From coffee drinking, my teeth have always been chronically yellow, and traditional teeth bleaching has only moderately worked. Dr. Greenbaum’s in house bleaching formula (idk what it is specifically) took my teeth up pretty significantly in brightness. Absolutely so happy with my teeth now! As a side note, I have not worked with a doctor friendlier than Dr. Greenbaum. His positivity is infectious and he clearly loves the work that he does. It makes me want to give this guy my business. If you’re looking for a great all around dentist, definitely book an appointment with Dr. Greenbaum!

Dr. Bernard L. Greenbaum is an awesome Dentist! Within 3 months’ time, he helped change my AHI from 27/hour to 2.4/hour through the mouth appliance. He explained everything very well. I like his professionalism! He is very nice and kind. He has a wonderful team of staff (thank you, Stacie, Brenda, Sahar, Shannon, and all…!). They are very informative and eager to help and accommodate the needs of the patients. On the whole, they are very very good!!! Interesting that they link an option to leave a google review. Guess that is why they actually have volume in their google reviews. One thing I noticed is that everyone seems to be very polite in the office. They seems to train their personnel in customer service. The person cleaning my teeth and taking X-rays offered to numb my mouth when I told her I had a bad gag reflex for the X-ray. She also offered to gel my gums when she notice I winced when she was cleaning my teeth. I've never had someone offer the numbing agent before. I believe her name was Rachael. She seemed to take her time and not rush through my cleaning (haven't been to the dentist in years bc I had a bad experience last time I went to my old dentist). Your experience may vary depending on who does your cleaning, but the person who did my cleaning was probably my favorite person I've ever dealt with in my experience with cleaning. She cared enough to notice my pain and offered to gel and even to give me a shot in my gums. I'm sure technology advancing has a part to do with it, but she cared enough to notice and offer a solution. The actual dentist seems much more detailed during his exam then past dentists. He didn't take his time as Rachael but he still seemed to do a more then past dentists. Overall very happy with my experience and would recommend.

I just got a dental cleaning with this guy and he’s honestly awesome! I just moved to the area and found him on Google, and honestly, I have never had someone more thoroughly talk me through what I need in terms of dental work. He also didn’t try to upsell me on stuff that I don’t need. A lot of dentists make it seem like you need all of these extra services just to make more money, but he was totally honest and I didn’t feel like he was upselling me whatsoever. That is the sign of someone who is good at their job because it shows that they don’t need to make an extra buck. Heard he’s really good at sleep apnea stuff too but I don’t have any of that so I didn’t have to see him. Either way, a great dentist.

Doctor was rushed and seemed like he didn't want to work with me because I have a difficult case of TMJ. Stacie at the front desk did not respond to numerous email request and phone calls to submit my claim to insurance. She said their office would take care of it. The visit was in March and it is yet to be submitted. At this point I have given up but I know that my insurance company would have paid at least $100 of the one office visit I had. The last out of network dentist office I went to submitted to insurance and I had a check in a week's time. Place looks nice and fancy but I think the friendliness of the staff is superficial. The doctor might have been better with a longer time slot. They did fit me into that time slot at the last minute. I'm most upset about their lack of follow through on the insurance claim. Also, I was never given a link to review. Interesting. It's as if they know who will give them a good review and who won't.

When I first started seeing Dr. Greenbaum in November of 2016, my sleep apnea was in the severe range, but now I don't have it at all if I sleep on my left side, it's statistically insignificant if I sleep on my right side, and it's in the mild range if I sleep on my back. I struggled with four or five different styles of CPAP masks over a couple years, but couldn't tolerate that form of treatment. Neither my pulmonologist (whose sleep test first diagnosed my sleep apnea in 2007) NOR my prior sleep dentist (who I started seeing when I first got my dental device in 2010) had ever mentioned that SLEEPING ON MY SIDE could improve my treatment outcome. I'm forever in debt to Dr. Greenbaum and his staff - God bless each and every on of them!!

I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea a few years back and was unable to deal with the Cpap machine after trying it for a few months. Cumbersome, uncomfortable to wear. The other option was the dental appliance. I am certainly glad I chose Dr Greenbaum for this other option. Back in January 2019 I had a home sleep test , after that I was fitted for the appliance. As of June I can say I sleep much better and feel rested, the snoring has been reduced to a minimum , I feel the apnea has been reduced as well. Dr Greenbaum is extremely pleasant to deal with . He will take time to listen to your concerns and provide you with as many possible solutions as he can. His office is very patient friendly and I have found them to be truly caring. I am glad Dr. Greenbaum was my choice and highly recommend him.

Very professional. Staff will make you feel like your family. I've had very bad experiences with dentists in the past so I was a little apprehensive of getting major work done. But from the moment I sat down with Dr. Greenbaum all those worries went away. He talked me through each step and took extra time to make sure I was at ease. Dr. Greenbaum provided music with headphone plus a movie to make sure I was very comfortable. The whole staff stay and extra 2 hours past business hours to make sure all my needs were met. This dentist gave me the hollywood smile that I've always wanted. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. Dr. Greenbaum even called me that night to check on me. For years I've been sleeping 2-3 hours/night, and was feeling very tired. My husband was constantly in fear of me suffocating. I stopped breathing 46 times/hour when I was sleeping on my back. I could not wear the CPAP mask because I had DCR eye surgery. My sleep specialist sent me to Dr. Greenbaum to fit me with a dental device. The personal care that Dr. Greenbaum and his staff provided is unsurpassed. Instead of leaving me with any help while the dental device was manufactured, Dr. Greenbaum recommended a gadget that prevented me from sleeping on my back. This gadget drastically improved the duration of my sleep. When my dental device was ready and adjusted to the desired position, my sleep duration and quality became incredible. I could sleep 7-8 hours and have lots of energy from the moment I would wake up. I strongly recommend the office of Dr. Greenbaum to anyone with sleep apnea.

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Greenbaum when she heard I had a diagnosis of "severe sleep apnea" and could not use a Cpap machine. My first contact with Dr. Greenbaum's office was calling them on a weekend and Brenda called me back. Pretty great customer service so far! She explained everything I needed to know, set up an appointment and every interaction with everyone in that office, has been nothing but a joy. Everyone is so competent in their area. The service has exceeded my expectations from the beginning. Dr. Greenbaum has followed my case through the sleep studies wearing the appliance he made for me to handle my apnea. It has made a remarkable positive difference. I recommend Bethesda Center for Family and Cosmetic dentistry very highly!

The first word that comes to mind to best describe my experience with Dr. Greenbaum and his staff is “exceptional”. I was suffering from TMJ. The first day of my appointment, Dr. Greenbaum came out and introduced himself. He immediately asked how I was feeling and if I was experiencing any discomfort. Two minutes into the consultation, after observing how my jaw was tracking, Dr. Greenbaum said, “We can fix this”. Next, he used a model to demonstrate how the mechanical movement of the jaw is supposed to function and how mine was working. (Who doesn’t like visual aids). I felt like I was in a PBS NOVA program as he was measuring the contact points for realigning my jaw to its proper position. He is very exacting and explains in clear detail what he is doing as the action is taking place. My TMJ has been resolved. All those symptoms are gone. The staff are very pleasant, skilled and knowledgeable. There is a feeling of confidence and genuine enthusiasm. Everyone is focused and professional. Their satisfaction is that the patient is getting the very best care possible. I applaud Dr. Greenbaum for fostering this philosophy among his staff. One can sense it and feel it when you enter the office. The specialists that he has recommended have also been “exceptional”. Accolades to everyone associated with Dr. Greenbaum's operation. What can I say but he is the BEST of the BEST. I went in terrified to the point I had to have so much reconstruction just to be able to eat and this fabulous dentist has the most gentle, kind, understanding manner. His staff is above 5 stars as they become your greatest cheerleaders in helping you through some rough situations to get your smile back!! Dr G is so wonderful he came in on his day that he is closed to take care of me when I was in horrible pain along with his staff to ensure I was taken care of. This is a dentist you have to go see to understand that there is caring gentle ways to handle someone who would break out in hives just at the word DENTIST!! Thank you Dr G and staff for taking such good care of me!

I did not have good experience with my visiting. The front desk lady is nice but the other stuff including Dr. Green seems like not very professional. I sit there for awhile before I could see the doctor. After a very conversation, one assistance came out strongly suggested me to do a sleep exam and wanted to collect money right away, even without ask me why I'm there. I came for neck pain and I don't have any sleep problems related to TMJ. Waited more time, then the doctor came out did simple examinations and asked another assistant to do another examination then left. This assistant needed to type my information into their system. OMG, she is the slowest typing person that I've ever met. She used 30s to type the little word "pain"!!! I sit there watching her typing slowly for 20mins. In the meanwhile, the doctor disappeared(he said he was on the phone with another doctor). He showed up later explained my case wanted to calm me down but suggested to do a simple version of MRI from a certain place instead of a powerful MRI result that I recently got. And also wanted to split other examinations into other visits-they charge 178$ for each visit. I don't want to comment more about my visit because I believe you all are smart enough to make your own decisions. Wish my review could help. Best Regards!

My dentist of 15 years stopped taking my insurance and I needed to find a new dentist. Ugh. I called many. Went to three others. Then I found Dr. Greenbaum and his staff. In many offices, the front office staff is the weak link. Not so here. Stacie and Brenda, the women in the front reception area are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Dr. Greenbaum makes every effort to ensure comfort, safety, and five star dental care. I'm almost finished four crowns...one to go and I plan to have it done by Dr. Greenbaum as well.

Dr. Hadid & Dr. Greenbaum, both very knowledgeable, worked together & carefully analyzed my dental issues, taking my concerns & needs into consideration, to find the best course of action, e.g, when I expressed concern about increasing my risk of needing a root canal if I got a crown on a live tooth, another option was offered. They also considered my financial situation, I am unemployed, giving me discounts wherever they could & offering financing. The recommended procedures were carefully explained to me by the doctors and/or medical staff. All of the people in the office are tremendously helpful & kind. I was not pressured to have any procedures. All-in-all a great experience & I very highly recommend them.

The staff is phenomenal and very friendly. My diagnosis was for moderate sleep apnea and I was assigned to Dr. Greenbaum to receive a dental appliance. Dr. Greenbaum and staff answered all questions I had and have been VERY professional every visit. Even though this place is almost 2 hours away from where I live, no complaints at all and worth the drive (Only one assignable with my insurance). Overall excellent customer service and would highly recommend to all. I no longer use a CPAP machine and the dental appliance I received has been awesome. The office keeps in touch with me for follow-ups and ensures I am well taken care of. THANK YOU!!!
