Heather and Kelly are great to work with and compassionate. I am holding out hope for Dr. Berube will relieve me from my 2 months of 24/7 pain. Had my oral surgery this morning. Dr. Berube, Heather, Kelly along with the entire team were great. Dr. Berube discussed his options with me, offered me a few choices and let me decide with him what I wanted done. Prior to going under we discussed exactly what was going to be done. Only a great caring doctor does this. They answered all my questions, they were on time, they treated me with great compassion. I felt nothing and remember nothing about the procedure. Heather watched me in their parking lot, saw I was sick, came out to take care of me and offered me to go back inside so she could keep an eye on me. As of this afternoon I feel great and I am hopeful he solved my pain. If my pain is solved I will be back with a 5 star rating.

I have a dental abscess and have been taking antibiotics and risking a super infection while waiting for tomorrow's appointment. Because of a previous review I called the office wanting the assurance of at least one pain pill in case I woke up in agony post surgery. The office treated me like a drug addict over one pill and transferred me to a "nurse practitioner" who handled the conversation as if she were an addiction counselor. Moreover they were not abreast of current medical literature when I mentioned the increased pain intolerance of redheads and replied "we don't care what color hair our patients have." The end result is they jeopardized my health by cancelling my appointment and told me I was not the patient for them. The Hippocratic oath bears a dedication to minimizing pain. The oral surgeons in this state need to hire competent staff and learn to differentiate between drug seeking behavior vs. pain relief seeking behavior. If a patient has an abscess its safe to assume a request for pain meds is pain relief seeking behavior. Can those with an opioid addiction cause an abscess in their own mouth in an effort to procure one or two measly pain meds ?. There are ways to easily check if someone has a history of opioid addiction. I have all the empathy in the world for anyone with genetic markers for opioid addiction but I will not endure pain because of their relatively rare hereditary misfortune. The field of dentistry is going back to the dark ages in terms of pain management.

Dr. Berube was very nice however the entire time I was there I was made to feel like the extractions I had done were no big deal, I’d be back to normal the following day, there would be no pain, there would be no swelling. Upon being anesticized they began giving me shots of lidocaine before I was actually out. I felt every needle go into my gums. Upon waking up they made me stand immediately and brought me to a separate chair so they could get the room ready for the next person. I was barely given a chance to open my eyes before they cleared the room and I was some kind of dizzy as they walked me out. While waking in a separate chair they told me I would have no pain therefore I would need nothing but ibuprofen. They told my mom to disregard the aftercare instructions because they are directed towards people that have serious extractions. They changed my gauze and sent me on my way with no aftercare information and no pain meds. Upon getting home I noticed that I had stitches, which were not part of the plan and nobody even told me about them. I bled for approximately the next 10 hours. The pain was nearly unbearable even with a lot of Tylenol and ibuprofen. The following day and I have a significant amount of swelling especially at the site of the stitches, and I still don’t even know why they are there. My face is visibly swollen even from the outside and I am still in a lot of pain. These people made me feel like a drug addict for asking for pain meds. I don’t think it was unreasonable to ask for a few pain pills considering I had three teeth removed. They made me feel insignificant compared to the cases around me. I felt like a joke to these people and I feel like the people that work there need some empathy training. I would NEVER go back even if it were an emergency.

Dr Berube is great. He was very professional, thorough and kind. Great personality. I was very impressed. Anything that involves Anthestes makes me nervous. I don't want to be there any longer than I have too. But they all made me feel very comfortable and they seemed fast. I was in and our in no time. Gave me the aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. I've seen him on a few occasions for myself as well as my daughter. I highly recommend him.

Wanted to say a big Thank you to Dr Berube and Heather for taking awesome care of me through having all 31 of my teeth out. Dr Berube did the surgery with ease and after pulling 31 teeth no pain. Today he removed two bone spurs and a Bone chip after surgery was 2 months old. No charge to me. He backs up his surgery and cares even after you leave. Highly recommend Facial n Oral Surgery Associates. Dr Breube is the best around. Thank you Heather for all you did for me and caring even after surgery. Jim Hall

I had to have 3 wisdom teeth extracted. I was incredibly nervous. The process as very quick, very clean, and very simple - so quick, in fact, that I was out before I knew it, and back up before I realized that it had happened. The pain was rough but bearable, and the office was incredibly helpful at answering questions that I had after calling them. A couple months later, I ended up having an infection in my gums as a result of food getting stuck in the wound. I went back in, Dr. Berube recognized the issue, the food piece was extracted, and I didn't even end up having to pay for that visit. I would trust this office in the future for other surgery needs.
