I am not one for writing negative reviews anywhere but I just felt that some people should know what to expect. I went in yesterday for just a check up to see how things were since I felt pressure on my molar tooth. I was seen by a young asian dental hygienist who wears glasses (I didn't catch her name) who was extremely unprofessional. I have never felt uncomfortable at any other dental practice the way I felt there. Her bedside manner was just awful. She started by taking x-rays and it was hard for me to bite down because of the pain I felt and she goes "ugh this is not going to work". I have a very small jaw so this has always been hard for me and I would have appreciated having someone patient around me. Moving on, she showed me my x-rays when we finished. Instead of saying I need to floss more she says this "you need to start flossing everyday, you wouldn't forget to wipe your butt after you use the bathroom would you?". She said that since I don't floss enough it could affect my health and even ruin my immune system. I find it absolutely absurd that she would exaggerate that way to manipulate me into doing business with her as I have no cavities or rotting teeth because that's how she made me feel. She also asked me how I felt about my smile and I said good. She goes on to say that I have a tooth that looks a little shifted and that I should consider getting Invisalign. After all this is over another woman comes in who was very nice (the same way the front desk staff were) to tell me how much treatment was going to cost and my treatment would be $2,000 plus. As for the doctor he only came in to say hello even though I thought my appointment would be with him. It honestly felt like a joke. Obviously I am not going back and will take my business elsewhere. I have worked at an M.D.'s office for years and have never seen this much level of unethical behavior. Maybe instead of investing in money in enhancing the way their office looks they should invest time in learning the basic principles of business ethics. I have seen more competent people working at Chick-Fil-A. That is all.

I rated my visit with a three star for one reason only. Sadly I can’t give a five star because the one reason was a huge deal for me. I got a root canal done and the pain from 1-10 was a 12. I’ve had six root canals so I know what they should feel like. I feel like the doctor just didn’t give me enough novicane and It kept wearing off in the middle of the procedure. I felt excruciating pain five times during, even cried through it. He did stop and give me more which worked for a bit but at that time the damage was already done. Sadly I’m terrified to get my next one done. I hate putting out bad news I just don’t want anyone else to feel that pain. Please warn them to juice you up to last the whole time, would be my suggestion. Other then the pain, the place should have been a 5*. The staff was over the top nice and got right to work for me. I’m sad to rate them a three. I will return and keep them as my dentist. However I’m scared to trust them for another root canal.

A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!! I was really disappointed with my visit today. I was initially told I would get the discounted rate when I set my appointment this week. Even though I was a patient years ago the lady on the phone told me I would still get the discounted rate due to the length of time from my last visit. That was reiterated this morning while I was filling out the paperwork. They also told me on the phone I would get a complete check up including a cleaning, and I walked out with only having x-rays and some scans done. When I brought up the issue with the billing manager she was unwilling to give me the discounted rate. I left spending money for nothing and had to pay more than what I was told. No formal treatment was done and l left in pain. I realize I was treated like a number not a patient. I see a ongoing pattern in this industry, it's about making money and not always providing the best patient care. I appreciated everyone's pleasantness however the purpose of my visit today was to receive a cleaning and reduce my pain discomfort. I left feeling worse and will most likely not return.

Dr. Saad and Kim are the best!!! They made me and my wife feel at ease and very comfortable,as soon as we met, and were genuinely happy to see us. They have a way of explaining everything in such a way that is easy to understand. My wife had a tooth extraction( which I was able to watch ) and later that day had little to no pain. She was so happy that she called them the next morning to say " Thank You!!". When her experience went so well, I decided to go see them to fix my broken tooth. I had to get a root canal and temporary crown. They were thorough, sensitive and genuinely hyped up to do the root canal. I am very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Saad and Kim work very well together and compliment each other's skills. They both have a great sense of humor and the whole staff was welcoming and accommodating to our questions and concerns. I will recommend them to everyone I know!!

The staff is always friendly and professional and Dr. Saad always greets me with a smile and a handshake. Everything is always explained prior to my treatment and all of my questions are answered in great detail. The most important thing is my comfort level and the staff works very hard to make sure that is achieved during each visit. I never wait long, and I love that as I have to come on my days off. They run on time all the time and I am always satisfied at the end of each visit. This was my second hygiene appointment in one month. First one they spent hours on taking X-rays of my teeth then hygienist spent less then 5 minutes to wash my teeth with solutions. I asked her why she’s not using traditional way to clean my teeth . She said the solution makes their life easy. My teeth were not clean when I got home so I asked the office to have another hygienist clean my teeth so they did. She did amazing job. Traditional way and the right way. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Wait time is little longer then normal offices. They’ll rush your treatment to make up the time in wait room so pay attention to your treatment ....... UPDATE... Remember I said they took most of my time taking X-rays and cleaned my teeth in 5 minutes. One year later I just got bill for those X-rays $200 which insurance won’t pay. I asked them why they were doing so many X-rays. She said it was routine . I asked her this is free cleaning paid by insurance.?she said oh yes they cover all your routine cleaning and X-rays . It’s a headache one year later. It’s monkey on your back. I called and accoun manger wasn’t around. is worth anyone’s time. All I can say is say no to X-rays and check what they’re charging your insurance company.

Have been a patient for four years+ and I am pleased with the care they provide. Soo is my Hygentist, and she is very professional and caring. Dr Saad is very personable and addressed all your concerns. One glitch is the billing procedures, which do not enable me to use my health savings benefits to pay my deductible. I have to pay out of pocket, then wait for an EOB, then file the claim myself. I am very satisfied with the practice itself!

When I was younger I did not have a nice dentist. He terrified me. Because of this I have had a fear of going to the dentist for the last 30 years. I came to Burtonsville Dental Care and over the last year I have become comfortable! I do not cancel my appointments last minute due to anxiety. Every staff member there is kind and always ask how my kids are. They know it takes me a minute to settle in. Dr. Saad is the best! I am thankful that I found them!

The office is clean, modern, and the staff are friendly. They take the time to explain things and make it a friendly environment even for my 6 year old! They even have Tvs in some of the exam rooms. Leslie in particular went above and beyond-she took the time to introduce herself and wanted to find out what I wanted to be called-that goes a long way! But, again everyone was great! They even called us the next day after the procedure to make sure everything was going well!

I have been going to Burtonsville Dental Care for about 2+ years now. My experience is always lovely. The receptionists, billing crew, dental assistants and dentists have been helpful and a joy to be around. You can tell they actually enjoy their work. I have mandibular which ALWAYS hurt when I get x-rays, but yesterday, Kim performed my x-rays as if the tori did not exist. It didn't even hurt! First time in LIFE! I had fun getting educated yesterday. Kim and Dr. Terry Lyle's answered all of my questions with ease and in layman's terms. They are my dynamic duo! (Dr. Saad is cool and helpful too!) Thank y'all! :)

I had an appointment today on March 22nd at 12:30 pm and I had to catch a Lyft there. When I arrived at 12:45 pm, they turned me away and claimed I had to reschedule. This was totally unprofessional and quite frankly, petty, especially towards a new customer. That office had no more than five people there and they had the nerve to tell me ro reschedule after I told them I was on my way. I was not twenty or thirty minutes late. I was only fifteen minutes late and they pulled this. If I could give zero stars, I would and they would not have said the same thing to "certain people" if you know what I mean.I would NOT recommend this dental "business".

Wonderful dental office! The doctors and staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They make sure you’re aware of and understand your treatment plan. Dr. Saad makes the procedures go by faster and smoother with his smile and side jokes. Never had a complaint while I’ve been going there.
