensure that you won't have further problems. His staff is incredible and all of them are very caring about their patients. He is also a leading TMJ specialist. Simply put, go see him, you won't regret it!

Please note: don’t get fooled by the other Smiles guy...like I was. This is a review for the practice of Dr. Ray Becker, DDS, FAGD. This review deals with that dreaded Teeth Cleaning at the dentist (OOOUUUCCCHHH!) Can a cleaning ever be fun? — NO WAY! You know how they scritch and scrape, banging into your gums, seeking out and finding every single blasted sore or sensitive spot in your mouth? A 30 minute cleaning takes three hours hours o pure torture. NOT THIS TIME!!!! I've never walked from a cleaning without being sore for the next two days. Today, I had no problems. In fact, my gums were bumped just twice. Yes, bumped not banged. Dr Becker, please, please be really nice to your patients, don't let her slip away, she's a keeper.

The staff was great, and the only reason for two stars and not one. I left feeling ripped off with a $300 bill and a referral to someone else. I clearly stated what I was there for and got a bunch of unnecessary xrays and evaluations done in hopes I would have other work done.

Elated to have found this new dentist. The care and concern they put forth for every patient goes above and beyond your "standard" dental visit. The first consultation is 1.5 hours, to make sure they know all your medical history and medications, to make sure that's not playing a factor into your dental work. From the consultation, to genuine care from the front desk, to the assistants, to the hygenist and doctor, then everything in between is incredible. You will know what you're getting, for how much and be educated. Same day crowns? Talk about a game changer. I am happy to have found these professionals and look forward to their growth.

State of the art equipment, one visit crowns, grear quality work. The staff is friendly and prompt with the paperwork. I never had any issues. A well run family business! After five dentist, I finally found the correct one. Free treatment plan with details on costs and procedures needed and TMJ analysis. No more two visits to fit a crown. Crowns are made while you wait with computer design creating the perfect fit. Fillings without metal is a big bonus. Staff and dentist are friendly and professional. Appointments always run on time.

I'm extremely mixed about this site. Dr. Becker and his staff are very friendly and clearly know their work. But prepare for gimmicky promotions, rewards for patients who provide positive google reviews, social media promotions, raffles, etc. Prepare for no weekend options and for it to be persistently out of your insurance provider's network. Prepare for unacceptably long waits with little to no notice, short-notice cancellations, significant expense, and issues with filing insurance claims--- all of which occur much more than the rare (and understandable) fluke, which I think most people are willing to accommodate when it's the exception and not the norm. To be fair, it's a lovely office, but it speaks to one of the biggest problems with healthcare-- that it's all about the sales pitch, the inflation of amenities, the gimmicks, the promotions of procedures --- all efforts that I would rather see go to more transparency in the practice---You know, that thing that keeps the sanctions away. The result of the atmosphere of this practice is that nausea-inducing feeling that you never know what's genuine, or what you're being fleeced on because there is such a sales pitch, promotional mentality -- most patients will never know if they actually need a process and it's an earnest recommendation, or if they're being fear-mongered into it , or if it's because the clinic is getting perks from referring/ promoting certain procedures. When you leave for all the reasons above, there's a lot of talk about referring you to someone more appropriate so that you can continue whatever you're doing, calling back to talk out the concerns, etc. But the reality is, the promised outgoing communication with you stops once it becomes clear that your wallet won't be returning. And if that isn't damning, then I don't know what is. It's unfortunate, because everyone at the practice is rather likeable-- and it may very well be a good practice for folks with unlimited finances and an incredibly open schedule who don't have to be at their jobs at set times, who respond to the gimmicky stuff--the raffles in the office, etc--- folks who care more about "The atmosphere" of healthcare than it's actual sustainability. And in some ways, it's tragic because I do think clinicians feel pressured to perpetuate some of that nonsense to be competitive. But you don't have to be part of it if you don't want to be. I'm a new patient to Dr Becker and team and so far am a fan! They get new patients in right away and the new patient consult/treatment plan is extremely beneficial. Dr. Becker is very knowledgeable (and a fast talker!) and appears to be on the forefront of dental technology/techniques. Lisa, the hygienist, is very sweet and does a great job. The only downside is that she is the only hygienist and only works Monday-Wednesday. Do expect a major price tag when you review your dental treatment plan. Dr. Becker is out of network for all dental insurance companies. Their team will work with your insurance company to reimburse you for payment, just know that you'll pay a bit more to go here. Note that I haven't had any major work done here.

I've been to quite a few dentists and fear going to the dentist for many reasons. Dr Becker and his crew I think are the best I've come across. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they work with you on your schedule, make sure you're comfortable. I've had a bit of dental work done, by far I've received the best here. You know when they test your bite with the stain strips? He takes the time to make SURE you feel 100% comfortable before you leave. Need a crown? Not only will it look PERFECT in your mouth, placement and color, they have a machine right there that makes it for you. No going home with a funny cap and come back or a week or two. I had chipped my front tooth years ago, my dentist slapped a patch on there. Worked ok , but never looked great. Got my teeth whitened, had Dr Becker fix it. Looks amazing. I am super pleased with this practice. Special mention for "Randall" the hygienist. (Forgive me if i have spelled your name incorrectly) You know how it feels you are just a number to be completed? Randall makes you feel like your cleaning and whatever else she is doing for you that day , and YOU are the most important thing in her day.
