Not only did they treat me and my family with love, patience and respect but they took such good care of our dental needs. Dr. Lowder is amazing. My new teeth are beautiful. The big Southern Roots sign on front of the building had a nice ring to it, I thought. I’ve been needing to make a dental appt for a while. I pulled into parking lot, entered building, and two of the nicest people I’ve met since moving to Shreveport we’re sitting at the front desk. I made an appt right away and two days later I got an exam and a much needed cleaning. Randy is my girl! Thank you for making my dental experience a great one! The office is so clean and very welcoming as the staff. I would recommend Southern Roots Dentistry to all of my family and friends. I felt like a new man when I left and never smiled so big! I am new to the area, and Southern Roots was highly recommended, and deservingly so. I was treated with respect and attentiveness by each staff member, especially by Dr. James Lowder, who took his time to explain to me how to exam my mouth for oral cancer, and Brittany; in addition, I truly appreciate appointments beginning at 7am. Furthermore, the office is immaculate and modern with the staff to match; therefore, I strongly recommend Southern Roots.

DR. LOWDER AT SOUTHERN ROOTS DENTISTRY HAS A TRUE GIFT FROM GOD!! I was born with issues and have gone to a lot of different dentists in my 51 years so I have a lot to compare him to and recently had a pretty traumatic experience with another dentist and had to have in my opinion a pretty intense procedure to smooth out bones and my gums. Dr. LOWDER IS THE ONLY DENTIST I WILL EVER GO TO FOR LIFE and I recommend him to anybody needing to go to the dentist. I am in "awwh" of him! ZERO PAIN, EVEN THE SHOTS DIDN'T HURT. He has a way of doing them I barely felt them. The staff is awesome and the entire experience was amazing. Truly caring and compassionate people!!

They care about their patients ,but that's one thing they don't treat you like patient they treat you more like family. Whenever someone asks do you know a dentist I always say southern Roots dentistry I might not know what they need done or if southern Roots even does it but I still say southern Roots give them a call they will help you out over yonder there nice people.

We have went to another dentist (Pediatric) for years. Our last two visits weren't as friendly so it was time for a change. I found out that Ms. Brittany was working at Southern Roots so we scheduled an appt. When I called I knew they were General dentistry not just pediatric but if Brittany was there it had to be a great place. Took my 4yr old yesterday office is very nice. My daughter loved the keurig she got a cup of hot chocolate while waiting for Dr Lowder and Brittany. Wait wasn't long we met with Dr Lowder we instantly LOVED him. He was up front honest and very kind. Brittany is number 1 in our book already. My 4yr old is already asking when are we going back. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Southern Roots Denistry is unlike any other dentist I have ever been to! The staff is amazing and the facility is simply beautiful. All of their equipment is state-of-the-art and makes for a much nicer experience! I’ve never been a fan of the dentist, but now I am a fan of Southern Roots! Seriously can’t brag on them enough! I even received a personal, handwritten thank you note from the dentist with a small gift inside after my first visit. With Southern Roots, you’re more than a patient, you’re treated like family!

Best dentist I’ve been to, hands down! The staff are warm, friendly, and so accommodating. Dr. Lowder is a joy to be around, and he somehow makes a normally tedious process feel fun and easy. He is quick, hilarious, and super kind. We currently live in Houston but plan to make an annual trip to Souther Roots for our teeth cleaning. Highly recommend visiting Southern Roots, they are truly the greatest.

I was billed for having x-rays done and was not informed there would be a costs for x rays that was not covered on my insurance due to the staff doing enhancing services without my consent.

I had to switch over to this new dentist office due to my dentist that I loved retiring. He referred all of his patients to Southern Roots Dentistry so I knew that they had to be great. My whole family loves Southern Roots. They are all so amazing. Especially love Dr. Lowder and RANDI is my most favorite!!!!!! They are down to earth, a lot of fun, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are not in the business of just making money - when you go there, you feel like you're going to visit your friends.
