We just had our first appointment and the staff was amazing!!! Absolutely awesome care and very patient. Hands down the best pediatric dentist we’ve been to. EDIT: We had another appointment where they did a small filling and I must say I’m impressed with how amazing this office is. My child is sometimes anxious and nervous at the doctors office and screams when she gets shots but they got everything taken care of even the anesthesia without my daughter even flinching. I’m and out in 30 minutes, I can’t recommend them enough. 10/10

Just a wonderful experience for my 7 year old! The office is beautiful, clean, friendly staff, etc. Dr. Koyman performed a cavity filling for her with no issues what so ever. He explained everything to her and let her see and touch everything so she was completely comfortable.

Today, My daughter had her first cavity filled by Dr Tennasee who was professional, knowledgeable and calming! She made this experience so fun and really took the time to creatively explain everything! The dental hygienist was also just as excellent, Cindy!! We were seen in the Abingdon office- front staff great! Excellent experience for my child who had a great deal of anxiety! 5 stars! Highly recommend!!!

We have two daughters and a special needs son that go to Dr. Koymen at the Abingdon location. When we moved and changed from their Honeygo location to Bel Air I was nervous. But everyone was wonderful and helpful and Koymen was awesome with our son. Thank you

I love this place! The staff are so polite and they are so sweet with the kids. They really took the time to talk and get to know my son so he could feel comfortable. My 4 y/o was terrified of sitting in the chair and they did everything they could to make sure he was comfortable and happy. Once they looked at his teeth, we got "supplies" so we could play dentist at home. He had a great experience and was all smiles telling everyone about it.

Dr. Koymen is amazing! He does exactly what is necessary and does not add or charge for any extra dental procedures! He is the most competent , honest dentist I have ever dealt with. Even if my insurance did not cover this dental practice I would Pay out of pocket for my daughters to continue under Dr. Koymens care. Very impressed!

I have been taking my son to Chesapeake Pediatric since he got teeth. I went to the Perry Hall location even though I live in Harford County. Dr. Koymen is fantastic. The entire staff is fantastic. I was very happy when they opened the Abingdon location. It makes everything that much more convenient. My son has had some complicated issues regarding his teeth and has received the best care possible. The greatest thing is, my son actually likes going here. He is 9 now and just received a good bill of health after today's check up.

WOW! I am amazed at the entire experience at this dental office. I am thankful I live in a time that has offices such as this--completely tailored so children feel welcome and excited to take care of their mouths. My son had a tooth extracted about 2 years ago, and cavities filled today. Bringing him here I know he is in good hands physically and emotionally, so it makes the experience great as a parent. They seem like they are trained well in child psychology too (must come with the years of pediatric training on top of dental school). All of their words, body language, and actions are centered around the children. My son looks forward to going, and does not fear the dentist at all! I would hug the dentists, but I am afraid I would make them feel weird. That's how much I love this office!

The staff here is awesome!! Unmatched! My 3 children have been patients since 2013. We started at honeygo location and now we're at the new office in abingdon. From the time you walk through the front doors the staff is warm, welcoming, very loving and nurturing toward the children. Doctor Jolez is one of a kind! We absolutely love her! The best dentistry in Maryland by far!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We took our 2 year old son for his first visit today! Everyone there was amazing,friendly, and caring! You could tell they really loved their jobs!! The Dentist was super friendly! And great with our son and very knowledgeable! They made our son feel comfortable even when crying! I’m so happy I found this practice!

I have taken my 3 young children to 2 other local peds dental offices and was not impressed. We tried Chesapeake Ped Dental Group in Abingdon this week and we had an overwhelmingly wonderful experience. The front office ladies were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Our hygienist was also great and worked very well with children. She spoke to them directly and explained everything she was doing to make their experience less scary. The staff asked the childing probing questions to ensure they understood the importance of dental care and gave them tips on how to care for their teeth at home. The dentist was also fantastic and thoroughly explained all of her procedures throughout the appointment and her findings and recommendations afterward. She gave me multiple opportunities to ask questions and I never once felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. My children enjoyed their visit, have been pretending to be dentists since we left, and are already asking to go back. Thank you Chesapeake Pediatric Dental Group for making the task of taking 3 children under the age of 5 to the dentist, effortless and enjoyable :) Jessica Hamilton

Great people & environment all the way around; my son is 7 & very shy- The staff were so nice & make you feel comfortable & welcomed. This was our first visit to the Abingdon branch since we moved out this way- & it was a pleasent experience- they are wonderful with how they talk to the kids( I remember thinking that in my head while we were there)- what more could you ask for; especially when having to go to the dentist in the first place; Can be quite nerve racking to say the least. So we 100% will be continuing our pediatric dental care for my family here at Abingdon.

Awesome place with amazing kind staff had an appointment for my son and daughter. Ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 and they are so bad with their appointments every time they would cry and be terrified of clinics and such things but doctor and staff in here were so amazing and friendly i was amazed to see my kids enjoying their visit i would definitely recommend every parent to bring their child in there
