Horizon Family Dental has not made me love going to the dentist, but I don't hate it either. The office is in a convenient part of town with plenty of parking. The receptionists are friendly and efficient, very helpful with any appointment changes or billing questions. I have always been seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment. Most important, the doctors and hygienists make me feel I will be well cared for...they are professional, experienced and gentle. Gentle...the best quality.

Absolutely amazing! I came here to get four wisdom teeth extracted and felt extremely comfortable with the level of care and professionalism I received. The treatment coordinator, Jackie was exceptional. She went above and beyond to explain the treatment to me in a way that made sense. She was very friendly and approachable as was the rest of the staff. The assistants, Amanda and Sam, and my doctor, Dr. Yalamanchili were all comforting throughout my procedure. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I understood before continuing. They made me laugh & were very attentive. Their office was clean, well kept & organized. Everyone greeted me when I walked through the hall and overall, was an extremely welcoming environment. Definitely would recommend Jackie for any procedure and the rest of the staff if you need surgery!

I had decided to go to the dentist; because, I hadn't been to one in five years. I looked up dentists that took my insurance in my area, and found this one. They took my x-rays, and gave me a cleaning. The staff in the back were very nice. The hygienists sat with me, and talked. They told me I had 11 cavities. I was not surprised, and they showed me the x-rays to prove it. We discussed the plan to fix them over 4 appointments. This is where it went down hill. They gave me a surprisingly low number of how much it would cost for each of the four visits after the insurance paid their due. Excited, I said that would be great. They did remind me that it might cost more if my insurance didn't cover all they were anticipating. I asked how much more. They said they are not able to know until they submit it in, but assured me it wouldn't be too much more. I agreed and paid for that visit, and the upcoming one to get it out of the way. All four visits were very pleasant. I paid each bill accordingly to what they had said I owed. There was even a moment where I spaced out about the payments; because, I thought I had already paid for one, but I hadn't. They went over it with me and they told me I only had this one payment left. I agreed and paid it. On my last appointment, I asked them if I was done, and they said "Yep. you are done!" I left feeling confident, and satisfied; excited about my new smile, dentist, and the feeling of it being all done. Then on Christmas day, I got a bill from them saying I owed 639.20 cents and they charged ME a fee for undercharging me. I was so confused, and angry. I took my bill to my engineering friend; because, she is better at numbers than I am. She looked at all my information, and was angry for me. She called and yelled at them, demanding why I was being charged more; because, the numbers were very confusing.They told me to call my insurance. So we called the insurance, and the insurance informed us that they never sent a pre-approval to the insurance office, and my insurance didn't cover white fillings; because, they are cosmetic. They said what they would cover what it would cost for silver fillings. I even remember asking the hygienist what fillings they were going to do, and she said they only do white ones. "No one does silver anymore because of mercury." The numbers still didn't make sense, so I took it to my human resources to see if she could help explain it to me. She was able to calculate it, and figure out the confusing way they had put it on paper. She said the numbers did make sense, and unfortunately the dentist is allowed to do what they did legally; because of the disclaimer I signed at the bottom. They waited till all my visits were done to submit it to the insurance, never sending a pre-approval, giving it the guise that it was much cheaper than it was, making sure I did all the appointments while fitting it in the fiscal year. She said it's very common with dentists to do that. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do. My heart deflated of hope. I felt stupid, and duped. I went to the dentist, and we set up a payment installation every month until it's paid off. Two months later, I received a call saying that my credit card didn't go through. I decided to walk in since it was close to my work. I went in, and she swiped my card, and it went through. They asked me how I was after the appointments. I told them I had a slight sensitivity biting down on one of the fillings. They told me I should make an appointment. I told them I wanted to wait till I'm done paying off the current bill I owe. They told me it is better to have it looked at in case its something serious, and that it wouldn't cost anything because they wouldn't do any work. I had to decide whether or not I would trust them again, giving them a second chance. I agreed, and we set it up. A couple of days later, I had looked at my credit card, and it showed they charged me twice. I walked in before work, irritated. It was the same woman who charged me. She fixed it and apologized. I cant trust them and cancled.

I always hated going to the dentist until I found Horizon. I am very grateful for the staff here.. everyone does an exceptional job at making you feel comfortable. The providers do a great job at explaining things to you and the front staff constantly goes above and beyond.

Had a great first experience here. I called to make an appointment for a new patient appointment on Tuesday and they got me in on Friday! The hours are pretty convenient for me (I think they saw me at 7am, which was great for me!). I arrived and the waiting room was comfortable but I didn't wait for very long at all! I was seen within a couple of minutes of my appointment. Everyone was very kind, had positive attitudes, and was relaxed. My previous dentist's office felt like going into a tooth cleaning factory, this was much more comfortable. I'll see you again in six months!

Doc replaced an old silver filling. The doc applied a "numbing agent" to my gums to make the shot less painful and I only felt a pinch on the first shot. Felt nothing else during the procedure. The whole thing from the numbing agent to completion took maybe 20 minutes. Very quick. The worst part about it was being numb for about 3 hours afterward, but I'd rather be numb than feel drilling!

This is a high sell practice. I went in asking for an estimate of ALL my options from low to high on dental services available for an issue and they provided an estimate for the highest cost option only and tried to sell me a service contract as well. I will be going somewhere else for my dental care.

A few weeks ago, I started an implant placement process. This was my first visit to this dental office. Everyone from the front office staff to dental techs and dentists are awesome! At first I was evaluated and given a comprehensive break down of the prices for my implant. I actually got two quotes, one without insurance and one with insurance. I was very surprised at their patience and level of attention to my needs. I was given a very convenient appointment when I called for my first appointment. Dr. Sethi performed the first surgery (in a series of three) with Michelle’s help. During the procedure, they both paid close attention to how I was doing. I was impressed that for the first time in my whole life, I had no real discomfort or complications after the anesthesia wore off. Additionally, I was fully recovered the next day. I will continue to come to Horizon Family Dental Care and I do recommend them to friends and family!

Horizon Dental is amazing! Our family was in need of dental care and Herizon has been more than accommodating. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming. The back office staff is comforting and gentle, my three kids (ages 7 to 15) and I had great experiences. The two dentists we saw explained the procedures perfectly and completed the work with ease to where I am actually looking forward to my next visit. I am okay with the dental care here but Monica the over bearing sale associate is like a used car salesman. As long as you're agreeing to her aggressive up sales she is all smiles but when you say you want the less expensive service she gets mean and nasty. Going to the dentist shouldn't feel like buying a used car. Now I see why people hate the dentist. As a healthcare administrator myself I would fire this woman if she work for me.

NEVER GO HERE!!! I went in as a new patient for my routine yearly teeth cleaning. After the x-rays were done, I was taken to a very small dark room that was filled with flies. A large brunette woman came in to explain the deep clean process- comparing it to a heart transplant. I asked her not to elevate teeth cleaning to such a risky procedure. She they compared it to cancer treatments. I just lost 2 family members to cancer, one a 16yr old girl, I started crying due to the sad memories. I asked her to stop again! I was then told they would not be doing my routine yearly teeth cleaning because they considered it morally wrong when the dentist wanted me to do the deep cleaning option. I got a 2nd opinion from another dentist who said the deep cleaning only cleans under your gums. It doesn't clean your teeth so I would have needed to get the regular yearly cleaning done as well as the deep cleaning anyways! ALSO they wanted me to prepay for the deep cleaning. I was quoted a price off a worksheet that they said the insurance wouldn't pay. I called my insurance with the worksheet and there are hidden fee's that my insurance does not cover. NEVER GO TO THIS DENTIST! They are mean, out for your money and a waste of your time!

Have only been here a few times. Staff is friendly. Place is pretty clean. Almost never have the same people twice which could be good or bad. No real complaints. They do try to upsell for things that aren't covered but will stop if you say no. Will continue to use them.

Went here to have a crown replaced. Arranged financing with Horizon Dental Care for $740 to cover what insurance did not pay. I returned to have temporary replaced with permanent crown. I told Dr Qui I felt dull pain in area of new crown. He said I probably grind my teeth, suggested I needed a bite guard or botox injections. Then proceeded to install permanent crown. During polishing by a technician I complained of pain, but he persisted saying he was almost finished. Pain increased over the next three days. I called office, but instead of having a dentist call me, desk clerk suggested I review the treatment plan they sent for bite guard and botox. After repeated calls, I got an appointment. Dr. Patel said the tooth was infected, and prescribed antibiotic, and pain medication. He offered a consult over a week away, root canal to be scheduled after that. I was in too much pain to wait so the office gave me a list of dentists that may or may not take my insurance. After 2 days missed work due to pain, I got a same day appointment with a specialist. I spent 2.5 painful hrs. in the chair as he did the root canal. He said the pain Rx, and NO2 gas did not help because of the infection. I had to return to my regular dentist in two weeks for the permanent crown. My insurance paid the specialist in full, but Horizon billed me for an additional $1300, despite the financing they arranged. After speaking with their office, and my insurance company, I still came away with no explanation why the charge was twice the anticipated amount. It has been over a year since that fiasco, and I am putting off another visit to the dentist!

This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff is fantastic, the office is very well maintained, organized and clean. While I was being examined, I noticed that they had some incredibly expensive state-of-the-art machinery, and the tech's were very knowledgeable about every question I had. The doctor was straightforward and friendly, and I was given a variety of treatment options for different procedures that needed to be done. At the end of the exam, I was given a very comprehensive list of what was recommended for cavity treatment and orthodontic work, and the list also provided what my out-of-pockets would be, as well as my out-of-pocket costs if any of those visits should turn into a root canal. I have never been so impressed by any office I have ever visited, and will definitely be recommending both the Hanover and the Baltimore practice's to everyone of my friends and colleagues.

I have to say, I really like this office. The one that I'd always gone to in the Midwest made me feel horribly judged any time they found a cavity or if I'd done something less than stellar in terms of ideal oral health (I drink more soda than I probably should.) There's no judgement here, and everyone is super professional. They lay out what's going on, if anything, and what your options are. The dental hygienists that I've had clean my teeth are all very diligent and thorough, and have a great "bed side manner" if such a term applies here. Honestly, since switching to this office, I now don't dread going in for a check up. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Staff and Doctors are very professional, a chip of my tooth came out one night due to a cavity I didn’t get filled, and they were able to accommodate my emergency by making arrangements for a root canal the following day, they made me feel very comfortable and at ease during the procedure. Only problem I had was the night my tooth chipped, the after hours dentist didn’t answer the phone so I had to wait till morning to get in touch with someone. Other than that, Dr. Key was able to see me the same day I called back, and worked very hard to get me an appointment for the root canal. Dr. Foster did the root canal the very next day on short notice. Thanks to the doctors and staff I won’t spend my vacation in pain.

Generally great and friendly service but billing is a mess and none of the doctors communicated the need to get my bridge in within 2 weeks of casting. Because of my busy schedule, by the time i got my appointment, they told me my gums had shifted and another mold needed to be done. It was really inconvenient because I now need a couple more appointments to get everything done.

Went in for a cleaning and check up and was told I had 6 cavities that need to be filled which was strange because I had never had any cavities and I was skeptical that 6 cavities would show up this quickly after my last visit . I went and got a second opinion at another dentist which saw no signs of any cavities. I would recommend getting a second opinion prior to having any dental work done here.

I had the worst experience at this office, I got hired by lies and they told me I was going to be trained. matter fact they never did, every time I asked a question to gain experience they always put an excuse and never answered my question. working at Horizon was a disaster and at the end when the 3 months passed they had the nerves to tell me that I was not a good fit for their practice... the level of racism in this office are high, if they dont like you they wont teach you anything! they will leave patients waiting to check out for hours. I remembered there was a patient who asked for coffee and my manager denied to give the patient a cup of coffee. thats how bad this is. Thanks for wasting my time!!

My visit to this dental office was great! I highly recommend this dental practice. My daughter has been going to this dentist for 3 years and she has always had a good experience. I recently decided to give them a try and I had a wonderful experience too. It was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. My dental hygienist was gentle and super knowledgable. I went in for a consult yesterday. Found out they were able to do the procedure at the time of my visit to save a trip. They even accommodated my five-year-old who was with me, they put on Disney junior for her to watch when she wasn’t playing with her toys. The procedure was very intense and I was really anxious but Dr. Sethi was very understanding and I was able to trust her completely. So far no issues post-op!

My bank card information was allegedly stole by a trusted former employee. I filed a police report. If you visited this establishment around November 2018 check your bank information. I honestly feel betrayed. The dentist claims they are sorry, which they probably are but they still should alert their patients that this happens so they can check their bank statements. If you contact them then may meet with you to discuss the matter.they did offer me LifeLock.

I have given this facility multiple times to redeem themselves. I've had this place do multiple fillings and crowns. And time and time again the fillings fall out or the crowns fall off. Yet again, I am failed and i have lost yet another crown. I am fed up with this company, and yes going back means he work would be free but its not worth the constant failures. I was informed the cement they were using would bond so much with my tooth that the only way the crown would fall off is if my tooth underneath shattered. Well not the case! I do not recommend this place for anything serious. And the basic cleaning is sub-par

I went to this office to get my teeth cleaned but they claimed that I had server plaque build up and that I would need a deep cleaning. They gave me an estimate that's adds up to $1500. Such a disappointment I just went to get a second opinion and the dentist gives me the opposite opinion what the hell is going on why would two doctors give completely different diagnosis within 3 weeks time I am so disappointed beyond words. The money is not in the cure it's in the medicine. Be careful you are not a patient your a dollar figure.

They were very considerate and were able to squeeze me in for my wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Yalamanchili was so kind and helpful throughout the entire surgery. She took the time to make sure I was not in pain and when I was she stopped immediately and numbed me more. I was very nervous for the procedure and she was so caring, it made me feel a lot better. This is an amazing dentist office so I definitely recommend it.

I will never go back to this place and highly recommend nobody else does. Went in for a consult last year, was told I have multiple cavities that were so bad I needed 6 root canals and crowns (quoted around $10,000 in work) Decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness I did. 1 root canal and crown was all I needed, the rest were just small fillings. If you like to not be put through un-necessary treatments (as well as straight anxiety at the bill) I highly suggestst you do not go here.

I recently had a root canal and I honestly fell asleep in the chair! They are patient with any questions you have as well. Another plus about the practice...it’s a one stop shop! I had a periodontal deep cleaning performed over 2 visits. The staff is very friendly, and showed me what my insurance would pay before I scheduled my visits. I knew exactly what I would pay out of pocket which helped in making the decision to have the procedures performed. I had a nightguard fitted for my teeth 12/11/15 and they told me 2 weeks it would be back in. When I checked out I paid my bill in full. A few weeks later I got a statement saying I didn't pay my bill. I called the office and they had posted my payment to someone else's chart. It was resolved after 2 phone calls. Today I called to inquire about my nightguard because no one had called me to tell me it was in and the girl told me my nightguard was in the office. I couldn't pick it up after work today. I have to be scheduled with the dentist who fitted me which seems appropriate. However, now its going on 4 weeks, they took my money, and I can't get in for another 2 weeks to get my nightguard. I have to see the dentist which is appropriate to make sure the guard fits, but they were unwilling to accommodate my schedule. I told the girl that answered the phone my husband and I would probably be finding another dentist to go see.

I was welcomed with professionally dressed receptionist and given an iPad to enter all of my information as a new patient. The staff greeted me with a smile and a knot that I was a breeze patient. The service was prompt and thorough. As soon as I was finished with the iPad, I was escorted to the back. It was a well coordinated/syncing from checking in to being seen. There was no wait. The patient area was great. You can tell the practice invested a lot into dental technology. There was a machine that did a 360 scan of your head, the dental cleaning chairs had vs attached to them to view shows (HGTV) during your visit and there was a tooth scanner with a camera light for taking images. Brooke was the best hygienist I've ever had. She took her time and did not make my gums bleed nor did she rush. She was through, polite, had great bedside manner, answered questions and explained everyhu by she was going or about to do. Dr. Bhangra then came in and he had decent bedside manner as well. He answered my questions. He along with Brooke put my images up on the TV screen in front of me so that I could review and ask questions about my dental care. This rating got 4/5 stars only because of the slight eagerness to obtain payment at the end of the visit. Besides the copay, which is understandable, the receptionist discussed upcoming treatments and wanted payment. I would be more at ease if they collected payment after services were rendered or bill the insurance. Other than that, I have already refereed a friend. I enjoyed my experience

My wife and I had a clean up appointment with them. They completed my clean up and told my wife she needs a deep clean so she needs to come back. In addition we were recommended a list of things to be done and gave us an estimate of $15,000 even thought I had a decent federal dental insurance. Lastly, they recommended Waterpik water flosser for both of us. I am not exaggerating but I have called 4 times for a doctors note for the Waterpik so that I can submit it to my health flex account, but all the time I get promised that they will get back to me soon as the doctor is busy in a procedure. To give me a $15k estimate, the doctor had all the time in the world to spend 30 min with me.
