I found there was a lack of privacy in the back office, all patients around you can hear your results of X-rays. I had to fill out the questionnaire both times that I was at the office. I Wasn't aware of prior charges until the day of a follow up appt and was also going to be charged again for a exam on my second time back that had already been conducted on my first visit. I would not return to this office.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this dentist office. When I walked in, I was greeted by Ebony, the very friendly and welcoming woman at the front desk. If you're a new patient, they send you information to fill out before your appointment which makes things go a lot quicker. But even if you don't fill everything out before going, they have tablet device for you to enter your information. I arrived maybe 10 minutes before my appointment and only had to wait a few minutes before I was seen. The hygienist and other professionals there were very courteous and knowledgeable. Something else that I liked was that there was a tv to watch during my dental cleaning. Also, you can bring your own music and headphones to listen to as well. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. This office went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and appreciated as a welcomed client. To everyone that worked that day. Thank you very much for your wonderful service and making me feel like a welcomed guest!

This Dentistry Office has this long, extensive questionnaire that you have to fill out on line, yet fails to tell individuals that Medical Assistance is NOT accepted. Although the young lady explained that they do not turn down a patient just because they have medical assistance, there should be a stop gap in the application to inform the patient of this. Money is tight and your application asks about concerns. My concern was monetary I also put my medical assistance number in the application. Thank God that I did not furnish my social security number that they also ask for. I traveled and wasted my time and gas for nothing! I had a very disheartening experience. Please stop providing people with a 45 min survey without the medical assistance stop gap caveat. Thank GOD for sea salt and warm water. If I depended on this office for assistance for an emergency I would have been out of luck! ------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE.. DECIDED TO GIVE THE A TRY WITH BCBS INSURANCE....STILL DISAPOINTED! 2/5/18 I was jipped out of $120.00:( I mentioned my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, it was never taken. $120.00 for ex-rays and not definitive diagnosis. Was scheduled for a follow up. I went to Dr. Joanne Block Reif @ 10 Crossroads Drive and paid $160 for root canal and x-rays. Reasonable, great service!

I LOVED IT HERE! I came in for a basic exam, and got a cleaning! The customer service was BEYOND fabulous. I felt like I got VIP treatment in the chair when getting my cleaning: I received headphones to block out noise and was able to watch TV and barely felt like I was at the dentist! The exam was wonderful, they came in told me about what I needed and I never felt pressured to do something that wasn't beneficial. Awesome place, such a nice facility! I can't wait for my six month appointment!!!!

I could not have been more impressed with the service I received. It was with much trepidation that I came to Dr. George after having a "bad" experience with my previous dentist. I needed a root canal as well as fillings. Dr. George definitely brought his "A" game. I experienced very minimal discomfort. This was definitely a first for me. I can't say enough about this place. I was looking for a new dental office because my dentist retired a few months ago. I received a mailer at my home and made an appointment for a cleaning. Well, from start to finish it has been a wonderful experience. New patients register online. Love it. When I arrived the doctor went over my answers from my registration. The office layout is awesome. High Tech. Each cubicle can either watch television or listen to music. The patient gets their own earphones. Periodontal Therapist Drenna Williams did my cleaning. Wonderful experience. We had a tutorial on the proper way of flossing. She showed me and then I did it myself. All those years, was doing it all wrong. Oh, the chairs are massaging chairs. So glad I found them.

My husband and I became a new patient this week by way of a search online for a dental office close to my and my husband's place of employment. This practice is beyond what i ever could have imagined for a dental practice! From the front desk staff to the hygienists to Dr. Evans Jr truley top notch!! This dental office is crazy good! It's state of the art with an efficient, helpful and knowledgeable staff. All my life I've dreaded going to the dentist office. Now, I look forward to sitting in the chairs that massage me as I watch the news or a game show while getting my teeth cleaned. Everyone there is friendly and seems to truly love what they do, as opposed to many dental offices that have surly, snarky staffing. Most dental offices make you feel like you're bothering them or ruining their day for coming in or asking questions. Not so at DCB, they really make you fee like you are their most important client. And most impressive of all, George doesn't ask you pay for procedures that won't work or you don't need. This place isn't exactly cheap but it's worth every penny. Call ahead to find out if your dental insurance is accepted there. If it is, you'd be crazy not to give them a try.

I went to schedule an appointment to get some X-rays, a cleaning, and a filling. When verifying my insurance information, I was told that they would submit a claim on my behalf and I would get reimbursed within 3 weeks. I called 2 and a half weeks later to verify that they submitted my claim, which they did, but then they told me that I would not be getting reimbursed because I am out of their network. If I had known that in the beginning I would have never went to their establishment. Extremely disappointed in this establishment. I do not recommend going to Dental Care of Baltimore, it seems like they will do whatever it takes to get your money.

UPDATE:: The Businesses response below seems to only strive to further mislead those who observe this review. The business has still failed to take full responsibility for its poor customer service and poor business practices. This place is DISHONEST AND UNACCOUNTABLE for their office's Mismanagement! The office employee provided me with MISLEADING information, advising me that "I" have a credit to cover services with no out of pocket expense, and Directly after going through with the service ONLY based on this LIE, I was told I have NO credit and must pay the balance! I arrived for my scheduled appointment.. At this time I was advised by the office staff member that my new insurance was not accepted. I advised the employee to cancel my appointment, as I will go to a dental provider within my insurance plans coverage. As I am walking out of the door, I was called back in by an employee, who informed me that "I" have a credit that would cover the cost of my cleaning for that day. I inquired on the credit and asked for confirmation that I will not have ANY out of pocket financial responsibility and that the credit she is advising me that I have, covers the entire cleaning. The staff member confirmed that there will be no out of pocket cost to me and that my credit will cover my services in full. I went through with the cleaning. Directly after the cleaning, the staff member advised me that the credit actually belonged to my father and is not a credit of my own, but that they would use his credit to cover my service. I informed the employee that I do not feel comfortable agreeing to take a credit that my father is entitled to and that the employee Falsely informed me that "I" have a credit. I asked the office manager to step in and to take accountability for their staff members' deceitful information. The manager took no accountability and left the charge on the account. Months later, after my father went for his appointment and established his wishes to keep his credit rightfully due to him, the office then sent me an invoice (FIVE months later - October 2018) for me to pay the cost. I called to speak with management again to ask that they take accountability for their staffs' costly and dishonest information... I was told that the manager was unavailable and that I would receive a call back; I did not.. I called again the following week, and was told the manager was busy and that I would receive a call back again. When I finally spoke with the same manager who took no accountability the first time, she now offered to assume responsibility of half of the cost, and requested that I would then only be responsible for the remaining half. I again asked that her office take Full accountability for their office staff providing deceptive information, She responded that I am responsible for the cost. Extremely poor and unprofessional service at this place, and poor business management.

Dr. Evans and his staff did a great job with the planning, preparation, and implant procedure. They reviewed the entire process and let me know what to expect. Erin worked out the insurance and financial details. Dr. Evans has developed techniques for administering the anesthesia; therefore, the entire procedure was painless. There was very little pain after the procedure, so I only used one dose of pain medication as a precautionary measure. The entire staff at Dental Care of Baltimore is extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend this dental office.

I am honestly shocked to come on here and see the high reviews this practice has received. As one of the other reviewers stated very accurately, "This place is DISHONEST for their office's Mismanagement!" I don't even know where to begin. 1. I called to make an appointment for my 18 year old son for a cleaning this summer after the office confirmed that they are in network with my dental insurance. He came home after his appointment and stated the dentist ran out of time and he had to reschedule his cleaning appointment. HOWEVER, when they should have been doing a a cleaning (the purpose of the appointment) they used up the appointment time to take xrays and mislead my son to believe he has three cavities that require immediate attention (in the form of fillings) in order to prevent the need for a root canal in the future. To make matters worse, Dr. Kira attempted to discredit my opinion as his mother by continuing to not only scare him into thinking that immediate fillings will warrant the need for a root canal but also relentlessly pushing the fact that he is 18 and the decision is up to him. Come to find out our new and current dentist my son and I got a second opinion on this from our new dentist who says that he has no cavities and if anything was there it is so benign that it does not require urgent or immediate fillings. Even after this very unprofessional encounter with Dr. Kira in which my son did not receive his teeth cleaning and had to pay a copay of $80 for, we received a bill saying that we OWE AN EXTRA $100. The standard cost for a cleaning should cost about $50 but yet this entire fiasco is coming out to close to $200. I am extremely displeased with the deceitful money making tactics of coercion the dentists of this practice use and the poor customer service that is displayed. I have reported Dr. Kira to my insurance and am looking further into where else I need to report our experience to protect other future patients.

Terrible Dentist, do not go there. I just visited their office and it was nothing like the description written on their website. I went in for a routine exam & cleaning and waited an hour and half to be seen. They ran XRays and I had to actually hold the XRay machine in place myself. Rather then do the cleaning right then, they scheduled me for another appointment the next day. Again, waited an hour (at 8am) for the cleaning and when it was finished they instructed me that they wanted to "change my code" charge me an additional $185 and see me again in 6 months. Mind you, I went to this dentist because of their sedation dentistry, and all this happened when I was still groggy from the medicine. I left the dentist, instructed them not to change any codes and to keep the plan we had from the exam the day before. However, I just received a bill for $145 from them. Even though they "checked" to see if I was covered from my insurance, apparently it's my responsibility to know the answer and not trust what they tell me. DO NOT GO THERE. It was a terrible experience.

I have always had an extreme fear of the dentist, but this office puts me at ease. The hygienist was efficient and informative. And Dr. Evans gives the most painless needles I've ever had. It feels like he is gradually releasing the needle only after each layer of skin is numb first (hard to explain, but I truly didn't feel the needle, which has always been my biggest fear). We know our patients time is very important so we do our very best adhere to a strict "on time" policy. But even more importantly a policy of 100% satisfaction in the quality of service. After speaking with you at your last visit, I was under the impression everything had gone well. Are you afraid, mortified, terrified,or just plain reticent about going to the dentist might be your state of mind when your spouse reminds you that it has been way too long since you've had your teeth examined? Those were the balking thoughts that used to style my character when reminded that it was time for me to go to the dentist! Two hygienists, Ron and Shere' welcomed me and performed minor services with me with such gentle professionalism that I truly relaxed so much that I fell asleep on the chair. Dr Yee worked some further medical magic while she performed more complex surgery on me. The kindness of the entire staff is a wonderful thing in this era of expediency at any cost in 21st Century America.
