The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I would have liked to have met the dentist and had an opportunity to ask questions before the work was done. I did get the chance to do so before they took my second child back.

We have only been once but it was for my daughter's first dental appointment ever and, at only two years old, she obviously screamed the entire time. But the entire staff could not have been nicer and they even provided a curved mat for our daughter to lay in on my wife's lap while the dentist checked and cleaned her teeth. We picked this place because it was close to our home, was recommended by our pediatrician, and got great reviews online and we are so glad we did!

Horrible experience! Dishonest and unethical. Had two very bad experiences as a new patient and when I tried to leave and take my daughters records, Dr. Neel wouldn’t give them to me without a fight for them! He should be reported to the board of dentistry and have his license revoked! And I have never written a review such as this in my lifetime- trying to help people from be victimized by him.

They don’t discriminate , they aren’t racist, and they do their best to accommodate, they accept a lot of insurances even Medicaid healthy smiles they don’t treat anyone different everyone red white purple blue black all get treated equally. The lady at the front desk always been pleasant and Dr NEEl is the best you will NEVERRRRR FIND ANOTHER PEDIATRIC DENTIST WITH SO MUCH COMPASSION AND LOVE AND PATIENCE FOR KIDS AS HE DOES my oldest been going there since 2yrs and so does my baby. We have united Concordia but before that we had healthy smiles always got VIP A1 treatment SINCE DAY 1 .

The waiting area, offices and patient rooms were bright, inviting and comfortable . The staff was pleasant , answered my questions thoroughly and I was helped quickly . The office was very child friendly . My son was seen within ten minutes of us arriving .The doctor and nurse were warm ,patient, knowledgeable and communicated every step of the plan in a way that I could easily follow. He arranged the plan in such a way that it would correct the areas of concern and allow my son to maintain his comfort with going to the dentist. I would recommend this practice to everyone.

My 11yr old who is very afraid of dentist came in today for a consultation prior to getting a cavity filled. The office had a cancellation so they said we could have her cavities (turns out that she had two) filled. The dental assistant Jamie was so nice and showed my daughter each tool and how they are used. My daughter didn't want to go through the fillings today but, with a little coaxing she said ok. When we got home she said it really wasn't that bad! Thank you Greenspring Pediatric Dentistry you've made a once very anxiety ridden little girl up for going to the dentist! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!! Dr. Saptune is wonderful & gentle with the kids, while being honest & direct with parents. Refused tx on my Child because they can refuse tx on any PT. Could have given a referral to me at first appointment as requested so his tx could have been completed. My child was very cooperative, young but I was fully aware of procedure. Put fluoride varnish on his teeth straight after exam. Didnt brush his teeth. Didnt want to give him tooth brush children bag because it wasn't a cleaning appointment, have no Idea what I came from Towson area for because they only took 2 xrays which, I brought with my referral at his first appointment. Greenspring pediatrics is wonderful. They operate in a new, clean bright space. There are really good toys in the waiting room and a fun prize token operated machine. I've been bringing my kids here regularly for check-ups, and they always love it. They also love that they get a token with which to get a toy for themselves afterwards. But as nice as everything was, I wasn't convinced it was much more than a brushing-teeth & goodies factory. Until, that is, my daughter had a cavity, and I saw how they treated a real situation. The efficiency was a marvel of nature: we were in and out within 30 minutes. They had everything ready, explained to my daughter that they were going to spray water in her mouth (conveniently leaving out the drilling part), let her test the filling material on her fingernail -- they prepared her for the whole experience. She cried a little when they put the 'chair' in her mouth that props it open for her, but they adjusted and did the rest of the filling without it. I can't express how impressed I was by their professionalism, care and efficiency. This is where you want to take your child.

Incredibly unimpressed with this place. We were referred here by my dentist and just in the process of trying to schedule an appointment, I already despise them. They are 100% unflexible with hours, and have unrealistic expectations for working single parents!!! They tell you when you can come in, and if you can't accommodate, then you need to call back when you can. They already advised ahead of time that they refuse to accept the insurances allowed amount and plan to bill you for anything over than that.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Greenspring Pediatric Dentistry. My daughter is five and usually freaks out at the dentist but this was a totally different experience. They made sure she was comfortable and understood everything they did before they did it. They played her favorite songs and talked to her the whole time. She didn’t cry or get scared once. My daughter fell on her face and loosened one of her front adult teeth on Monday of memorial day weekend. Dr. Neal took care of it that evening at his office after a neighbor dentist checked and said it needed to be taken care of that night! I am so thankful. It would have been more painful and longer, and potentially not healed as well had we waited!!
