I couldn't be happier with the experience at this dental office. Dr. Blank was amazing with the local anesthesia when I have my crowns done. I never felt the needle stick even with multiple injections of local anesthestics-painless. That was never the case in other dental offices in my past experiences. Dr. Blank always took his time to talk to me about the dental procedures and the options. The dentist who really cares about you. He would make phone calls personally to follow up. I had a fair amount of work done here & would really recommend this office to those who are dreading to see a dentist. All of the staff are wonderful. Donna the hygienist always takes time to explain each step of the way while thoroughly cleaning my teeth. Jennifer the front desk staff always is helpful and friendly. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

My teeth and gums always feel refreshed and clean when I leave. Any time I have a problem I know I can call and they will do the best they can to squeeze me in or offer help over the phone. Silver Spring, MD. My 4 front teeth were chipped and cracked. There was no decay...just thin fragile teeth that were falling apart after 53 years of use. Dr. Blank and his wonderful staff gave me back my smile and my original look. It makes a difference in the way I see myself. I feel better at work and in social situations. It wasn't cheap...but his staff worked with me to make it happen. It was well worth the time and money. Dr. Blank is a gentle expert at his craft. He explains options and procedures well. If Dr Blank and his amazing staff are anywhere near you, I can not recommend their services enough. They take their work seriously and personally. Your comfort and satisfaction is of the utmost importance to the good doctor and his staff. There is no sign in sheet for patients when you arrive for your appointments because they know your face, they remember your name, and they care about you. If you are torn on which dentist to go with I can assure you that you will not find a more professional, friendly, or knowledgeable dentist. The hygienist is also very skilled and personable. The entire staff makes you feel at ease . I had not been to the dentist in about seven years before arriving at Dr Blanks office initially, and now I look forward to going to the dentist!

He takes care to explain the background (both practical and scientific) associated with my problems and the associated procedures. He is very patient focused and compassionate, taking care to minimize the anxiety and pain often associated with dental procedures (including referrals to appropriate colleagues when necessary for patient specific issues). These attitudes are shared by all of his staff who are competent, friendly and approachable, and also seem to share Dr Blank's sense of humor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blank's for 30+ years. Here is my review: if I moved to the other side of the country I would return every 6 months to keep Dr. Blank as my dentist and Donna as my dental hygienist. Their knowledge of their respective fields, as well as other areas that impact patient care and comfort, is 100% thorough and always up-to-date. I have had nothing but positive experiences with routine visits, not to mention visits for more involved procedures. The Blank's are very attuned to preventive care and will gently nudge you to take steps to improve your oral health, but they are never berating in this manner. The office is run with great efficiency, I suspect in large part because of the most helpful and gracious office manager, Jennifer. I cannot recommend Dr. Blank's practice highly enough.

What keeps me going back to Dr Blank's office is his expertise and up-to date knowledge, his extreme interest in seeing his patients satisfied, his ability and desire to have his patients understand a procedure and his encouragement to have his patients communicate with him. He also doesn't spend on frivolous items like tvs just to impress. I applaud that. You will never get "ignored" by his office staff and likely to come away with all kinds of good tips from both Donna Blank and Jennifer. I first went to Dr Blank to get a 2nd opinion from another doctor who out-of the blue, told me I needed antibiotic shots and was incurring bone loss. Dr Blank took his time and explained that was nonsense showing me on an xray. He viewed what the previous dentist was seeing were pseudo-pockets and that likely there would be no place for the antibiotic to go. He saved me a 1000 plus dollars not to mention a not comfortable procedure. From there he became my permanent dentist. He and Donna are all about helping their patients. I realized this and the superb knowledge was worth my traveling time to stay with Dr Blank. He kept my Dad with his original teeth until my Dad's passing at 94. My Dad was a scientist who was very impressed with Dr Blank. That speaks volumes - my Dad was not one to be easily impressed. I doubt you will regret going to Dr Blank's office. I have recommended him to three of my friends and all were pleased with Dr Blank's skill.
