The staff of Allegheny Dental are the best. They are always helpful and continually accommodate my needs. Dr. Beachley has been my family Dentist for at least 20+ years and Jan has been my hygeniest for just as long. I would recommend them to anyone in need of dental care.

I recently started going to this practice and I am so glad that I did! The staff is very friendly and helpful and my experience with Dr. Carella and his assistant Julie could not have been better! I really appreciated the time he took on my first appt to go through my x-rays and digital photos one by one to explain any treatment that I needed and what my options were, as well as understanding my price range. I felt like everyone there genuinely cared about me and it helped make a nerve wracking trip to the dentist much better.

Dr Keifer administered a pain shot without causing any pain. He is onlly the 2nd Doctor to administer a shot to deaden nerves and not cause me pain. The 1st time that happened was over 45 years ago. He & his assistant were very precise in making casts for a crown and crafting the temporary crown. Extremely friendly with a professional attitude.

I love going to the dentist! For the past 2-3 I have seen Dr. Carella and honestly I can't see myself going to another dentist he is amazing. So much that I moved home to Las Vegas and just flew out to Maryland just to see him for my cleaning and for a filling! All of the staff is so wonderful and caring! They make you feel at home! They truly go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable when they are working on your teeth!

There is absolutely no other Dentist, Doctor or even Professional office I've been to in my 61 years to even begin to compare with the quality of care, service and compassion shown by each and every Staff member, particularly Dr. Kiefer! My personal experience has been, due to lack of finances, dental insurance and fear of judgement we do not go to the dentist as we should which in turn causes us to lose more teeth. This was my story. After spending over $25,000 on my teeth prior to my 50's then on disability and raising my grandchildren without insurance, all of my teeth were failing. March 2017 I applied for a program for "people on disability, without insurance & major dental work needed". If accepted and a provider in my area could be found, would cover the entire cost of restoration. After 16 months, I received a call from Gina with Dr. Kiefer's office, Allegheny Dental. She was so kind, so compassionate. My very first appointment was the day before my 61st birthday. All but 7 bottom teeth were broken, decayed, abscessed and had to be removed. A full top denture with a partial on bottom. With no money, no insurance coupled with being terrified of being judged I forced myself to this first appt. I was shocked, I have never been treated so kindly. I felt as though I was with family. After the examination with assistant Crystal and Dr. Kiefer, he explained the entire process, time frame, the fact he was going to totally restore my teeth, my smile, my life and all of this FREE OF COST! I was so overwhelmed I cried. My very 1st call to this office from Gina to every other call for appts. from Kim, the receptionist, I have felt "special". Everyone in this office always looked me right in the eye while speaking to me. Over the past 2 years with broken and missing teeth, I noticed most people averted their gaze from me as soon as they saw my brown, broken, missing teeth. Dr. Kiefer and his entire staff treated me like family and made me feel comfortable. Every visit I watched as they treated every client the same way. His staff shared personal stories just as if they were speaking to one of their family members. Dr. Kiefer shared his story with me as he worked. I am normally very impatient and HATE Dr's appts. NOT HERE, I never missed or cancelled an appt., I looked forward to every one of them even though I knew they were going to be painful. I actually looked forward to each appt. and left anticipating the next. Also fully made aware of what each procedure done or to be done entailed. Dr. Kiefer and either Crystal or Michelle stood with me until everything had been totally explained and every question answered. I believe the success of this practice is due to the level of care, compassion, skill and personal treatment of each individual patient given and shown by everyone at Allegheny. Thank you Gina, Kim, Crystal, Michelle and especially Dr. Kiefer! Dr. Kiefer changed my life in just 3 1/2 months. For the 1st time in over 2 years I spent the day out, smiling, being active with others actually looking me straight in the eyes, seeing my beautiful teeth, smile! All of this provided to me by Dr. Kiefer, Allegheny Dental at NO COST! I could never have paid to even have my teeth pulled let alone all the other work done in 3 1/2 months. There are no words nothing I can say, nothing I can even imagine doing to repay this group of people for the life changing, hope giving, loving and compassionate care they've given and continue to give me and all the other patients I've watched them care for. It is an extraordinary practice with a truly Blessed Staff. Yes, I Highly Recommend Everyone Treat Themselves to DR. KIEFER, CRYSTAL, GINA, MICHELLE, KIM and all the other staff I did not have the pleasure of meeting at the Smithsburg office or the Virginia Ave office.

I came to Allegany Dental 10 years ago looking for a dentist closer to home. A very good decision on my part. The girls in the front office (Gina, Sharon and Jenny) are considerate and ever helpful to my needs. If you are looking for kind and considerate dentists Drs Beachley, Carella and Kiefer are the best. The entire staff at Allegany are exemplary. I can't say enough good about this practice.

Professional,courteous,kind,thoughtful,thorough is just a couple of the many kind positive words I could use to describe Dr. Kiefer and his dental assistant Kathy. I have been very satisfied with the progress they have made with my teeth and gums. I feel drastically better about my smile and overall oral health. I cant say enough good about the wonderful people over at Allegany Dental Care on Jefferson Blvd. If you need a family dentist and or some work done to make your smile pop I would highly recommend Dr. Keifer and Kathy.
